We had 7 women, aged from late 50's to early 70's, in our group. Stephanie, our host, was amazing! We were picked up at the house that we rented in Fredericksburg. That was very convenient. She had water and snacks available in the van for us. We went to 3 wineries and loved them all. I would definitely recommend using this company for your wine tours!

The best all-inclusive wine tour we've experienced on the 290. The Mercedes Sprinter is top-of-the-line, and having lunch included at the winery made for a seamless afternoon. 290TX Tours is a small, local company, and they handled every single detail so we all we had to do was show up ready to have fun.

We booked a wine tour yesterday (10/11/2025) for my cousin’s Bachelorette, it was 8 of us and we had the best time ever! Our driver was Berret Whitworth and he was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Berret truly delivered superb service, he was professional, communicative and very personable. It was almost like we’ve known him for years. He arrived early and the sprinter van was really clean! He also made sure our time spent in the van was comfortable; always making sure the air was adjusted properly for us, excellent driving, provided us with waters and snacks and gave great recommendations of things to try while in Freddy. He took all of our group photos AND came inside the wineries with us to make sure we were taken care of. There’s more - he made sure we stayed on schedule and was flexible/accommodating if need be. We truly felt like we received special treatment, this experience was everything. I (and my group) WOULD RECOMMEND 290TX TOURS AND BERRET IN HEARTBEAT! Best shuttle service in the city.

Stephanie, the owner, is very communicative and quick to respond. Pat, our guide and driver, was timely, attentive, and alert when driving. We had a slight miscommunication about the presence of snacks on our trip. If the tour takes you to Baron’s creek winery, be aware that they will not do separate checks for groups.

Our group had an amazing time wine tasting with 290TX Tours! Stephanie was fantastic. When we started planning with her, she was very helpful to make sure we had the best experience. She provided recommendations but was also open to letting us choose where we wanted to go. She also helped us book all of our other reservations for dinner during our stay, which was super helpful for a large group. She even picked us up for dinner and dropped us back at our AirBnB for a small additional fee. On the day of the tour, she provided a large snack basket and even had karaoke available. Stephanie did an amazing job with our trip! She was very quick with communication and was so helpful with suggestions on wineries, places to eat, and nightlife! She was on time, kept us on schedule, and was flexible and able to add to our itinerary the day off. She offered us snacks, water, and microphones to karaoke. We enjoyed the rides between stops as much as our time at the wineries. Haha! She even dropped us at home with premade liquid IVs.
