Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Dallas - Love Field

The hotel is very nice and clean. The only complaint is our room was next to train tracks which a train came by after midnight and woke us up for about an hour. Not good for early wake up to catch flights.

Nice room overall, but the only place to open a big suitcase is on a bed! Front desk did not know what a luggage rack is, and while they offered to have maintenance come up (???) they never showed. Lower end Hilton properties all seem to have luggage racks. Restaurant service was OK, looked understaffed.

The hotel has a very convenient location close to the airport, which makes it a good option for travelers with early flights or short layovers. However, be aware that it can be quite noisy. You can clearly hear airplanes landing, and there was nearby construction that started as early as 5:00 a.m., making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers who are not sensitive to noise or who can sleep easily despite disruptions. If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to consider choosing a different location.

We stayed here overnight after missing our connecting flight to Oakland and were rebooked for the next day. This hotel has won a Connie award for 4 years in a row and I can see why: spotless clean rooms, beautiful lobby that is large and spacious, modern but warm. Our king bed was super comfiest! Our room came with a coffee maker, tea, coffee; mini fridge; dryer; LG tv. There is a hotel shuttle that runs every half hour to Dallas Love airport which is only 1.1 miles away. For $273 this place is worth it!
