We had an event here and all of the staff was absolutely amazing! Gotta give a shout-out to Seth in the bar. I've been sitting here for a couple hours waiting to leave. He has been polite, professional, and I actually enjoyed shooting the shit with him. I'll definitely be back the next time around.

We had a great stay. The building is a little dated and the restaurant isn't much. But the service was great and our upgraded room (thanks Amex Platinum) was great. The balcony, as you can see, has a pillar in the middle of it and didn't have any chairs. (Also, Austin is sooo muggy! But that isn't Omni's fault.). But I enjoyed having the balcony all the same. Pool had was a pretty vibrant scene on Saturday. Thanks to Skylar and Avery for your attention to detail with service.
I always hear great things about the Omni hotels. I was excited for my stay as I waa visiting austin after a long time The service its 5/5 everyone is great and they are really nice. I believe they were what makes this place worth it for some people. Room: For a 4 star hotel which charges more than other hotels in the surrounding areas, I would expect the rooms to be spacious and be better than a 2-3 star hotels but I would say some 2-3 star hotels beat them in room quality. As for the waters, coffee and teas they say that they are "complimentary" but then they smack a $20 destination fee to cover the costs which makes no sense. There is significant rust in the restrooms/showers, there is no trashbags on the trashcans which makes me feel bad for the housekeeping. The beds are not comfortable at all compared to what The Westin provides. Overall: When I booked this hotel with Amex it said parking was included and come to my suprise its not and its valet at a $60 charge per day. For the price that they charge (more than The Westin) I would expect a better experience than one would get at a lower star hotel.
Stayed at the Omni for one night during a business trip. The hotel lobby is absolutely beautiful and creates a great first impression. The location is also very convenient, with walking distance access to many restaurants and the Capitol Hill building. However, despite arriving after the official check-in time, we had to wait an additional hour because the rooms were not ready, which was disappointing after a long day of travel. Overall, the staff service was good, and the valet service for overnight parking was smooth and efficient. The hotel room itself was very clean, quiet, and well insulated, which made for a comfortable stay. That said, the rooms, elevators, carpets, and furniture could definitely use a refresh. Much of the furniture felt outdated and no longer aligned with the pricing and expectations for the nightly rate we paid. Overall, a decent stay with a great location and clean accommodations, but the property would benefit from some renovations and modernization.
I really enjoyed my stay here! The entire staff is delightful and the food at Capital A is delicious. I want to specifically call out Tim at the valet, he made such a great impression on our stay. He was attentive from the moment we arrived, always ready to open doors for me and other guests, whether we were coming or going. He never missed a beat with helping to open doors or load up our bags with our Ride shares either. On top of that, he was genuinely polite and just a pleasure to interact with. It’s the kind of service that doesn’t go unnoticed. Tim is a gem!
