The service was really good but the rooms are too small for the price and parking should honestly be free. I also did like that our room bathroom tub was not clean and honestly needs to be replaced. Other than that, the facilities are really nice.
I stayed one night in room 724, an alcove suite. The property is a bit older but exceptionally well-maintained and thoroughly clean, though the rooms could use a modern refresh. That said, everything was immaculate and in great condition—just a bit dated (lol those elevator interiors!). The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. Every staff member I encountered—from the front desk to the evening dinner and morning breakfast teams—was wonderfully friendly. The restaurant food and bar drinks were moderately priced for a hotel, and they certainly didn’t skimp on the cocktail pours. I also appreciated the noticeable security presence on the premises. If my travels bring me back to the area, I would gladly stay here again.
The rooms are old and dusty in the vent 2 inches deep! The air conditioner would not turn off when temps even dropped to 50°. Tried to turn heat on, nope, only cold air. Daily room service was good. This is a very old hotel, the area is very bad, we never left the hotel!
I stayed at Doubletree by Hilton at Hobby in April, 2026. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience from the free shuttle from Hobby to the check in/out process to the food. Jose, the shuttle driver, showed up at Hobby within 10 minutes of my call. He was very friendly. Because of my flight, I arrived early for check in. Jacqueline was at the front desk and greeted me with a smile and a smooth check in. She even got me a room although I was quite early. Much appreciated! I stopped at the bar for dinner and again was greeted with a smile and friendly person, Carrie. (Might be Kerry, not sure). She took my order and when it came out, helped me get all the needed items so I could take it back to my room. The checkout was just as smooth and I dealt with the same great folks. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was located right by the airport. Thanks all at Doubletree by Hobby for a great visit. Will definitely choose you again!
Great hotel near the Houston Hobby Airport. Great location. Amazing guest service. Rooms were clean and quiet. Pool was a little cold but you get acclimated quick. The food at the bar was super good. Heavy pours in the cocktails. Service was impeccable.
