Homewood Suites Longview

It was a great place to stay. We had a suite and it was big and the beds were comfortable. The pool was amazing and the outdoor area was fantastic. The continental breakfast was amazing.

Everything was great except for the loud engines of cars peeling out in the street and parking lot across the street. Not the hotel's fault but was not relaxing to hear shouting, squealing, and engines roaring when trying to sleep each night. The suite was great for entertaining family and had a nice, cool bedroom.

On a 50 state trip with my husband and children, staying exclusively in hilton hotels. This is the single nastiest hotel we've ever stayed in. The second you walk in, the people are great. But the smell hits you immediately upon exiting the elevator into the hallways. As a cleaner myself, I can tell you that smell is mold and mildew. We saw multiple cockroaches, and the backs of the cabinets in the room were taped along the back seams, presumably to deter cockroaches from entering the room. You could say the place is old and needs renovation. But really, it needs a deep clean. We toughed it through the night, because trying to find a hotel room with a big family is difficult. But when we woke up and neither bathroom shower worked, that made us wish we'd have chosen elsewhere for the night. For the cost of the 2 room suite, this was absolutely despicable.

This is located near the downtown area. There is plenty of food options within a few miles from this hotel. Rooms come with stove tops,full size fridge. My room was clean and a very nice size. All of the hotel employees were helpful and super nice. The hotel is a bit dated, so if your normal stays are at newer Homewood suites, you will see the difference immediately. Again room was clean, quiet, and beds were the excellent standard of the Hilton brand.
