Jeff was knowledgeable and personable. Looking forward to taking another tour with him!
Very informative and educational experience. It’s an hour and half, but the walk was a perfect pace, and there was a spot to have a restroom break. Jeff was very personable and didn’t mind questions at all, he encouraged questions actually. I feel that makes for a better tour. If he didn’t know the answer, he was upfront and didn’t pretend to know the answer. Oh and Veterans are free!
We had a great tour packed with interesting information and history. Jeff was a phenomenal tour guide, i would recommend any tour he’s leading.
Jeff was awesome and super knowledgeable about the area
The tour guide, Jeff seemed like he kept making things up as he went. The length was good about an hour and half or so. He just wasnt very sure on most things. I feel as if you do these tours you have to be on it with the facts. A lot of the tour wasnt even about the red-light district. Everything about the red-light district that we were told was very vague. He kept saying "i am not entirely sure but"
Very interesting history tour that includes stories of the big hurricane of 1900 and the wildest days of Galveston. Our guide, Jeff, was knowledgeable and fun. We saw lots of places we would like to go back and explore.
Jeff was in fact there. He’s got some pretty nice tats
Robert was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly
Enjoyed the Red District tour very much. Jeff was excellent as our tour guide. Full of a lot of interesting information. Well worth it!
Our tour was amazing and very informative! Rob was great
Our guide, Noelle, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and made learning about the Red Light district very enjoyable. This was our first time doing a tour like this but definitely not our last. Thanks Noelle for an unforgettable evening!!! Brian & Nanette/Newington CT
Noel shows so much passion for her audience. Very talented and knows her history. Highly recommend her. Thank you Noel!
Noelle is a treasure! Was the best tour. She was so insightful and her telling of the time period was really captivating. Well worth the money and made me curious to learn more
Noelle was very entertaining. She was aware of loud noises and would pause to make sure everyone was keeping up. We got so much information and a new appreciation for the city’s history.
Rob was amazing and knowledgeable about all the history and ghost stories. We had a blast learning everything.
Well worth the price. Noelle was a great tour guide.
Noelle was our tour guide. She was great! She had good energy! She was well studied in her knowledge of the subject, along with the architecture and mafia presence. And though I feel I am well-versed in the history of Galveston, she provided several facts about the female workers and the area history that I did not know. She answered all my questions with enthusiasm! But, I cannot give a five star/excellent rating. The reason is that I found the tour price to be rather high. For my partner and I the total cost was $65.73 and this was after a $5 discount through the galveston.com website. After paying for the costly tour, it was painful to dish out more cash for tipping our guide. This is not a reflection on our tour gude, rather the tour company.
Annette was very knowledgeable and a fun way to get to know Galveston.
Amazing tour !! love our guide so much, such a vibe & explained everything great !! loved it!!
Makes you look at the old buildings in the red light district a different way after learning their history
The tour was really interesting and fun. Could not have been more pleased with our guide Noelle. She was super knowledgeable and fun. Til next time.
It was a great tour and very educational! Much more than you can get from just reading up on the history of the area with the visuals of the historic landmarks. Our guide, Rob, had the right amount of energy and was a wealth of knowledge. The only drawback was the mosquitos. Somebody jacked Rob’s bug spray at the starting point or we would have been set! Do yourself a favor and BYOBS (bring your own bug spray).
This is mine and my S/O first time to Galveston!! The tour guide Rob was amazing. Lots of info that didn't know going into. Will most definitely when we come again will be booking another tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ROB was great to us. It ended up being a private tour which honestly was even better. Fair prices, was about 1.5 hours. ROB was very informative. We’ve done many of these tours through the US, and honestly Rob takes the cake as far as very detailed story telling. We did the Red Light District Tour.
We got a private tour with Jeff. Highly recommend. He knows his brothels!
Jeff is a great tour guide with lots of colorful stories, very knowledgeable on the history of Galveston and the Red Light District known as "The Line". He gave us great recommendations for things to do during the rest of our stay. Highly recommended!
Annie was an excellent tour guide! We really enjoyed our tour!
Excellent. Rob was very informative, upbeat and fun. Definitely recommend this tour!
My sister and I really enjoyed listening to history. Our tour guide Rob was excellent, very informative and upbeat. Would absolutely love to go on another one of the tours offered.
Great tour! We were the only people on this tour. And Mike, our guide was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable, especially with our random questions. He had a great sense of humor and was really friendly and welcome all of our questions. Thanks Mike
Mike was a great tour guide. He was very thorough during the tour and knew a lot about the history of Galveston. He also had a great sense of humor and made the tour very enjoyable overall.
We adored our Red Light District Tour with Annette! She was so knowledgeable and definitely painted a picture of what the island was like years ago. Highly recommend the tour and Annette as a guide!
Mike was AWESOME!! So funny, insightful, friendly— a true delight to be around! We learned so much!
What a great tour. Mike was a wonderful guide. I have been to Galveston many times but have never stopped and really looked around like that. Such a beautiful city and interesting history. Good times!
It was very entertaining and Mike was insanely knowledgeable and knew the answer to every question
Mike is an amazing tour guide. It was wonderful to hear his narration of this history of Galveston. Kudos.
Mike our tour guide was outstanding. Hidden secrets of GA Great of Hidden Secretsalveston.
We did the tour with Mike. It was entertaining, and informative. Mike was very friendly and full of historical information. I was worried that it would be awkward because it was just my husband and I with him, but it was a nice stroll even with the heat it was great. Very laid back, experience.
Our tour guide, Mike, made the tour enjoyable and provided some interesting facts. 😀 Mike tailored the tour to us and made sure we were around covering in case it rained.
It was a great tour. Annette was great loved that she dressed the part..
We had so much fun with Rob on this tour! He has a great personality and is a vibrant storyteller! It was very interesting to learn the more scandalous side of Galveston’s history and it had us wanting more! It was also nice that he took photos along the way and texted them to us after the tour.
This was a super cool and interesting tour. We loved it and learned a lot of Galveston history.
Noelle was knowledgeable and friendly. Very informative tour.
Extraordinary way to learn about Galvestons’s complicated history! The Red Light District tour did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Noelle, was exceptional in every way—super knowledgeable but also so passionate about the local history and architecture. We were only in town for a night and SO HAPPY we chose this particular tour. It’s a must do for sure!
Great tour by Rob! He is so knowledgeable- shared a lot of good antidotes that brought the history to life.
Really enjoyed our time with guide Noelle! She was very knowledgeable, and her personality flowed right in with our girls’ group. Enjoyed the mix of red light and mob history she shared.
Rob with the Red Light District tour was absolutely amazing! His personality and the way he told the history was amazing! 10 out 10 recommend him. We will definitely book as many tours as we can with him!
Noelle was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable!
Wonderfully fun and informative one and a half hour walking tour with guide Noelle. So much unknown history to us from the northeast part of the country that was learned. Would recommend it to anyone other than very close minded, religious fanatics.
