Fully Inclusive Private Customized Israel Tour

We spent a full day in a private tour guided by Ronen Lev in September 2023. We went to Rosh Hanikra, Akko, Haifa, and Caesaria. Ronen was fantastic. As far as logistics went, he was very professional, and picked us up at our hotel on time and got us to all of our desired stops. He made helpful suggestions on our itinerary, and we avoided wasting time at places with little interest. He also listened to us about our goals for the tour, and what we were interested in doing. I found him to be very knowledgeable, both about the history of the areas we visited as well as the current culture in Israel. He helped us get some great group photos with border guards at the border with Lebanon. I highly recommend him.

We looked at all the organized bus tours and none of them focused on what WE wanted to do. Even though there were only 3 of us travelling as a family, we'd have to spend two days on bus tours getting up for a 6:30 AM pickup, travelling on a bus with no washroom, taking us to places we aren't interested in and spending too little time where we wanted to go. So, we booked a private tour with Ron instead. He picked us up at out Tel Aviv hotel, and took us to all the sights we wanted to see in Jerusalem. We were never rushed and we could spend as much time as we wanted at each sight. His knowledge of the areas and being known to the locals meant we didn't have any concern about changing our arrival time at Yad Vashem and he took care of all the costs for parking etc. There were no "hidden extras" and although our itinerary took longer than expected, he did not make anything of it. He made our first family trip to Israel so enjoyable and we do not regret the choice for a second. If this is your first time in Israel, splurge and book a private tour with Ron.

Probably the best, most friendly, relaxed and informative tour we've had the pleasure of. We're fortunate to have the opportunity to travel a lot and, when we're somewhere only briefly, I book a guide. All too often, one gets a dry history lesson from a bored guide. Ron, wasn't at all like that. Israel has history of course, but it's also a young vibrant country with lots going on. Ron brought the history to life illuminating the modern day challenges and bringing them into context. He also booked a superb lunch, finding a great restaurant with a wonderful wine list (not easy on the Shabbat - I couldn't get a reservation anywhere!). If you're visiting Jerusalem or even just flying into Tel Aviv for a weekend, book this guy; a first class guide and now, a friend in Israel. We'll definitely repeat the experience.

From the lead up to and during the actual tour Ron was second to none. He really did provide an end to ends fully inclusive experience and was able to customize the trip to our needs and timing so we would have an enjoyable day. We had great conversations during the trip with some great insight into the in and outs of Israel and even provided some after the tour help when we needed some advice. Ron tailored our tour to our interests. Besides giving us a fabulous tour of Jerusalem, he has a knowledge of the people and situations past and current in Israel. We wanted to visit an Israeli Winery and he was able to arrange it and it was a fantastic experience, talking wine with the winemaker. Ron has a personality that is not only easy going but caring in providing for his clients the best possible experience in Israel. Do not hesitate to book this man. Ron was our guide in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and took us on excursions outside the cities as well. There were three generations of us traveling together and he was sensitive to the needs of both the teenager and the senior citizen. He was incredibly knowledgeable about israeli history and politics, able to answer all of our questions. He was very prompt and courteous and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend him - he knows all the ins and outs and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.

Ron was always fine tuning our tour, adjusting the details so we had the best experience possible. He is a font of knowledge and a lovely person. Highly recommended.

Our time in Israel with Ron was by far our favorite time in an extended tour of many countries. We were three ladies in our 80's trying to see as much as was possible in the three days we had available. Ron took us under his wing and gave us the time of our lives. He manuevered the crazy traffic with ease all the while giving basic information and lively conversation about Israel and America. He got us very close to all the sites and was always so careful to help us with all the steps and uneven surfaces. In the "old city" he managed to procure a small golf cart so that we darted from one wonderful religious venue to another in minutes. We had wonderful experiences at the great local restaurants he found for us. We still talk about the great food we had. All in all we made a great friend for life in Israel. Thank You!

We spent 2 days with Ron visiting Masada, the Dead Sea and a full day in Jerusalem and every minute surpassed all my expectations. Ron has a real depth of knowledge of the history, the religion & the existing situations in each of the many sites we visited. Ron can convey this knowledge in an understandable way to his audience. I booked a private 3 day tour for myself and my mum with Ron and the experience was exceptional. From the early planning and communication Ron was very responsive to my questions and took the time to understand our requirements but he also made recommendations on how to improve our experience. During the tours Ron was very patient and helpful with my mum. He changed some of the routes e.g. to the church of the holy Scepulture. So we walked downhill rather than uphill which was easier for my mum. When we made last minute requests, e.g my mum wanting to be baptised in the river hours an. He organised a very thing quickly and seamlessly the next day. When we needed to take a private taxi to Tel Aviv, he gave us estimates on what things should cost so we didn’t get ripped off. I would highly recommend Ron.

I just finished a two weeks vacation having over a half a dozen tours in Israel and parts of europe. Ron was by far the best. Ron had patience and answered every question I could think of. With also gauging what parts of Israel I would be the most interested in and kept a perfect pace while engaging with us the entire time. Ronen is an incredible person and your guide!he speaks multiple languages and his English is excellent. He picked us up on time, with a smile and a positive attitude. His knowledge of Israel is incredible, he too is to MT Olive, The Western Wall, The tomb of King David The room of the the last supper, the temple of ruin, the 4 quarters of the old city. The underground aqua ducts at the city of King David, amazing middle eastern lunch (falafel and shawarma), and finally ended the tour with Yad Vashem. Every Question we asked Ronen, he was able to answer, he is extremely articulate, knowledgeable and an expert on Israel! I highly recommend you use him if your are looking for a high end 5 star tour guide. He is one of the best guides My wife and I have ever had (and we have used private guides extensively all over the world)! By the end of our 8 hour tour, Ronen felt like a friend and someone we could spend time with outside of hiring him as a guide. He is authentic, kind, service oriented and just a good person!!

Ron is amazing! Don’t visit Israel without Ron. We mainly toured Jerusalem. Ron took us to many sights and was flexible. We can he’s our itinerary on the fly without issue. Ron knows the best hole in the wall restaurants. He answered ALL our questions with pleasure.

Ron was our family travel guide and driver over the course of our 6.5 day trek across Israel. Ron took all three of us from Tel Aviv up to Tiberias & Golan Heights for 3 days before going down the Jordan River Valley to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea for the final 3 days. Ron was excellent in his accommodations, providing a very comfortable vehicle, making dinner reservations, and always having bottled water. Additionally, Ron was very thorough and detailed in his explanations of historical and biblical significance of the locations we went to. Ron has a vast knowledge of ancient and modern history that he shared throughout the course of the trip. Lastly, Ron was able to take us to many “bonus” locations that were outside of our original itinerary. Our group was able to make it through the itinerary items in quicker than usual fashion, and with that, each day we went to multiple bonus locations. We highly recommend using Ron on any Israel trip. We had a great time.

Ron Lev is simply the best, that's why we are calling him our Shepherd (aka Guide) around Israel. He was so knowledgeable about everything and really took the time to explain and show us many areas and remarkable things. We highly recommend the private tours with him, it makes all the difference in what you will experience and know while in Israel. He is very punctual and has a clean and comfortable luxury van, and brings water each day, (he also brings a wonderful personality and nice smile). We just returned from an Israeli trip that couldn't have been more perfect. Mostly because of the care, consideration and expertise of our guide, Ron Lev. We spent 15 days visiting Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and all the required sites and then some. He timed visits and the overall activities with such professional accuracy that we accomplished all we set out to do and even more that he squeezed into the program. Dinner and food suggestions were excellent. He always presented options and accomodated our every need, right down to providing water on extremely hot days. And his knowledge about Israel and its surroundings was phenomenal. We were so fortunate to have this wonderful guide for our first time journey to Israel. Highly recommended!

We have just returned from a 2 week trip to Israel and Jordan. For 7 of those days the two of us were under the expert care and guidance of Ron Lev on a tour specifically designed for us. On arrival we had a very badly damaged bag and were wondering how we were going to replace it. No problem. Ron is an amazing tour guide, fun and thoughtful, he will adapt your tour based on what you want to do, you will be comfortable and enjoy every single minute, instead of being stuck in a tour doing things when you would rather be doing something else. Take advantage of every single minute by deciding yourself! Ron took us to every place we wanted to see in Old Jerusalem and Mount Olives, and then to take a quick dip in the Dead Sea, it was a perfect day!

We just returned from a 9 day tour through Israel with Ron which was the trip of a lifetime for our three generation 6 person family group ranging in age from 13 to 82. Ron led us everyday, and we travelled throughout Israel from Jaffa/Tel Aviv to Galilee and Golan Heights to Jerusalem to Dead Sea and Masada. Ron is an amazing person, kind, very interesting and a pleasure to be with. As a guide he is extraordinary, and knows everything we could possibly imagine. He would lead conversations about different areas of interest, and was also flexible to speak about whatever specific subject we would request, whether recent history, politics, ancient history, biblical history, anything and everything. He knows everything! He always had a plan for what to do, but was also willing to change or revise plans based on what we wanted to do-with no issues or concerns. Happy to accommodate. What Ron spoke about was equally interesting to my 82 year old father and 13 year old daughter, and he was able to speak at levels interesting to all. His English is also perfect. I highly recommend Ron as a guide for a great trip.

When Ron walked towrards us with a big smile, we knew we were in good hands! Ron drove us around Israel for 7 days. He is a source of infinite knowledge. Whether you have historical, practical, political, touristic questions, Ron can give you the answer with humor and accuracy. Although he didn't travel with us to Jordan, he helped our visit there with the advice he gave us. When you travel with Ron, you feel like you are hanging out with a friend who is welcoming you in his country with tremendous hospitality. All 5 of us enjoyed his stories, his explanations (our 15 year old could not get enough of the historical/political explanations). Ron speaks French and English very well, it is a delight to listen to all he has to share. He is truly funny, a great heart and a great ambassador to his beautiful country. TODA!
