Stayed in room 323 on the third floor. Looked nice but 100% smelled of MOLD! As soon as you exit the elevator on the third floor you can smell the mildew/mold. It was so bad that after 3 days of staying in that room I started to feel ill. Not to mention the service is absolutely slow. I asked for conditioner 24 hours in advance cause the bottle was empty, was told they would send some up. The next day, nothing! When my husband called they said they would send someone up at 1034am.... by 1049am still no one. They had a full day to do their job. Yet had no problem sending house keeping into our room with out knocking at 8am then again at 9am, as if they dont talk to each other. The morning breakfast is not a part of the room, but you have to pay..... its cheap food that isnt properly served. Boiled eggs in an open bowl with no chill, milk sitting out at room temperature and food that is so greasy it makes your stomach turn. Yet they want $15 for it. I was beyond disappointed with this hotel. This is a massive health concern and management can not say they cant smell the mold while on the 3rd floor.

I don’t care about the age of a hotel so long as it is clean and well maintained. This did not seem to be the case at this particular location. Updated, but not kept up well. Certainly not to Hilton standards one would reasonably expect. The first room we got smelled overwhelmingly and offensively of mold/mildew and felt super humid. Walking towards the window, water started gushing up out of the carpet around my feet. The AC unit was leaking very badly. Immediately reported this to the front desk and I sure hope they had maintenance on it asap. Next room smelled of stale cigarette smoke; unpleasant/unacceptable for one, but wasn’t about to get hit with that charge. Finally the third was ok. Pool was great, clean and big. breakfast was bad; can go practically next door to Cracker Barrel instead
The staff was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. The breakfast was good and served buffet-style. However, the room I was staying in had issues with the door handle, so I did have to request a physical key. I was able to turn the handle clockwise, then force it to open since the digital key via the Hilton app would only open it for a few seconds. Also, the room was older and needed some renovation, as the bathtub faucet was practically hanging off the wall and wasn't secured. Overall, the stay was nice just a little older DoubleTree. I'm sure with renovations this hotel would easily be 5 stars, as the customer service and location were great.
Nice aesthetics, modern, very clean lobby. They still do the warm cookie but you have to ask specifically. The bedding and bathroom were very clean. FYI, room 228 (and probably below and above) have a view of a brick wall. Not pretty, but darker at night. My concerns are that the shower doesn't have any pressure and it never got warm. Thankfully it is 110 degrees outside and a cool shower was tolerable at the time, but having no pressure is irksome. I despise the window air units. They are loud and clunky, shutting off and on loudly all night, even when you set it to "always on." I did not get a good night's sleep. The shuttle to the game was great. Please put more shade at the stop. (110 remember). The pool was perfect.
The most comfortable hotel bed! Guest services were great. Loved the warm cookies at check in. Clean room. Great location. Quiet and safe with plenty of parking. Will definitely stay again!
