This was more interesting than I thought it would be. I had never been in the tunnels previously. Diana was great!
Interesting tour and we learnt a lot about the tunnels and their history. The guide described herself as loud and brash. She was inclined to be a bit OTT when presenting some information. The tour didn't need that because it was fun and the guide was clearly well informed.
Diana was the BEST tour guide I’ve had in a long time! So knowledgeable, funny and engaging! I believe fantastic makes the tour and this one did not disappoint! Tunnels? Who knew? Apparently a lot of people don’t know they exist in downtown Houston! If you’re into architecture and history, this tour should not be skipped! We beat the Houston heat too!
An absolutely fantastic experience – Diana was AMAZING! The Astroville Tunnel Tour was one of the highlights of our time in Houston, and Diana made it truly unforgettable! She was absolutely hilarious, incredibly engaging, and so passionate about what she does. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she brought the history and hidden world of Houston’s underground tunnels to life in such a fun, interesting, and entertaining way. Diana has a real talent for storytelling, keeping everyone captivated while making us laugh throughout the tour. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that passion makes all the difference. We learnt so much while having an absolute blast! If you’re visiting Houston, this tour is a must-do, and if you’re lucky enough to have Diana as your guide, you’re in for a real treat! She deserves all the recognition for making this such a memorable experience. Thank you, Diana, for being such a brilliant guide and making our visit so special. We couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Diana is awesome. Learned so much more than I expected. Really enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Had no idea the tunnels existed.
This is a very interesting view of another side of Houston. I am a local, and my friend is from Mississippi. I worked in downtown for several years and have used our tunnel system a lot. We both learned from Diana! She is very knowledgeable about, not only the tunnel system, but about Houston in general. Highly recommend this tour for visitors and locals alike.
Diana was a very knowledgeable and hospitable guide. Great tour of the Houston tunnels and architecture/history
It was an amazing experience. However, I expected to walk more through the real tunnels. I learned a lot about how the shopping areas and fast‑food restaurants operate underneath those beautiful buildings. Although I enjoyed it, I would have loved to walk through more tunnels like the ones they describe in the tour.
It was very nice indeed. Diana has a lot of energy, she is fun and describes the city in a memorable way
Interesting history lesson. Excellent tour guide in Diana! Would highly recommend Very unique tour!.................................
This was a great tour! We weren't sure what to expect but our guide was great! As she took our small group around she explained the tunnel system, it's history, how it is playing a role in Houston's growth as a city and it was fun! I would have never know any of it existed or how big it turned out to be! Lots of food options to go back to! A great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon and get away from the Houston heat!
Highly recommend! Tour guide Vanessa was cheerful, knowledgeable and interesting! I wish there was a Part 2 of this tour! We only had three people in our group. A friend who lives in Houston joined me, and even he learned a lot and really enjoyed it!
Diana is a great guide! The tour was so interesting and entertaining. I am a native Texan and have lived in Houston for years and I learned so much! It is equally an architectural tour and tunnel tour. Highly recommend!
Diane was amazing! The tour was filled with culture and history Diane was so knowledgeable ! Thank you Will come back to do again
The Tunnel tour was fantastic- our tour guide was great. She sprinkled history facts throughout the tour and told the story of the beautiful architecture that started downtown Houston. Highly recommend.
The tour guide made tour even more enjoyable. The tour was educational.
Great tour. Learn a lot of houston history. The tunnel system was really interesting. I loved the final stop at Chase Bank, beautiful.
Tour was excellent. Our guide was full of knowledge and wit. Definitely found out some hidden treasures within the city.
Amazing and Diana was a great guide.
Our guide was extremely knowledgable. She had a great sense of humor. Loved the history of the buildings tied into Houston. Loved it.
Great tour - air conditioned walks and appreciative in August. Fascinated and learned a lot about Houston and the tunnel system. Diana, the guide, was fabulous and excellent.
The tour was fantastic. We left with a sense of what downtown Houston is all about. We loved the way Diana, our tour guide -who was EXCELLENT, connected what is happening in the tunnels below to what is happening in the buildings above and how it’s all connected to Houston’s history. And as foodies, we appreciated Diana’s recommendations and went right back to the tunnels food hall to eat after :)
Diana, is a wonderful tour guide and this tour is a unique step into the then and now of the downtown and underground area. This is a tour you won’t want to miss! This is my second tour and I look forward to bringing more people along.
Fascinating history of downtown above and below ground. Easy walk for us and our grandkids and all were entertained.
Good experience, the guide was excelent and the trip very interesting.
Fantastic experience of the underground tunnels of Houston. Our guide Diana had fabulous knowledge & took us to some fantastic places (inc. Niel & Mellie Esperson buildings & Chase bank). Learned about how the tunnels come to be & the many yummy looking food places. If we hadn’t done this tour we’d have no idea about these tunnels including how to access them. Would highly recommend.
Had a great experience learning about the history of the Houston downtown tunnel network and exploring part of it. The guide was very knowledgeable about the tunnels and the connected history.
Incredible tour. Our guide Dianna was amazing. Her knowledge of everything on the tour was astounding. Very thorough with some points along the tour that made it quite unique and special. Would definitely do the tour again when family and friends come to visit. A must see in Houston.
Great air-conditioned tour with fascinating tunnel history, knowledgeable guide (Diana's great!), and a unique way to explore downtown Houston.
We had an excellent tour guide - Diana. She was an historian and had a lot of information and passion during the tour. We really appreciated her facts and personality. I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to know more about the Houston downtown tunnel system. It’s not super exciting but it’s informational.
Our tour guide, Diana, was exceptional. She picked a great selection of buildings that provided a good understanding of how downtown Houston's architecture evolved over the last century.
I have lived in the Houston Metro area for 26 years, yet I had never been to the tunnels. I took this tour on a Friday. I learned a lot about city history, both related to the tunnels as well as the history of some of the beautiful buildings we visited. Diana was a great guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. It was a great experience.
This was a great tour in the air conditioning! We were given a lot of information, saw a lot, and Diana was very engaging. I plan to take the tour again, so that I can take my hubby.
The tour was very interesting! Diana, our guide, was very knowledgeable and informed! She ensured everyone would learn some Houston history and exciting facts of the tunnel system! Her personality was engaging and her voice and speech tempo were easy to understand and follow!
I saw a part of Houston I had never visited. This was a well narrated tour and kept our interest. Experiencing the interconnected tunnels that opened up in building lobbies was fascinating
If you need to get your steps in this is a good tour. Our tour guide was friendly but this tour didn’t really keep my attention as well as other tours I’ve done. It was good to get out of the heat but some areas of the tunnels were fairly warm to me. Since I only paid $30 I didn’t have an issue with the value. I would choose this on a day to get out of the weather and get some indoor exercise. I think we spent around 2 hours.
Diana the tour guide was great! Lots of great information and history about the tunnels and history of Houston and buildings. Highly recommended especially its indoors in A/C on the hot summer days!
Interesting and engaging. We loved learning about the history of the city and the food choices were spectacular. Diana was funny and very experienced. Highly recommend
The tour guide was so knowledgeable. The information was so interesting. We learned so much in just 2 hours. She as do pleasant and friendly.
The tunnel tour was very good. It was well worth the money, as you learned a lot about not only the tunnels but also the history of Houston and Texas. The architecture of the buildings is amazing and the little underground life in the tunnels is fun to see.
It was amazing! The history alone was worth it. Even more so than the air conditioning lol. We knew about them but have never ventured down and so glad we finally did! Take Diana’s tour. She was full of facts, stories and jokes! Absolutely fantastic Price, meet up and communication was top notch.

Very informative tour focused on architectural aspects. Way more than I was expecting. Diana did a great job!
Diane was a great tour guide. Very informative with great stories. We will be back next time guests are in town.
Diana was great. You can tell she really enjoys her job. Great info. Good pace and very interesting.
Diana, our guide, was marvelous. Great information interspersed with personal stories. Nice loud voice so it was easy to hear and keep up with tour.
Vanessa is fantastic! She knows her history, knows how to make it interesting and is genuinely a great tour guide.
