This is a very clever idea, especially when travelling with teens. We didn’t have to be anywhere at a specific time, we could stop and discuss what was being said and it gave excellent directions and information. Very interesting and long enough to cover what we wanted but not too long that anyone got bored.
I personally love history so I enjoyed it very much. Experiencing where JFK was shot from which window. We went up to the JFK museum and where Oswald shot from. It is a heartfelt moment to be there.
So happy to have found this audio tour! It gave us the flexibility we needed to start a tour at a time convenient for us. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Loved hearing the history of the area.
The tour was just right! Pace, duration, details about the stops and directions were spot on. We could have shared earphones and purchased fewer tickets.
Never took it. I was wanting the voucher at the time of order not two days later. I had already left Dallas. Felt cheated
Great to be not tied down to a start time so I could start whenever I wanted. Right timing of info at each stoo
Make sure to use headphones otherwise hard to hear with phone. Lots of traffic in the area. Enjoy it really.
Tracy was amazing and extremely informational as she has been in Dallas for several years. We learned a lot of things we had no idea about.
Underwhelmed and wouldn't recommend. I thought it was too brief and covered little of significance other than the JFK sites. Would've liked more local history and significant places to stop. Overall, I thought it was rather thin. Also, ended up booking directly thru Viator, as the TripAdvisor link did not allow me to complete the purchase despite several attempts.

It was interesting. It gave a little history of Dallas and we were directed to the grassy knoll. And it recommended a place to eat
A great overview of the city through the tour. gave a very interesting narration from first settlers to the JFK assassination. Good recommendations and a fantastic idea!
The audio tour was informative. It was pretty cool how it interacted with us as we walked along the route. The downside was trouble with the app opening the tour on my phone at first after uninstalling/ installing the app 3 times. I tried again using my sister's phone, and it worked despite us both having androids. The tour started and worked fine with no problem.
Very good well organised set up. Will do some more of these self guided tours. Very informative and reasonably priced. As well.
I was on the Dallas area for three days on business. I wanted to go to the museum, but it was only open while I was working. I found the self-guided tour, and decided to give it a try. Parking didn't work out too well. I pulled into a lot and there were confusing signs. I paid $10 at a machine because it was the only option. Then it didn't print a receipt. I was concerned about getting a ticket. Also, I ended up walking past a sketchy area near where I parked. This all made me rush the whole experience a little since I was worried about my car. I should have researched and planned parking a little better. Also, my phone battery was getting low. So, I was a little rushed because of that too. I got to the starting point before I ever committed to paying for the tour. Once I paid, there were a couple hoops to jump through. I had to download an app, create an account, launch the tour, enter a code, etc. That took 5-7 minutes. Once I got started, the tour was great. Very professionally done. I got to see and learn everything I hoped I would. And, I was able to skip ahead whenever I was ready. All in all, totally worth it. Thanks for making this option available!
I have taken many other tours like this one and usually enjoy them. For some reason this one had confusing directions and limited information. I was disappointed.
We LOVED this tour! We even told several people about it while we were doing it. The directions were very easy to follow and the guide was wonderful. Unlike a live tour, it was great to be able to pause it and chat about what we had just learned.
This tour was amazing. The education on the distort of downtown Dallas was so great. The tour was easy to follow and ended at Wild Bills!
Excellent short walk. Blah blah blah. I don't wish to have to write 100 characters thank you muchly. . .
The self tour was very easy to follow and go to the next spot. Enjoyed my time immensely. Enjoy the narrative and it was fun
A great, easy to follow self guided tour. The app and the instructions of how to use it were precise and clear. Perfect for those not having a lot of time in Dallas!
What a great way to see a city. Walk at your own pace, see the highlights and pick and choose what you want to do. We loved the history narrative and enjoyed the whole immersive experience. We’d certainly refer other people who love walking and love traveling. A+ on all the tours
I loved this tour, I was grateful it wasn’t more than a few blocks. Great info. I would have loved it being more in depth. It was so easy to navigate and understand where to go. Great job!
The user interface was not intuitive, and the information was general and superficial. Save your money
More convenient than going in a group. Easier to go at your own pace. Very informative. Nice to rewind if you missed any information.
We did this walking tour this morning. After a little glitch with us downloading incorrect app, a quick call to Greg resolved the issue. He was super helpful. We really loved the self paced relaxed tour. Easy to stay on track, easy to listen to narrator. Highly recommend. Great value!
Nice little tour, in Downtown. I've lived in Dallas basically my whole life and never done the JFK stuff. It was a nice afternoon.
Very clear instructions, informative, and entertaining. Just the right length. The 15 second rewind didn't work for me.
The on-phone narrator could not locate where we were. We ended up entering the arched start and going round in circles upto the tram / railroad. We decided to switch off the whole app and explore by ourselves . We got a better experience taking random walks around the park.
This audio was well done and gave you just the right amount of history and facts. It was easy to follow and we enjoyed the directions and sound effects
The tour was full of information and guided me along very well. I would have taken lots of pictures. Unfortunately, it was 111 degrees and my phone became too hot for the camera to work. I would do it all again on a cooler day. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type if experience
I'll rate this experience as 5 stars. Because, along the way, I discovered a few things I didn't know about the city; and it let me visit other venues. It will be nice if the app gave hints about parking slots close, as much as possible, to the start point.
Loved how the app followed you are you walked and that you could pause or even just read the text. Nice set up that allows you to go at your own pace. Nicely done!
Just what I needed to learn more about & see Dallas outside on a lovely day! There self guide was easy to follow, pause, etc
With only 24 hours in the city the WalkNTours audio tour of downtown covering the history of Dallas and JFK assassination is incredible value! The production and location awareness is really well done and packed full of interesting info. It was perfect for us to have the apps open side by side and we were stitched throughout the whole experience. We enjoyed the app so much we booked another WalkNTour the following week in Key West. Please do more!!
