Recently did a "private tour" around Dallas with Erin. What a fabulous experience and introduction to the overall history of Dallas - a must for any first time visitor. Communication prior to the tour was excellent - even taking the time to call me to discuss my needs. Erin certainly knew all there was to know about Dallas. Such a lovely morning spent getting familiar with the city of Dallas.
Would have liked more history on Highland Park and Turtle Creek homes since I asked for that when I made the reservations. Our guide was very nice and had gobs of information on business and development of Dallas and the history of Dallas which was interesting.
My work team took the Dallas Highlights Tour and it was great! The bus picked us up at the office and Erin was a fantastic guide! I really enjoyed learning more about Dallas, past and present. I would highly recommend a Discover Dallas Tour for a team building activity!
The tour description says, “you will learn about Dallas’ history, art, architecture, JFK, professional sports, parks and more.” And we did! What a great way to see and learn all about Dallas with Erin as our guide we had a really enjoyable half day tour. We would recommend Discover Dallas Tours.
Rebecca was a great host for sightseeing. She was very informative and helpful I would highly recommend her
Wonderful tour with Rebecca! She has a wealth of information regarding Dallas which afforded us a rich experience steeped in history. Definitely a great introduction to Dallas!
Really remarkable experience! We were able to see Dallas through the eyes of our wonderful guide Rebecca. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Dallas, including its extraordinary history and the latest scoop on how its growing and changing now. You will love this tour! So interesting and such a great experience. We plan to recommend this tour to our friends travelling to Dallas next year.
Erin was outstanding she was very knowledgeable about Dallas history. She made us feel welcomed. Most definitely will reach out again the next time we are in Dallas.
Erin was an amazing tour guide! The tour was the best thing we could have done to kick off our time in Dallas. Erin recommended great restaurants for us to visit, too. Would definitely recommend this tour!
My wife and I booked the Dallas Highlights Tour about a month before visiting Dallas for the first time. We came to town for a wedding but wanted to learn more about Dallas. We decided this 4 hour tour would be ideal. Our guide, Erin, communicated with us in the weeks prior to our trip and even recommended a good hotel we could stay at that she could pick us up at to start the tour. We met her at 9am on Monday. Erin showed up in a Lexus SUV which was very comfortable and cool, which was a welcomed thing in the 97 degree heat. We were pleased to learn we were in for a private tour that day. I am hearing impaired and sat in the front and my wife sat in the back. Erin, was super! She was so friendly and welcoming. She is a Dallas native so really knows the history of the city and was able to answer all of our questions in a such a way that we knew she loves the city and knows all about it. The JFK history was the reason we booked the tour but her guide through the parks and the art and the the architecture and the beautiful nearby neighborhood made it difficult to decide what we liked best. We highly recommend Erin and the Dallas Highlights tour to all! We will definitely be back and will tour with Erin again… maybe the Fort Worth and rodeo tour??? Thanks for your style, Erin. Working in Events, I take a ton of tours. I have to say this was the best tour experience I've ever had. I was impressed with Discover Dallas Tours even days before the tour, when Rebecca called me to learn my points of interest. She spent an hour on the phone with me, sharing the latest developments in Dallas and answering questions about my move out there! On the day of my tour, my guide, Erin, was punctual, welcoming, and knowledgable. She tailored the tour to my interests! Instead of glazing past landmarks, she gave us in-depth history and shared hidden gems only known to locals. My dad and I had a great day and felt so much better about my move after Erin's insights. This tour is BIG value for the money!
Erin was awesome. Private tour with family. She accommodated all of our needs and wants. Very knowledgeable
Erin led the best tour of our 3 week holiday. So glad we chose this company. I’d recommend it as ‘the first thing off the plane’ for the love of Dallas it gives.
My husband and I took the Dallas Highlights Tour with Erin. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating, and was sensitive to our particular interests, giving us all the time we needed at our favorite stops. Her knowledge of JFK's assassination helped us better understand the events of that day and provided us with new insights into that day. We enjoyed seeing Pioneer Plaza and the Pegasus Icon. She understood that photos were important to us and she was an excellent photographer, helping us document our journey. Erin was always on time and always looking after our needs, fitting lunch for us into a busy day. Our tour vehicle provided excellent comfort and transportation.
My husband and I took the Dallas Highlights Tour with Erin today. Wow, we can’t say enough about how personable, knowledgable and invested in the city she is. We had a very comfortable ride in a Lexus SUV, and she let us decide if we wanted to get out at several stops or not. We asked if she can end up at the museums (so we could spend the rest of our day there), and she rerouted our tour to accomodate that request. We had a great, relaxing time and she even pointed out Troy Aikman during our tour :) Do not hesitate about taking this tour - we highly recommend!
Extremely informative tour of Dallas with emphasis on the history of spaces, buildings, and influential people while also showing the direction Dallas is taking today and into the future. Rebecca is a wealth of knowledge, and the tour was a highlight of our trip.
I had a ten hour layover in Dallas between flights so arranged this tour. I did the tour with Erin who was really helpful in allowing me to time the tour to best suit my schedule. Erin was really knowledgeable about the city and had loads of great facts and background information on the sights we saw. We fitted in lots of stops in my three hours and Erin was really flexible in allowing a bit more time at places of interest and in stopping when I asked to let me take photos. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a more personal tour of the city. Erin was a great guide, really friendly and helpful and I'll be signing up for the Fort Worth tour on my next stopover!.
Our party of 3 took 3 tours with Erin as our guide. We are so glad we did this, as we really got a lot out of it, much more than we would have got on our own. Erin was super, even having water in the vehicle for us, suggesting places to eat and just all round a great wealth of information. Well worth the money. She also takes great photos for you!
Unfortunately we were only in Dallas for 2 nights so wanted to get a feeling of the place. Rebecca certainly gave us that. Rebecca was very informative and passionate about her city. She also recommended a brilliant restaurant which was excellent and within walking distance of our Downtown Hotel. We also visited Southfork Ranch which was good fun. I would definitely recommend this company. Hopefully when we go back we will also visit Fort Worth and Rebecca will be our first port of call.
Erin gave me 3-hour tour of Dallas' highlight tour including places it seemed that locals were not aware of. I was amazed at the details she knew along with her knowledge of both the history of the area and building sites. She was extremely personable. She was also very accommodating.
Highly, highly recommend this tour. My 16 year old daughter and I took both the Dallas and Fort Worth tours. Discover Dallas did an amazing job making our tours a fun, RELAXING and entertaining experience. No directions, parking or history to know... they handle it all! Guides customize to you to make the most out of your trip. And do yourself a favor, do the five hour tour, there is sooooo much to see!!! ️
Erin was a wonderful tour guide! My group was interested in everything Erin shared. She was very knowledgeable about the Dallas area and the history of the city. The group got great photos because Erin took them to the best spots for that! I will use Discover Dallas Tours again for any future groups in the area.
This was one of the best tours we've been on, Erin was a wealth of information and knew a lot that she showed and shared with us! Lots of facts and figures, clean luxury vehicle, many suggestions of where to go later.
This is the perfect tour if you’re new to the area or have out of town guests. My Mom and Sister were visiting from California and Erin and Rebecca ensured our tour was personalized. Erin is very knowledgeable and shared just enough information along the tour to keep it interesting and fun. This is by far the tour company. As big or small as you need. Second tour with them and it won’t be the last.
We only had a few days in Dallas and taking an extended five hours tour with Erin was the best decision for our family! She picked us up at our hotel and brought us back at the end. We covered numerous parts of town. She knew all the fun details and shared a wealth of information, we learned a lot and connected with the city. She even offered to take our family photos. So glad we selected Discover Dallas Tours. Highly recommend this privately owned business by Rebecca.
Touring through Highland Park and taking in the holiday lights with clients and friends. The tour was exceptional pinpointing homes with history, lights and we were able to get off the bus to take personal photos
Discover Dallas was an excellent experience. Rebecca, the owner, personally gave the tour herself, but I got the feeling that all of the guides she works with are wonderful. It is the perfect way to learn about a city that many just pass through for work or in transit, but that has a fascinating history! In the planning stages, Rebecca was responsive, and was able to accommodate a tour request with just a week's notice. She works with many of the best hotels in Dallas as their preferred tour company for upscale tours, and I can see why. Highly recommend!
Rebecca is a fabulous tour guide- we hit all the major areas and she gave us a well-rounded tour of the city, some history, arts, business and basic information about Dallas. She is thoughtful and well informed. We enjoyed it and learned a lot.
We spent about 5 hours with Rebecca touring Dallas and learned so much. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She shared so much history about Dallas and took us to many areas of the city. She also gave information about many of the city’s pending projects and plans for development. She was patient to stop for photos. We enjoyed the time with her so much that we called and asked for a night tour to see the buildings lit up. It was great and we were able to see so many more parks, lobbies, art, museums and historical places than we could have seen or known about on our own.
We live outside of Dallas but wanted to know more about historical downtown. Erin was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of telling us about the history of the area. It was an enjoyable three hour tour. On this tour you will see things that you didn’t even know existed in the downtown area. We are going to book another tour with Erin to visit Dallas Fort Worth next year. I highly recommend this tour company and especially Erin as a tour guide.
Rebecca was an excellent tourist guide. She was friendly and ready to accommodate my schedule when I was at Dallas. I will definitely recommend Discover Dallas Tours to anyone!
Our favorite part was not being with a crowd of people. Our tour guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable of the city and it’s history. Had a great time. Thanks
Our tour guide Rebecca gave interesting tidbits about Dallas sights. Somethings were like she had an inside tip about the who, what and why about things. Our family reunion group enjoyed the laid back atmosphere while taking in the sights. It was so fascinating to hear the different stories about the sights we saw. It was a great way to spend the morning with family.
Rebecca was great. Knew so so much. Recommend contacting her first when coming to visit, she will set you up to see the best places.
Booked with Discover Dallas for my family reunion. Folks from Cali, GA, Louisiana, IL, all found something they loved about the tour. Rebecca is easy to work with and made everything work smoothly!
This was such a great tour! I am moving to Dallas in a few months, and this tour provided an amazing "lay of the land." Now I really feel like I have an understanding of Dallas neighborhoods and history and I can't wait for my move :)
Erin was so fun and informative. My 12,14 year olds were so engaged, Erin had a difficult time telling us all about the city over their excitement. I found out Dallas is a vibrant, clean, active city. And Highland Park was so beautiful it could fit right into California (except for the rain). Please take a tour with these guys, especially if you want to learn all about the Dallas area, and have a great experience.
My husband and I really enjoyed this Private Dallas Highlights Tour. It truly was the highlight of our vacation in Dallas. We particularly enjoyed learning about the events surrounding JFK assassination. Erin's accounts were detailed and to the point. I felt as though we lived through that fateful day in Dallas almost 6 decades ago.
My nephew & his girlfriend visited Dallas & Erin was our tour guide! As Erin took us to the great Dallas sites she taught us about its history, art, sports teams, culture, famous residents & their homes, buildings & many other things. She had great stories & we really enjoyed ourselves. She also provided excellent photo opts & we have great pics to frame & show our friends & family! Erin did an exceptionally great job & I highly recommend Discover Dallas & look forward to going on more of their tours!!
We really enjoyed our tour today A had the Dallas highlight and 1 extra jfk tour - we had to cancel this 1.5 yrs ago bc of a health problem - they were great to work with - no extra charges or problems- Rebecca was very knowledgeable, learned a lot - she knew where to stop for bathroom breaks - would definitely do again
Such a great time! Erin was so knowledgeable, and ensured we did not miss anything...what a fabulous introduction to a City we just moved to. We left with a full page of things to do later. We enjoyed the fact that the tour was private and catered to us, made it feel very intimate and family like. Highly recommend it!
The tour was excellent. We were especially impressed by Erin’s knowledge of all the historical sites.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Dallas tour. She was so knowledgeable about the city, its history and the future building projects. It was perfect for us who are new transplants to Dallas to see the sites and I was able to make a list of all of the places to take visitors when they come visit us. Thank You!
When planning our Texas trip, Rebecca offered a two-day package to encompass Dallas and Fort Worth sights. I was very pleased with the breadth of information covered from historical events to sporting arenas. Although we were saddened by the downtown damage, especially the Deep Ellum neighborhood, we enjoyed our time in the two cities. We liked the personal tour and appreciated the water provided. Photos of the family were taken by our tour guide, Erin. Unfortunately, some of our pictures, specifically the ones inside the JFK Memorial, were "missing" when we got home. Double check that your phone/camera is actually recording your trip.
This is the 2nd time I have booked with Discover Dallas Tours and it was even better the 2nd time around. Rebecca was great to communicate with and made our 3 hour tour so memorable. She listens to your interests and ensures the tour meets your demands. We loved her personal stories and you can tell she just loves all things Texas! The bottles of water and excellent meeting point were nice touches.
Our company of approx 20 employees hired Discover Dallas for our fun teambuilding event and they made everything so easy! Rebecca was an absolute joy to work with, and took care of everything that we asked. She was very patient with all of our requests and questions and made a great tour guide! Our group was a little rowdy, but she was still able to teach us about the history of Dallas as well as the cool things that are coming up. A great tour to learn about the history of DFW.
Rebecca listened to everything we told her we'd like to see and made great recommendations to add to it. She helped us customize our tour. Erin, our tour guide, was perfect. She was so full of interesting stories and facts about everything Dallas. There wasn't one question she couldn't answer. It was by far the best tour I've ever been on. Even if you're from Dallas, Erin will tell you something you had no idea about. I would highly recommend it and will do it again just for fun.
Easy to schedule, tour guide was great and knowledgeable and made sure we had fun and tailored it to our needs !
Our hotel Hyatt Regency recommend this tour company. The 5 hour tour was truly amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. My wife and I enjoyed the tour because our guide was pleasant and explained lots of details about Dallas and JFK that we never knew. Highly recommend the 5 hour private tour. It’s worth every penny. If you visit Dallas use this tour company.
