Hotel Drover, Autograph Collection

The hotel is nice overall, the indoor/outdoor common spaces are beautiful, the staff is friendly and accommodating. However, the rooms are not nearly as nice as you would expect for the price. The walls are very thin and we could hear everything in the hallway as well as the people in the neighboring rooms at all hours so if you’re a light sleeper this will be a problem. We were nowhere near the elevators/stairs either. Cool hotel, but not worth the cost.

Stellar Portfolio property. We had an excellent stay. The front desk was welcoming and accommodating. Rooms provided a comfortable stay- great beds. The Lobby bar provided excellent cocktails- best spicy margaritas. Appreciated Christina’s service and recommendations there. Five star food and wine at 97 West. Meeting rooms on property and the central location to The Stockyard mad for an excellent gathering. I will definitely make this as a vacation destination or another business meeting.

Hotel Drover was exceptional from start to finish. The location in the heart of the Stockyards is fantastic; the property and amenities are beautiful, but what really set our stay apart was the level of service. One experience in particular perfectly captured it. We had an exceptional dinner at 97 West, the hotel’s restaurant. During dinner, my wife noticed a bottle of wine on the menu that happened to share its name with our wedding song. We mentioned the coincidence to our server, Dolce, and thought nothing more of it. When we returned to our room after dinner, Dolce had arranged to have the bottle waiting for us, along with a handwritten card. She had done it all before we even made it back upstairs. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and a great example of the attention to detail we experienced throughout our stay. Those are the kinds of moments that turn a great hotel into a memorable one. Hotel Drover absolutely delivered on the location, atmosphere, amenities and hospitality. We will definitely be back, and a special thank you to Dolce for making an already wonderful stay that much more memorable.

Wowza what a stay! The Drover is gorgeous! The design details and artwork are phenomenal. This place is special. The front desk staff are so helpful and friendly. Say hello to Lindsey if she’s there, she’s great! Love their western outfits too! The room decor is gorgeous too. The outside area is just as beautiful with a really pretty pool, lots of seating areas with fire pits and a beautiful bar. From 7-8pm you have the opportunity to have a gifted luggage tag branded with your initials. The restaurant 97 West was incredible! Every single item we ordered was delicious, along with great service. We will be back!
