I do not recommend this combination tour. It is not worth 175,00 a person . The highlights of Dallas could have been more informative, the Southfork tour, was terrible. We were rushed through , not a lot of information given

Perhaps the genesis of Dallas as a small trading post in 1841 seems incredulous as one now looks on one of the most beautiful cities in the US. Sights seen include: Founders Plaza, Old Red Court House, John Neely Bryan Cabin, JFK Memorial, Pioneer Plaza (largest bronze collection in the world), Dallas City Hall (designed by I.M. Old Red Court House The Dallas County Courthouse, built in 1892 of red sandstone with rusticated marble accents, is a historic governmental building located at 100 South Houston Street in Dallas, Texas. Texans have always believed that they live “larger-than-life,” and where else is that so clearly lived out than at the infamous Southfork Ranch? Make-believe, some say? For 13 years (356 episodes), this made-for-TV drama captured the imaginations of millions of people around the world. As one of the longest running series in U.S. television history, guests from across the world are invited to the “most visited White House west of D.C.” Guests may enjoy the museum + shopping the Ranch Round-up at the Visitor’s Center where they can buy Southfork Ranch gifts and Texas memorabilia. Additional items of interest are: Prop gun used to frame the well-known question, “who shot JR?”; Lucy’s wedding dress; Video clips from episodes; and interviews with “stars” of the show. From the Visitor’s Center, guests may take a train ride past the Ewing Oil Office to the Ewing mansion, visit J.R.’s bedroom, explore the grounds + shop at Lincoln’s & Longhorns, where Jock’s 1978 Lincoln is on display.

Our tour guide Tim Hamilton was amazing, so informative & friendly . Foundation of knowledge went out way to take us to extra little places not on tour as we time. Would highly recommend him to family and friends. Fantastic tour . Had a fantastic morning exploring Dallas and SF Ranch. Offered plenty of cold water which was needed on this hot Texas day. Thank you Tim
brilliant experience and kenny our guide very informative
The guide was very knowledgeable. He was a walking encyclopedia about South Fork and the TV show Dallas. It was a wonderful experience
Combination of JFK and South Fork is great! Preston is a wealth of information. So engaging and interesting!
Daniel provided a great JFK tour and pointed out the police station where Lee Harvey Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby. That was a nice highlight for me. Fun tour of Southfork. Dan saved the day when he unlocked the door to garage where the Lincoln Continental was stored used in the Dallas TV show. Dan provided some recommendations to visit museums around Dallas. Overall, I had a great experience since it was my first time in Dallas visiting from southern California. Best time ever. Thanks, Robert Sandoval
This was a great tour as it brought back lots of memories from the 80s with the Dallas tv show Our tour guide and driver Dan was excellent and so informative, especially on the JFK assassination as we left Dallas. Highly recommend taking this tour.
Great experience, exactly what was promised when booked. 3hrs and 30 mins long. We had a great tour guide Orlando who was very informative about Dallas and its history. He gave us photo opportunity for Southfork too. A very careful driver as well.
We had the best time! Our tour guide, Dan, was impressive with his knowledge and made sure we enjoyed everything. He was knowledgeable, witty and even took our family photos as key spots. This was my birthday gift for my special needs brother and Dan did a great job keeping him included in the entire day. My ❤️ is full!
We had Orlando who was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable and loved his playlist that went along with the info he was telling. Would highly recommend requesting him for your next tour in Dallas!
Dan was very informative, accommodating, and went above and beyond offering to take pictures of us at South Fork. It was an enjoyable tour!
Dan was an excellent tour guide. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the JKF part of the tour. He’s also very enthusiastic about the history of Southfork/Dallas and ensures you get the best picture opportunities!
Great day out, our guide William was excellent, taking time to talk about the history of Dallas and the JFK assassination and then to Southfork
I did Southfork/Dallas highlights tour on November 19 with Dan. He did such a great job. He got out of van at every stop along the way and took photos of us for us. He walked around at Southfork looking for where to get tickets and check in. Due to construction, it was a confusing process but he stuck with you until he found the location. His efforts were amazing. During the Dallas highlights part of the tour, he asked where each of us was staying and drove by those hotels to tell us the history. My hotel has a haunted history which he shared. It was very interesting. I feel like he went above and beyond to give us the best experience of each tour. I also did JFK tour with Dan. Again, he got out of van to take photos for us and explained so much it was an amazing tour. We went to all locations involved including Oswald Rooming House, JD Tippit shooting location, Oswald's Apartment and of course, Dealey Plaza and 6th floor museum.
Trip up to Southfork which was ok if your a Dallas fan and some basic city information from our driver. The trip was shorter than advertised and the city tour seemed non existent I expected a bit more.
Orlando was quite knowledgeable about Dallas, the show and the city. He shared a lot of fun facts about Dallas and other soap operas of the 80s and 90s. The tour of South Fork itself was iconic.
Moving experience at JFK memorial . Dallas a bit of fun nostalgia. VERY knowledgeable driver/guide...very enjoyable few hours
Our guide Dan was outstanding from start to finish. His knowledge was incredible. He gave us so much information about the trip the area and so much more. He gave us time, was patient and nothing seemed to be any trouble to him. Southfolk ranch was superb, it brought back so many memories of what we watched from years ago. To walk around the house and grounds was amazing. This trip shouldn’t be missed especially if you are lucky enough to have Dan as your guide.
Dan was an amazing tour guide. His knowledge of the Kennedy Assassination and all the other interesting history tied to the event definitely left us in awe! We had a wonderful time listening to Dan tell us all the interesting facts related to the history of Texas and how these two events reshaped the state as well as the country. Will definitely recommend this tour others.
Our combination South Fork Ranch-Downtown Dallas tour was amazing, and our tour guide Isaac was the main reason. He had interesting tidbits about all the areas of the city. Our tour actually started before we even boarded the bus! Because we met at the JFK memorial, Isaac was able to share information about the meaning behind the unique design of the structure as well as inform us about Founder’s Plaza and Old Red before we even boarded. On the bus, we went through Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts District, and more. We got dropped off for our South Fork tour which revealed behind the scenes magic of the iconic Dallas TV program before resuming our downtown tour. But the unexpected high point of the tour was seeing the location of and hearing theories surrounding the death of President Kennedy. Isaac did a great job of sharing what different sides have claimed through the years and letting listeners make up their own minds. I highly recommend this tour!
William presented fantastic commentary in an engaging and humurous style. His knowledge regarding the founding and growth of dallas, along with the assassination of JFK was both detailed and interesting. Glad we made this choice.
Fantastic Had to pinch myself several times remembering the original series in the 1980’s. Nostalgia. Loved the tour. Thank you
We had an excellent time. Dan our tour guide did a super job. Very knowledgeable on the subject. Would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide was Dan and he was amazing. His knowledge was exemplary and he explained the background and history behind all the tour highlights. He gave a great perspective on the pre and post JFK assassination giving a broader understanding of the impact at this significant moment in world history. Dan is not only knowledgeable he is articulate and friendly and we had a fantastic day.
That this event is marvelous!!! and interesting.👍the ranch was also exciting Always Love the movie Dallas!!!
Great tour and big help from Dan! He really seems to love what he does! It was a really fun experience and we got to learn a lot of new facts! Thanks Dan from Héctor & Fabiola from México!
Dan was amazing tour guide. Very good knowledge of Dallas and it's history. Soutfork tour was really worth it. I would very highly recommend it you are interested in Dallas history (specially what happened to JFK 1963 in Dallas) and if you were a big Dallas tv series fan.
I took. Combo tour, fort worth and dallas. Bus is comfortable, the driver covered a lot of history, burn he wasn't trained to cater to non US tour. His whole speech was full of US anecdotes, and as such he didn't make attempts to go beyond the usual crammed speech.
The tour was very informative, and covered a tour of downtown Dallas prior to driving to the ranch. Fun Dallas Tours was very professional & accommodating changing the day of my tour that I couldn’t make due to my flight being cancelled.
Dan was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and pleasant! He's also has lots of knowledge on history and sports. I worked highly recommend taking this type with Dan!
Had a great day with Dan, got the JFK highlights and then went to Southfork ranch. Learned a lot from Dan! Trip size great also and met some great people 👍
Went to South fork which is famous for the tv show Dallas with Dan. He was fantastic and very informative which made the experience a great one. Highly recommend doing the tour with him. Others on the tour from Ireland and Brazil were lovely people. Us 3 Aussies from down under had a great day except we didn't find out who shot JR
We had a great time with William, he is very knowledgeable about Dallas, he is a natural story teller and his passion for its history is evident highly recommended
Preston our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made our tour really enjoyable, despite the torrential rain!
Orlando made the JFK and Southfork Ranch tour interactive and fun. We had an amazing morning . His knowledge of Dallas history was excellent. We felt very comfortable with him and his driving. Would recommend.
We traveled from England to visit south fork and Dallas and it was worth every mile traveled. Dan was our guide and he was excellent at his job. Very informative, helpful and fun. The four hours flew by !!!! Nothing was too much trouble for him.
Our guide was very knowledgeable however we didn’t really see a whole lot. It was mostly listening rather than doing. Also, the guide’s driving was very scary. He was speeding, switching lanes quickly without much caution, he almost hit several cars because he was going too fast. In addition, he illegally drove in between barriers on the highway to get to a different lane because he was too impatient about the traffic. I have never been so fearful of the driving on a tour before.
Absolutely loved our day. Our guide Orlando was so helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our trip so special. I would highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.
A really enjoyable trip (although very rushed at Southfork). Our driver Orlando was superb and can’t be faulted. He had a fantastic knowledge of Dallas having grown up there and his energy and passion really came across. The JFK aspect was interesting including driving the motorcade route JFK took. Orlando played music and audio clips related to the TV series Dallas and that really built the hype of driving out to the ranch. On arrival we were given time to take photos of the ranch from a distance and Orlando helped take photos for us folk travelling alone. Going to Southfork was really great, but feeling rushed wasn’t. We had an initial 20 mins or so to browse the gift show, and then onto the guided tour of the house. Constructive feedback being that the tour time just wasn’t long enough. We literally had like 1:30hr from drop off; and given the tour guide at Southfork was so SLOW and animated, it felt it took double the time. From finishing the guided tour we had 15 mins to make it back to the bus. I bridled managed to see Jock Ewings famous Lincoln continental, but as for strolling the other out houses or soaking up the site, it just wasn’t possible. Not Orlando’s fault but that bit felt unfair. However being balanced it was good value for money and saved me having to drive out there myself. But if you are going - top tip is a let the house guide know you don’t have much time as did we, when we became trapped in the lobby of the house towards the end of the tour while the irritating host unnecessarily fussed some random toddler. I would have also wanted more time to explore this museum but again this wasn’t possible. The Southfork team also didn’t make it clear when you could go into the museum ahead of the house tour. Again not Orlando’s fault, but it sours reflect on the experience… but overall still very good and would still recommend..
Entire tour was fantastic! Best part was Dan, our tour guide, who was the most charismatic and knowledgeable guide we’ve had in several city excursions. Thank you Dan for making our day memorable!
My most memorable thing from our tour was the fact that Preston was very knowledgeable about everything on our tour. He was kind and the group that went with me was extremely pleased with him as our tour guide. I will request him in the future!
Dan was very knowledgeable about Dallas and Southfork. Great guide! Very detailed! History of Dallas and Kennedy assassination was fantastic!
Tour provided a safe and convenient way to see the main points of interest. Driver was full of useful information.
Dallas tour was very good. William was very entertaining and knowledgeable about Dallas. Southfork tour cancelled with little notice. Very very disappointed with that. No alternative offered
I’m a Dallas fan and this was a truly amazing way to feel close to the show and the actors the guide at the house was very informative
The guide was a true professional. Everything was very well organized. I fondly remembered so many scenes from the series visiting the exterior and interior of the farm. I highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide, Dan, is a personable and intelligent expert on Dallas history which was a bonus on our way to Southfork! He texted us to arrive early due to traffic, and after the tour, which was fun and nostalgic, took pictures of us in front of the iconic landmarks at the property. What a fun way to end my trip to Dallas! Thanks, Dan, for an extra good time:)
A fantastic day all round and Preston our tour guide was absolutely amazing, his knowledge, personality and passion for his job is second to none.
The driver was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Dallas. Orlando knows his way around very well and is proud of his home. We enjoyed his musical soundtracks.
If you watched the show Dallas growing up, this tour is lots of fun. It is a walk down memory lane!
