Had so much fun on our tour with Jess! She is so knowledgeable about Austin history and current events. We greatly enjoyed each stop along the way. Amazing tacos and churros. Also ordered a few drinks. She had excellent recommendations for things to try during the remainder of our visit. We would definitely do another tour next time we’re in town.

The Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin, Texas is home to the largest urban bat colony in North America, with over 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats. Every evening from March to November, the bats emerge from under the bridge to hunt for insects, creating a breathtaking sight as they swirl and soar across the Austin sky. We will pass by the bridge and discuss its importance to the people of Austin

Every taco was delicious. Our guide, Jess was interesting, friendly, and knowledgeable about everything Austin. Don’t miss this tour.
Great food! Lots of walking which is perfect since you are eating a lot! Good information about the area. Mike was a great guide and very helpful!
The tour itself was great, enjoyed the different taco experiences. Food was good. The tour as described on the website was different as it started and ended at the same spot.
Our guide was Mike. He was great, he provided the history of Austin, he was friendly, outgoing and the places he selected for our tour was fantastic!!
Plenty of great food. Our tour guide Mike gave a good review of Austin. Glad we booked this one. Highly recommend.
I really appreciated the Austin history through the tour. great guide, definitely take their recommendations! I never would have discovered some of these places on my own. 10/10
The guide was fantastic. The group was supposed to be small - around 4 and that morning he got informed he would having 12. He made it work (much to his credit and hard work with the restaurants) but it makes me question booking again with Viator.
Mike was so informative, easy to listen to & friendly. The choices of different tacos were great. It was like being guided around with a friend.
Come hungry! Had a great time eating my way through town with Lynx. He was super engaging, knows Texas history extremely well, and helped me develop a new appreciation for Austin through great food and sights. This was a wonderful way to spend the day.
Laid back fun a good time more than enough food, tour guide was cordial and a gent, taco places where food choice - good value also
I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Austin’s taco culture. Mike’s picks were excellent, and I had a great variety of tacos based on his recommendations. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Even though it rained the whole tour Mike took us around Austin in the van and gave us a great cultural tour too while eating amazing tacos.
Mike made the BEST of a dumping rainy day!! Great tour…great tacos…good stories and conversation. We didn’t walk but had a van to ride in due to the flooding and it all worked out great.
Our tour host, Bill was very knowledgeable of the city and made the experience alot of fun. Each of the taco establishments had their own uniqueness to it, which we appreciated. He made accommodations for us and took us to a few more scenic places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Highly recommend the Austin Taco food tour!
We enjoyed our tour with Lynx. He met us with water bottles and shared lots of interesting information about Austin, history, music, film, urban growth, and of course good food. It was a great way to meet Austin’s food scene.
Bill is a great guide. Knowledgeable about Austin social culture and scene. He was funny, engaging and informative.
Our guide was wonderful, lots of fun history and facts about Austin and the buildings we passed. Tacos were all delicious. Each restaurant was different and so good.
I was the only one on the tour, so my guide Owen and I could just talk about whatever. We talked a lot about Austin/Texas history and culture, and we went and got food from a lot of places in Austin I had never seen. Great perspective on a great city.
I was looking for something fun to do when my friend came into town, and this ended up being perfect for us both. Our tour guide Owen was amazing- knowledgeable, kind, funny and made the experience well worth it. The walk was easy going, stops were fun and food was amazing.
This tour was great - Owen did a great job, took things at our pace, and told us a lot about the history of Austin during our tour. We not only got to try out some different tacos, but we also got to stop at some unique spots and hear the history behind them. Despite the unexpectedly cold weather, we are very glad to have spent time in this tour. Would recommend.
Tasty tacos; interesting history. Best tacos - first stop. Potentially avoid heat of day during hot summer months.
Mike gave us a great tour of the area. We had fantastic stops. We enjoyed Taco One. When all of a sudden we were faced with extreme weather, Mike was quick to get us under cover and made the appropriate choices.
Mike was fun and knew some great places to grab very tasty bites. The walk was not difficult in any way
G was an excellent guide and host. It was a beauty day and a fun tour. Saw a side of Austin that was really nice! Thanks for everything!!!
The taco locations were all very good and ending the tour at Voodoo Donut was definitely the icing on the cake!! Super fun way to see and experience the city.
Thanks for sending this survey. Just wanted to share that our confirmed paperwork stated that we should arrive at a particular location. Upon arrival and after parking, the tour guide (Mike) texted that we should meet at a different location ... that was 15 minutes away. We had arrived at the requested time, but then due to the change of addresses, we were late and it caused a great deal of stress. We would have appreciated a more coordinated process b/w the company and the tour guide. Additionally, our tour guide provided us only a high-level overview of the city but he didn't give us a thorough knowledge of Austin. We just expected more information, not just his preferences. Nice guy, very personable, but just not interested in his personal perspective. Thanks.
We had a great time with Mike, our guide, who gave us a great tour of Downtown Austin on our first day in town. He gave us some great stories of Austin's history, as well as filled us on present day Austin, telling us stories behind the murals, the Bats, SXSW and the architecture. He was friendly, knowledgeable and lucky for us, we had him all to ourselves that day! Mike's hospitality was top notch and he was excited about his job and happy to share his passion for people, Austin and food! The variety of places we stopped were so good! They were in different areas of downtown, which gave us a perfect layout of the city so we knew where we wanted to explore the rest of the trip and visit again for a meal. Thank you for a great time and full bellies!
Great taco tour! Mike was knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the tour. Tasty taco spots and a nice sweet surprise at the end!
Mike was an excellent tour guide and introduced me to some great taco spots as well as showing me Austin's sights. I definitely recommend!
The Taco Food Walking Tour was incredible! We had an amazing guide named Gabrielle, very enthusiastic and informative. We would definitely recommend this tour.
