Austin’s Haunted Ghost & Murder Tour

We had so much fun! Jaime is an experienced storyteller and the walk made a lot of sense and nothing ever felt like it dragged!

The guide was great, and the tour was very interesting and informative, but there was nothing "haunted" about it. The tour focuses more on history and murder than haunted ghost tales.

Make multiple stops and bring water. The walk is a little hilly. Make sure you know how your getting back to your car.

Darwin our guide was engaging and a fantastic story teller and I learned a lot about the scary history of Austin even as a native who lives here!! I hope to do this tour again someday.

Overall, I enjoyed the ghost hunting tour! It was very informative, and I learned a lot about Austin’s history, which I found fascinating. However, I was hoping for a little more of a spooky, hands-on experience, such as actually visiting some of the locations said to be haunted. The tour felt more like a historical walking tour with ghost stories rather than an actual ghost hunting experience. While I appreciated the history and storytelling, I would have loved a little more exploring and a few ghostly thrills along the way!

I’m from California and didn’t know much about Austin’s history. My boyfriend and I came to visit for a few days during Halloween weekend and wanted to learn about the area. Jaime, our tour guide, was fantastic and very informative! I really enjoyed learning about Austin’s spooky past! Definitely worth it!

Jaime was a lovely story teller. We walked up a slight incline for most of the tour. Learning about some macabre history was very entertaining!

Jamie is a really awesome tour guide with great ability to tell a story. Got to have long conversations with him and he’s very fun to talk to.

Do not hesitate to book this tour! Jamie was such a great guide, so knowledgable and fun. My sister and I live in ATX, but our parents were in town and we wanted to do something new with them. They loved it, and it was so cool to learn about the spooky history of Austin. We will definitely be taking Jamie's tour again the next time people are in town!!

Nice way to end our trip in Austin. Favorite part of the trip was exploring The Tavern. My brother in law and I did feel a weird energy when we went up to the second floor and actually felt a little dizzy.

I went in not knowing what to expect and had the best time! Jamie was an excellent tour guide and I learned things about a city I've lived in for 40 years. Highly recommend for something different and fun

What a great experience! Jamie was fantastic- funny, entertaining, and extremely knowledgeable about the history and Austin in general. I’ve done ghost tours in other cities, and this was by far my favorite one. The historical photos were a nice touch. This is a great thing to do at the start of your trip tool get to know the city a little.

Jamie is a great Guide. Has lots of good knowledge of Austin and ghost tales. Made some great stops, the Capital, Omni hotel, the Tavern. The tour was just under two hours and a good experience for your money. Great communication before hand too. We would recommend.

Darwin was great and a very entertaining guide. There was a parade that we (guide included) didn’t know about down Congress Avenue halfway through the tour, so we had some unscheduled detours, but that just added to the experience.

Jaime was such a great tour guide! He is full of knowledge and honesty very good at story telling! The way he tells stories/info is very captivating and really draws you in! What a wonderful experience so glad we did this tour.

I had a great experience on the walking tour definitely bring water if you go in the hotter months I went in August and was pretty hot so glad I had water. Really enjoyed hearing the history and the tales of Austin’s ghost and murder history! Definitely would do this one again with Darwin! He was awesome!

Darwin said we were his first tour, but you wouldn’t believe it. He did a great job providing grisly and ghostly facts. We burned a lot of calories and learned a lot about the dark side of Austin. It was a great time!

WOW!! I did this type of tour for the first time ever and let me tell you it was an amazinggg experience. I always visit cities and enjoy the views but this tour helped me UNDERSTAND the grounds it was built on WITH a mysterious thriller twist. Jamie our tour guide was great and very thorough with explanations! Will definitely recommend! I also took my 10 year old son and he enjoyed it very very much and no he wasn't scared.

I came to Austin for a few days to look at Real Estate, but one evening I was free and alone and decided to find something to do without spending a lot of money. This tour was perfect! I got to see Austin at night, found out a lot of really interesting facts, met other people, and saw a side of the city that I would’ve never done on my own. Highly recommended!
