Half-day Hill Country Wine Shuttle From Austin

We had the winery tour with Evan Ford. He was an incredible guide. From the beginning of the tour he had 3 separate groups of people getting to know each other and having fun doing it. He was very personable, imparted some fantastic knowledge about the history of wine in Texas. He was involved with everyone both individually and as a group, and had everyone interacting with each other. He seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us and have us learn about each other. Also gave us great tips on places to see and things to do in Austin for the duration of our stay.

We were in Austing for a wedding and decided to get out of Downtown and see some of the surrounding area. Texas Hill Country was just the thing! Mike Wallace, our guide, was fantastic; friendly, informative, and knew a lot about wine making.

We had sooo much fun on this tour and Keith was the best! He was super friendly and kept the vibes high. We loved how relaxed the tour was and gave us time to explore/take pictures/grab drinks on our own but also kept us on track with a good schedule. I would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the tour. A nice sized group with some great tastings in 3 locations. My only feedback is that the tour felt rushed. I think extending it by 30 mins or so would make it more enjoyable

This tour was amazing. Joel did a wonderful job giving the group local facts. He was very engaging and even remeber everyone's name and where we all were from! He was personable and made everyone feel welcomed! Hill Country did not disappoint. Each vineyard had breathtaking views and wonderful areas to take memorable photos. Would definitely visit again!

I also took The Real Austin City Tour with Ike, so I had the opportunity to experience his wonderful guiding style on both tours. What really stood out on the wine tour was how Ike created such a fun atmosphere for the entire group. He encouraged everyone to share stories, sing songs, and interact with one another, which made the day so much more than just a tour. It was easy to connect with everyone, and I actually made new friends along the way. Having the group sit together for BBQ made it even more fun and gave us a chance to get to know each other. The wineries were wonderful, with incredible views and amazing wines. It was such a beautiful and enjoyable experience. Ike was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and genuinely interested in making sure everyone was having a great time. He really brought the group together and made the entire experience feel special. Great trip! Our guide Joey was excellent and gave us all kinds of information about Ausyin, what to do and where to eat. He also had history of the 3 Wineries we attended. We like the Fall Creek Winery best, the wine was better and they gave you discounts when you purchased their wines on the tastings. For parking at the Visitor Center you can get free parking at a couple of garages, just call and ask.

This experience was AMAZING! Our guide was the best ever and truly made my birthday tour amazing! I think it is EVAN. Thank you so much!!!!!

Evan our tour guide went above and beyond for us on this tour. Would recommend it to everyone. Evan was one of the best tour guides I have had on a tour . He was fun and informative and kept everyone interactive with one another.

A wonderful trip! The wines were great and the staff at each of the wineries were incredibly sweet and helpful as we tried some new stuff. David was an outstanding MC throughout it all! Gave us so much history and commentary of the scenery and he was so good at making sure we were comfortable on the rides and at the wineries. He made the trip even better!

We live in Florida, were in Austin for the Memorial Day weekend. Weather called for rain all weekend. We met up with Wallace at the Visitor Center, left on scheduled time of departure. Quickly showed off his personable character. We had another couple with us, a bridal party and a solo man considering moving to Austin. We all introduced ourselves at the beginning of the trip. Wallace remembered people's names in the van as he was driving. As he said, his goal was to meet as strangers, leave as friends, we all accomplished doing that. Wineries were well geared for our large group of tastings, the wine was better than we expected. After the wineries he took us to "The Yard", didn't spend too much time there, but we ended up going back the next day. Wallace made some local BBQ recommendations and ended up at Coopers. Halfway through the dinner, we got a text and asked if we left a cell phone in the van. Wallace brought his own personal car and met up with us and returned the phone. Amazing person! There are good people in the world and Wallace is one of them. Hats off to Wallace for a great trip, humor, personal stories and relevant history of the towns we visited. We enjoyed seeing Clyde! Thanks again, we will return for the Barbecue tour!

Jax was an incredible tour guide!! She is so fun, engaging, and knowledgeable!! She was thoughtful of everyone’s experience and really tied the group together by asking us questions and building us a custom playlist for our journey! The van was comfortable and clean. Each vineyard provided a different experience which made for a well-rounded trip! Would highly recommend for anyone interested in getting to know TX in a unique way. :)

Jax is a great tour guide. She shared fun facts about the area and wineries and engaged the entire group. I had so much fun and have great recommendations for other things to try in Austin.

Jax was great - we had such a lovely day. Learned some new wines and felt taken care of. I loved the twist at the end where there was an option of a winery, brewery or spirit place.

We loved the wine venues and had a blast but our man Mike Wallace really hit it out of the park as a tour person. Personable, professional, humorous, and didn't miss a beat with the group dynamic. 100% would ride with MC again!

Ike - what an amazing experience for the three of us. We visited three vineyards and sampled some amazing award-winning wines. What made this tour extra special was the vibe- sharing stories, enjoying the views, and learning the history. A little bit of everything. We ended a wonderful day in Hill Country singing our favorite songs on the way back to Austin. I never knew Texas had vineyards but this was an amazing way to enjoy something special outside of Austin. Ike - thank you for making this experience memorable!

We had a great time on the 1/2 day tour. Our driver David was awesome! He made the experience so much fun, kept everyone engaged and had spectacular recommendations on other things to do, three of which we’ve spent today doing. My only critique was to select a third winery farther out of town instead of in the warehouse district. We didn’t know anyone else in the group before the trip but made friends during thanks again to our driver David! Would recommend!

We had a great experience of wine tasting in the hill country outside of Austin. Our guide Evan was the best! He was very personable and provided a great tour and also some excellent recommendations for the rest of our time in Austin. Would recommend the tour if you enjoy your wine.

A must do tour especially if you are into wine but it was so much more. Kelty was an amazing guide full of knowledge and great tips and recommendations for all things Austin. Highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Kelty, was amazing and we had such a fun experience! Our first wine tour on a bus, it was fun listening to the history; wine tasting times were booked for us when we arrived and there was also a short tour of Duchman. On the way home we listened to a playlist that our group put together and had fun singing along. Overall, just a wonderful experience!

Great fun. If you’re into wine and you’re into fun, this is the trip for you. Kelti was exceptional. A born and bred local, her knowledge was unsurpassable. Added with her sense of humor, you have a winner!

Could not ask for a better driver and Guide then Kelty. She was so knowledgeable about Austin and Hill country also in depth view into the wines at each stop. Each of three wineries had lovely wines. Think dryer Italian varietals. The Mercedes sprinter was very clean and super comfortable to take in the amazing views of Hill country.

Kelty was AMAZING! We had the best time and we were on the tour with a bachelorette party to boot! So much fun!

A wonderful and enjoyable time. The host (Jac) was so knowledgeable and make the Trip interesting and fun. The wines were great and having the option of tasting all or some of the wines made it better than tasting wines you knew you would not like before they poured them.

This was a great tour and our driver/guide Ike was the best! The wine was amazing and Ike did a great job keeping us entertained the whole time.

We had an awesome afternoon traveling to 3 different award winning wineries outside of Austin. Comfortable vehicle and our guide,Ike , was absolutely the best host sharing advice on the best places for music and food in Austin. Our little group were best friends by the time we got back !

Out of the 3 wineries we toured, the first 2 were really nice. The 3rd wasn’t even a winery- it was a wine bar with wine tastings. It was at a place called the Yard. It was not a very nice place. It was more for 20 something crowd. We tried to get a quick bite to eat and they only had a variety of food trucks to get food. So because of that, I won’t be taking a wine tour any time soon.

Amazing and surprising wine tour in Texas. We visited 3 wineries and each had at least one or two very drinkable varietals. Our guide, Ike, was great and very informative. The trip was extra fun since we were accompanied by a group of college seniors on spring break! So FUN!
