I love everything about the Grand Hotel!!! The customer service is excellent and location is perfect. There is fresh flowers everywhere, coffee in lobby availabe in a cup and saucer, and quaint sitting areas. Ricks Chop house is a must and the bar is a beautiful and intimate. The Grand is definetly above the rest!

We had our wedding here. It was perfect. The staff was great, really helpful and professional. The food was exquisite. The ballroom was beautiful and it was so fun to have everyone stay at the hotel together. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!
A gem of a hotel. Had some work done on our house so we had to vacate for 2 nights with our German Shepherd. We love Downtown McKinney and our staycation enabled us to be tourists! Hotel has the perfect location, a lovely bar and restaurant attached. Staff were fabulous. Room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend
This hotel is amazing. We stayed here for three nights in August 2026. Our room was very large and spacious and had an exterior wall that was brick and really added to the charm. The bed was comfortable and it was lots of space to spread out and a couple of tables to work on. The bathroom was also spacious and comfortable. It’s right on the Square, at one corner, in McKinney Texas with easy walking access to all the shops in the cute little downtown Square. We ordered room service breakfast for two of the mornings, and it arrived on time. It was hot and delicious and the attendants were great that delivered the breakfast and brought us an extra carafe of coffee. There is a very charming old bar on the first floor of the hotel, and it connects to a fantastic restaurant. On the first floor, there is a large room with a couple very long tables, it would be great for a fancy dinner such as a rehearsal dinner. On the second floor was a giant meeting room for large groups. There are interesting books scattered around, and every room, and in the hallways where the doors to the rooms are. On the second floor there is a secret little library with a couple of reading chairs, and it connects to a stairway that goes out side to the street. Another charming feature is that there are two staircases from the ground floor up to the fourth floor, and both of them are lined completely on the walls with artwork. You can walk up one staircase and down the other, admiring the art. The lobby is spacious and has lots of places to sit and relax and meet your friends and read books. The price was also reasonable and I highly recommend this hotel if you are north of Dallas for any reason.
A charming hotel just off the McKinney square. We could walk to many restaurants and the shopping was A+. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Rick’s Chop House was next door and excellent. Will definitely return.
