It was a great experience but I expected it to be a tour and a sample of each of the meals . I did not know that I only received a $20 voucher or I would ah e ate somewhere else . I also thought I would be able to get line dance instructions BEFORE each dance . It was more for locals than me . I couldn’t find where to take the picture because I sat where house band played . I also had to carry my own food and there was only a waitress for drinks . It should be the opposite. It would ah e been great if I had an actual tour guide but being solo, I felt out of place . Everyone knew the dances and in Philadelphia, they teach each dance BEFORE so everyone can participate. I’m a quick learner and would have had fun if it was done differently.
Its not all honky talk and country music. There was a concert going on the opposite side of the main platform and was not what we had gone there for. It lasted over two and a half hours and the country band that was playing was too late for them to come back on stage
Billy Bobs and the Stockhouse is a must see if traveling to the Fort Worth/Dallas area. The voucher covers the $4.00 entry fee, a free picture on a fake bill, and $20 for food. Billy Bobs has tons of fun things to do and is massive. You could not get this tour/voucher and would be money ahead as I calculated It costs me $50 for what I could have paid $36 for without the voucher.
Super fun, we ate, dance and had a blast My 8 year old enjoy the dance with all of us and the pictures were fun
Great staff Shout out to Emanual cleaning up the back alley... Helped me with my disabled mom.... Tried to tip him for his assistance he refused the money... A very kind friendly gentleman... Thank you Emanual
Amazing night at Billy Bobs 🥰food was great music was awesome and the line dancing very enjoyable ❤️the live band was great to listen to had everyone up dancing 💕
Had trouble getting in because our tickets were not there. The guide did eventually find us and apologized for the error. Also wish there was more dance lessons besides the one. Food was very good.
Stockyard, lots to do, enjoyed Billy Bob's BBQ Texas Live, good food Texas Ranger ballgame South Fork Ranch JFK & Bush museum
We purchased a package that included entry to Billy Bob’s on a weekend with a concert, meal voucher, ticket to the rodeo, koozie and a pic on fake bull. It was a decent value and included all the things I wanted to share with my nephew. We arrived early in the evening (6:30pm) and found great free parking near the venue. We had barbecue sandwiches with fries which were very tasty! The rodeo was 5 bull riders and lasted about 30 minutes. There was a second round show at 9:30pm but the stands were full and excitement high for the young riders though none of them lasted the full 8 seconds. We also took a pic as if we were bull riders and they turned out great!! A fun remembrance of the evening. We left around 9ish before the band started and only a few people dancing. There were hundreds of people in line to get in and I’m sure the place was jump in’ by midnight!! It’s a special place and an experience unique to Ft Worth!!
Went with a large group of friends and our girlfriends wanted to take photos of riding the bull. As they were taking the photo that THEY PAID FOR a lady asked us to move. We did and moved further down but wanted to be close to our girlfriends since the bar was EXTREMELY PACKED AND we already had other older creepy guys hitting on them. The lady didn't like that apparently and had security kick us out. We asked security why they were kicking us out and they had no idea. We told them we need to tell our girlfriends that we were made to leave and said nope get the hell out. Another woman employee threatened us when we were trying to go to the ticket office to get a refund AFTER THE SECURITY OFFICER TOLD US TO GO THERE TO GET A REFUND. Luckily, we weren't holding our girlfriends' phones and we were able to call them to tell them to leave with us. WILL NEVER BE BACK. WAY TOO CROWDED AND THE STAFF GIVES ZERO CARE ABOUT THEIR PATRONS. WE FOLLOWED ALL DIRECTIONS THEY GAVE US. I spent over $300 dollars between drinks and tickets and would rather go anywhere else than this shady establishment.
So much fun! We prepaid a package through Viator. Easy easy. Billy Bob's was awesome♥️ Music, dancing, food and we topped it off with shopping and a picture on the bull!
This was a nice package and the staff were great. The photo. With bull was fun and we enjoyed site seeing, the food was good but not much of a selection. Half of the place was roped off, we went during the lunch on a Tuesday, would recommend going later in day
Visiting the area for business, I got stood up by two jetlagged colleagues on a Saturday night and still had a blast! The staff were very friendly and Angela, our server, went above and beyond and found a couple of other travellers to share a drink with! I don't dance, and don't know country, but the atmosphere really peaked when the live bands arrived around 8 pm. I saw my first rodeo, and you could see the riders and the beasts respected each other. The younger folk arrived around 10 pm, and everyone was in good spirits for the night.
Our bartender was very rude; acted like he didn't wanna be there. The whole venue was not open. Just overrated. The line dancing was cool to watch.
The biggest honky tonk venue in the USA didn’t disappoint. From bars to live bands and dancing there was a good vibe. We had a great meal with plenty of choice also included in the price a complementary commemorative photo. The event was finished with bull riding which was very exciting to watch!
We arrived to find you sold me an event that was expensive only to find out they don’t do anything on Mondays. I expect a refunding asap. We spoke with a Savannah who was confused as to why you sold me this package. I expect a full refund. Please reach out to me to let me know when I can expect this refund. Deborah Hillin
No need to pre book restaurant for dinner and line dancing lessons are free every Wednesday night for anyone who wants to attend although too many dancers on the floor and instructions difficult to follow. Buying Viator voucher unnecessary for this venue.
We were asked to leave early as there was a concert on This was a gift off our daughter and it was totally spoilt everywhere was sectioned off no music nothing to do as all prep was been given to what was happening on night they should of let viater know as my daughters gift was not fully given us the experience promised
Disappointing. We booked a dinner and photo package for three people at Billy Bob's, entry by 6pm. However, the kitchen and cafe were closed, I was sent an email at 4.26pm to notify me, which was not received until after we arrived in Fort Worth (having travelled up from Houston especially). Didn't have time to cancel and only in town for the day. The venue offered up 40th anniversary book instead; reception actually said we would get freebies to compensate for our troubles (I assumed this was the book) but no refunds were offered for the loss of the $20.00 dinner voucher per person purchased as part of the package booked and which we then had to pay for dinner elsewhere. We did get a photo taken and did join in the line dancing lessons which was fun, although it was pretty quiet overall. We could have paid a minimal entry fee and for the photo separately to have had the same experience for less cost. Having been to Billy Bob's before with clients and colleagues, I wanted to show my daughters who are travelling the spectacle and true experience of Texan hospitality! Sadly not what we hoped for and not value for money this time around.
Fun place good people Trump 2024!!! Great atmosphere . Fun place for some team building after a day of team building will definitely be back
The dinner was disappointing, ribs for both who ordered were way to spicy to eat, so they were left, baked potatoes were only partially cooked so they were left, green beans way to salty. Male bar tender was not friendly, rather rude.Brisket was good. Music was good
Went for New Year's Eve and there was way to many young kids. Billy Bob's is a bar and kids shouldn't be in bars.
Really good night - friendly atmosphere and loads to do - but not for kids and mine were teens! $20pp at the cafe ideal and we had loads of food
Brilliant. If you want to experience the full Texas vibe this is the place to go. We got there late and they didn’t charge us entry. The line dancing was fun to watch, the beer was cold and the staff super friendly. There is also a fabulous gift shop inside. Highly recommend.
I’ve been to Billy Bob’s on a previous business trip and had to return! So much fun! Dancing, play pool, good drinks, great friends!
I visited this place a few years ago and had fond memories. But unfortunately, this place has become a tourist trap. To the point that they now charge $3.00 just enter this place when there is not a concert. Upon entering they overcharge for dinks.
Entry was free if we had been rodeo so pleased about that. This place is seriously huge with loads bars and fast food outlets. Bar prices not at all expensive and the food fast and of a reasonable price and satisfying. Staff welcoming and helpful. There was a band on last night who were absolutely brilliant and more than rival anything we’ve seen in Nashville bars. Highly recommend this place and appeals to wide audience age,
The Photo Booth was a waste of time. Rude employees. T shirts were not sized for our group. No interest at reception in welcoming us, answering questions. Food is a joke—pizza and barbecue. Mechanical bull out of service. Really disappointing. There is much better in Ft Worth.
Billy Bob's is in Fort Worth, not Dallas. Shame on you! What else can I say? Fort Worth and Dallas are two different cities. No cowboys in Dallas. Billy Bob's is great, but their cafe's wait times aren't worth it. During the daytime there is only one bar open, long lines.
We had a great time! live entertainment and the best people watching in the USA! Food was amazing, place is so big you can go area to area and experience a whole different theme
Worth buying your tickets ahead of time. It made everything smooth. I recommend going Wednesday before 6pm to get your food and then stay for ladies night.
Being around so many people having so much fun. The bull riding was great and the photo experience was audience interactive
We really enjoyed the photo experience and the music at Billy’s Bob. But, I was disappointed with meal there. It was not what I was expecting compared to the food at other restaurants in the immediate area.
McKayla and Renee where awesome they work there in security or something they were so friendly talk to us about the history of the place great people
What an absolute nightmare. The "club manager" (whatever that means) Josh, decided to flashlight his "ID" to let us know that we couldnt be near the mens bathroom. After being herded out like cattle by the big large rude security woman, and told that I was no longer welcome I got grabbed aggressivly and shoved out the employee door. The manager josh told me and two other women we were "disgusting" because we chose to use Purell instead of the sink. He proceeded to tell us we were "butch me-two-ers" because we used a solo stall designated for men that wasn't occupied. SO unless you want your night ruined and integrity questioned I wouldnt come here. Josh, im so sorry your manhood is so questionable that you need to attack women, but dont worry I won't be back.
Visited Billy Bob’s on a Sunday afternoon since I was curious to see the biggest honky tonk. Not very busy. Bar food was ok. Not bad, not great. Need to pay a cover charge just for the pleasure of listening to a juke box. Did have some interesting hand print molds on the walls. To be fair, it has to be better when they have live music.
The venue is fantastic, lots to see , Rodeo , The dance floor was full and such a great energy and atmosphere. We also saw Billy Currington in Concert which was amazing!! Love this place!!!
Loving the energetic area, so much to do or walk around! Food was delicious, I order sweet potato fries/beans/ibs & sausages, yummy... Did some games, riding bull portrait. Saw people having fun dance learning lessons!!
This is a place unlike I've ever been before coming from the UK. Texas country dancing was very popular and they also have live music acts, food stalls, bars, snooker tables - you name it. A fantastic experience for a night out, full of energy and vibrancy. Loved it, and so unlike anything I've been to for a nightout before.
We love it.We go every Frid & Sat, we play pool & sometimes we go to the stockysyard walk down there from Billy Bob's.We dance down there also.We are the best dancers.Everyone love the way we dance, alot of people run up to us and tell us they love us.They love to watch us.We dont dance like other people do.We are that good.so maybe one day u will see us dance.See y'all some day,
You have to see this place to believe it. It is huge. Drinks a reasonably priced and there’s hardly any queuing at the bar. I’d say it’s impossible not to enjoy yourself at Billy Bobs. A must for everyone visiting FW.
Regardless of what you think about Billy Bobs, visiting is an experience. It is a club/bar with an eating area. We came specifically for lunch and hubby was surprised that his chicken fried chicken was delicious. We paid to get in and the fee was deducted from the food total. I had a burger which was huge. When you walk around and see all the people that have played there, the sheer size of the areas in which the bands play, the number of bars and the guitar wall you realize this is nothing like this is your home town. We were there midday, midweek and there were still people line dancing on the dance floor. We parked across the street although it started pouring so we got soaked leaving. You have to go there.
Pickin For Preemies is an annual benefit for Cook Children's Hospital. Billy Bob's hosted a lovely event and our family enjoyed it immensely. Thank you to the staff for doing such an excellent job making everyone feel welcomed.
We visited with family on a quiet afternoon. There was nothing going at that time. We had a beer, shot some pool and walked around the entire place taking pictures and reminiscing. Yes, they still have rodeos there and they have regular concerts with some good ole' country dancing. This place is huge with bars, food, pool and a mechanical bull.
Casual atmosphere in one of the largest entertainment areas I’ve ever seen! There is a lot to look at so enjoy the band and/or Rodeo at night (usually weekends) and come back during a quiet time to look around.
We visited Billy Bob's on a Wednesday night so we didn't get to enjoy the rodeo which is only on the weekends but it was a fun visit anyway. My husband and I have been country and line dancing for many years and have gotten to dance at some of the best dance halls in the states, so we were looking forward to dancing at the famed Billy Bob's Honkey Tonk. The dance floor was crowded for the line dance instruction and the line dance instructor did a great job of keeping things simple and easy for people to follow along with. The band was good and the atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. It was a fun and interesting experience although I was surprised at how few people stayed to dance after the lesson. Maybe different on the weekends?? All in all though, a great way to round out the "Fort Worth" experience. We would definitely go back again.
I can recommend the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. We came for some barbecue at lunch on Tuesday, but what really made an impression was the kindness we received. We walked from the stockyard railroad station to Billy Bob's and my 81 year old mother became so exhausted, she couldn't walk any more. When we explained the problem to the staff, Chris Fersch, the culinary director and executive chef personally made sure I could pull my car up to the building so she wouldn't have to walk any farther than necessary. He also personally escorted her out, letting her lean on his arm. The food was good, but the service was above and beyond what we expected. Thank you again, Chris!
We asked the night desk person at the hotel to give us the one thing we had to do in Fort Worth if we could only do one thing. She told us Billy Bobs. It was fun! We had teens who enjoyed playing pool. They were a little upset they couldn’t wander without an adult. We had littles who had fun too. We went to eat dinner and ended up having to buy tickets to get in because there was a concert. The food was good. The crowd was plenty. The music was good and the service was good. It was an experience and everyone had fun. It was a bit confusing, it’s not a restaurant, it’s a bar/club with an eating area.
Let’s be real - if you are going to Billy Bob’s, you are looking for one of these things: 1) Beer, 2) Music, 3) a cowboy, or 4) something in a short jean skirt and boots. Saturday nights are a fun mix of locals and tourists, cowboy hats and Hawaiian shirts, and even families of all ages. Everyone is having a good time, the beer is flowing, music is playing, life is good. If you’re not having a good time, you’re not doing it right.
