A couple of hours after my check in my restroom light started to failing. I call maintenance and Yamel was in the room so fast , she was super friendly and so professional. Fixed my light within minutes. Amazing staff

So... just spent a night here for the Chris brown concert. The moment we stepped in, it was HELL. There was a super long line to check in and guests everywhere waiting for rooms. We stood in that line to check in for 2 hours and the manager was nowhere to be seen!!! Unbelievable. The poor lady they had a the front was awesome tho... she deserves a raise for putting up with lots of mad guests. As bad as that was, that was not the only bad thing. We finally get to the room at around 630 pm... the carpet is dirty, had stains, just not clean. The room, well, this room had broken Knobs on the furniture, but the bed was decent. We spent the night, sucked it up because it was non-refundable... this morning, right as I was finishing up getting ready, there was an announcement that there was a fire and everyone needed to evacuate... I quickly stopped what I was doing (I was not ready yet, but didn't want to risk the "fire"!!) and got my stuff together to leave. We leave our room to find out there really wasn't a fire... not sure why they couldn't announce that when the announcement was coming over a loud speaker over and over again about the fire. Oh, can't forget the elevators... they had one elevator for floors 7-17... two for floors1-17, one of which was out of order, but only one button for all elevators. It was hell trying to get to your floor. Overall, this was the worst ever experience I've had in a hotel. I definitely won't be back to this place. I thought it was so rude how we were tricked into leaving this morning. We left so fast that I almost forgot some items in the room. Thankfully, I went back to make sure after we found out the alarm was false.
For context, I’m a Hilton Diamond for life. Not a great experience at this ELP location in mid July. Bed and linens were great, which was appreciated. However the rest of the room needed a refresh, especially the bathroom. AC stopped working on day 2. When I requested the AC and a few other things be attended to, they were not and no one followed up with me after two requests. I’ll not choose this location again, sorry.
Hotel is a little old and no ac in the hall ways. Rooms are decent and very fair priced. The pool is fun but the water is cold. The bar is great. They make a great drink and have good service. Desk staff is friendly and efficient. Thanks for the great service. Also use caution if you have a large vehicle in their parking garage it’s not big vehicle friendly, they have a side lot for larger vehicle.
Stayed here for 4-5 days and I really enjoyed it, the rooms were nice and had a lot of space to unpack and relax. The pool was great and had lot’s of areas to tan or enjoy conversations, the bar was super close to the pool which was nice. The gym is sort of small and only really offers dumbbells and treadmills but it was nice to get such a wide array of weight options (5-75lbs) The breakfast, lunch, and dinner was so good and offered lots of different options. Overall 10/10 would come again
