The hotel overall looks nice and has a good charm to the decor. The couple of interactions with the front desk were great. There is an option for valet, but I did not take that up. Plenty of parking around. The attached Campfire restaurant and neighboring POV coffee shop are pretty good food choices if you don't feel like going out. My room had a great view of the lake, golf course, and surrounding Texas landscape. The bed was comfortable, I didn't wake up sore, unlike the Fairfields. Luckily I had pretty quiet neighbors, but you can hear quite a bit through the walls. I know that my neighbor's alarm goes off at 7am sharp. There is convenient access to the lake and walking paths. There is also a tower you can go up on and see much of the surrounding area. A few things that were not so fun. The room, at least my room, and hallways have a very strong cleaning smell, to the point of being overwhelming. The sheets also had this overpowering cleaner scent. At least one light fixture next to the bed and two power outlets were out. The mini fridge did not get very cold. The WiFi network, while consistent in connection, is super, super slow. Simple pages will take quite a long time to fully load and some pages refused to load at all. Overall, it's not a bad hotel at all, just fix the above issues, and it's a 5-star stay.

Was guest at Stella for A&M- AzSt game this weekend. 5/5 Stars easily! Front desk was extremely helpful: Eliza & Caelyn were great! General Manager Sheila was very visible and asked us & others if their accommodations & needs were met. Have stayed in 100’s of hotels- The Stella easily rates with the best!! We’ll be back!!
What can I say? We found the best hotel in College Station, Caitlyn at the front desk was so kind to give us a late checkout because we checked in late. No issues at all, just 5 star service with ridiculously good food and the DRINKS, amazing by Mike behind the bar, Dalilah server for breakfast was amazing with a smile and positive vibes. Great place to start the week for me. Best hotel hands down in College Station, don't stay anywhere else Bonvoy members. This is it. ps: Don't get me started on the pools and hot tub, hurry before summer is out !
Staff was very professional, polite, friendly and personable. The entire hotel was very clean. The restaurant was really good, great service and food and was reasonably priced. The common areas were super nice. Really liked the fire pits and covered outdoor conversation area couches with lots of fans. We have an EV, so the available charging stations were very convenient. We pulled in and charged overnight. We're looking forward to returning.
This was my first time staying at The Stella but I'll book here next time I'm in Bryan/College Station. I loved getting to walk aground Lake Atlas. The view was amazing. I also really enjoyed the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The food at the restaurant Campfire was amazing as well. Even played a game of corn hole. All the concierges were extremely polite and helpful.
