The rooms are nothing special and was clean and comfortable , but the resturant is truly a hell , the food was so bad and the service was even worse . I was told by the older lady that it was closed then the staff from the lobby informed they are open for lunch , which she was not happy about that !!! I mean why would you hire people not wanting to be there. She got my food and this was the worst beef taco more like beef jerky , with yuca fries which was still uncooked , chargers me more than 30$ for absolute rubbish that did not end up eating but half. Honestly that experience left a bad taste and has been the worse resturant in a hotel , they do not need to carry the Marriot name . Just horrible

⭐ Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance, Terrible Service, and Ridiculous Shuttle Wait Times Our stay at this Marriott was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standards we expect from a Marriott property. The toilet was overflowing, the TV did not work, and when we requested face towels, we were brought towels that were ripped, worn out, and looked more like cleaning rags than towels intended for guests. To make matters worse, the airport shuttle took 40 minutes just to pick us up from less than two miles away from the airport. That is absolutely ridiculous and incredibly inconvenient for travelers who are already tired from flying. A hotel shuttle service should make transportation easier, not leave guests waiting an unreasonable amount of time for a short-distance pickup. The condition of the room, the quality of the towels, the lack of working amenities, and the poor shuttle service made this an unacceptable experience from multiple angles. Guests pay good money to stay at Marriott properties and deserve clean rooms, functioning equipment, decent linens, and reliable transportation. Management needs to do better. Rooms should be inspected properly, maintenance issues should be addressed promptly, housekeeping should provide clean and undamaged towels, and shuttle operations need serious improvement. I would not recommend staying at this location based on our experience. Marriott needs to take these issues seriously and hold management accountable for the quality of service being provided. This was nowhere near the level of hospitality we expected, and I would think twice before booking this property again.
I am leaving this review on September 1, 2026. I am noting the time because I want management to know which front desk staff I am referring to. I am part of an organization that has been here for the last five years, making this year six. I am at the Marriott, so of course everything is great- The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, The amenities are better than average, Etc. But I would like management to know, is that the front desk staff is stellar. They are polite and professional, and yet personable. All of my interactions have exceeded my expectations. If I remember, I will post their names later. All of my encounters with Hotel staff, including, but not limited to management, front desk, restaurant, cleaning, maintenance, etc., has been nothing but positive. They are always willing to go the extra mile. Some of them have been here every year since our organization has been coming here and to me that speaks volumes. It’s almost like coming home to see an old friend. Thank you, DFW Marriot Airport North.
Absolutely the most embarrassing location to ever represent the Marriott name. I tried to resolve this issue with both Marriott and American Airlines Hotel bookings to no avail and I will now be reporting them to the health department, and the BBB as they clearly do not care about your health. The first floor smelled like mold from the moment we got there and they attempted to mask it with air fresheners. They had 1 single dryer in the hallway so they were aware they were flooding and still put guests down there. They denied my request for reimbursement of any sort to make good on the issues they know they have, because I did not talk to staff while I was there, but are staffed with rude employees. I am not a confrontational person and did not want to upset my daughter as she was there for an event. This hotel management and owner should be ashamed of themselves! They had us in a flooded hotel! Please see photos attached. In addition to the flooded first floor, the room was damp to the point our clothing and bedding were wet to the touch! The hotel staff was rude and before we even arrived, I was hung up on three times! Do not stay at this hotel!!!
This has to be THE worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at a lot. With the exception of two of the shuttle drivers and one bartender, the service was unbelievably poor. Not one person at the front desk wanted to help and when they spoke, they were condescending and rude (women). The gentleman was actually nice and accommodating. I overheard one of the female front desk employees actually tell a guest it’d be .50, for one photocopy. As a guest, you’re entitled to use the business center but the printer was out of toner. It was obviously an inconvenience for her to stop her chatting and help. One of the bartenders told a guest she had to eat on the other side of the lobby because she brought in food (I’ll get to that in a minute). She moved 10 feet away. I hope he was satisfied with himself for asking a 60+ year old woman eating alone, to move so he could score a tip. The “pantry” was not stocked well and the bar food was less than adequate which is why many got food elsewhere and brought it in. I got some satisfaction watching a lot of people wander in and out of the pantry taking food and not paying because no one at the front desk would help with how to use the kiosk to check out. There are no signs indicating how you pay for pantry items and the kiosk is not very visible. The front desk staff were too busy visibly snacking and being rude to anyone who dared approach them with a question. The rooms were over $200/night. One of my photos is of the salad….that mushy, brown thing is a pear, at least it was at one point. That salad was there for five days, nothing fresh was changed out. Lobby bathrooms were disgusting. The ATL airport bathrooms are cleaner. My room was so dark I asked for maintenance to look at the three lights that didn’t work, I checked in on a Wednesday and left on Sunday; they never came. My balcony door was open when I returned to my room one day and because of the storm, was blowing into the room so hard that I wasn’t able to secure the deadbolt; I’m still waiting for maintenance to assist with that. The food was terrible but forgivable if the service would’ve made up for it. It is conveniently located to the DFW airport, but not a lot else redeems this hotel. I’m told it’s a franchise, I hope the brand of Marriott drops this location.
