We’ve been to Israel many times, so when we came across this tour, we thought, “Why not?” We’re so glad we did! From the moment we booked, Michael was wonderful—professional, attentive, and always in touch. A Mercedes cab picked us up at our Airbnb and brought us to the building, where Michael was waiting to greet us. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chanan, who took us through the exchange and explained everything in detail. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions. He also took us to his jewelry shop, and the pieces were absolutely stunning and truly one of a kind. Since we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, we decided to purchase a beautiful pair of earrings as a special keepsake. What we appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure to buy—the experience felt genuine and enjoyable from start to finish. One important note: security is very strict, so don’t forget your passports! We highly recommend this tour. I really enjoyed the tour, and highly recommend it. Michael and Hanan are very knowledgeable about diamonds and the exchange and I learned a lot! I got to hold some beautiful diamonds and watched some diamond cutters and other parts of process. The biggest issue I experienced was that I wanted to buy everything! We had a great introduction to a lkmg standing member of the Diamond Exchange. We were shown and told about the diamond exchange and got to see various parts ofnthe cutting and polishing practice.

Thanks to Michael to our coordinator it was a great experience. As we were only with our family we were able to ask as many questions as possible and really learned a lot thanks to our guide Hanan. The admission fee is fair for what you see and the length of visit at the center. Amazing were the production site and the diamond exchange area. Not to forget about the feeling holding a diamond of 4 Carat in my hands!

We had the most fascinating afternoon touring the Israel Diamond Center. The intense security, city like expanse, cutting,polishing and trading areas that incorporate high tech and old world skill, we're fascinating, educational and sparkling! Hanan and Segal were amazing hosts and communication with Michael was excellent. Highly recommended!

A taxi was arranged from our hotel. Communication with Michael was excellent. My husband and I were looking for something interesting to do in Tel Aviv, we have no specific interest in jewelry. The tour was just for the two of us. Michael greeted us on the street and guided us through security. He connected us with an English speaking member of the Exchange. For the next 60 minutes we had a personal tour that was fascinating. We learned about the business aspects and got to hold diamonds and see working “cutters” as we walked through the process. The tour ended with coffee or tea in the jeweler’s shop. There was no pressure to buy. I am surprised this tour is open to the general public. I felt like we had a personal connection to see something so unique.

Michael arranged a wonderful visit and coordinated meetings with Hanna and Sagil both of whom were incredibly knowledgeable and deeply involved in the industry. From the moment I entered, the level of security was striking — understandably strict, but also a reminder of the value and seriousness of the work happening inside. Once inside, they showed me the entire process up close. I learned how diamonds are cut and shaped, and how stones can be refined or even completely recut to enhance their beauty and value. Watching the precision, patience, and technical skill involved was absolutely mesmerizing. I also saw where diamonds are auctioned and traded—an entire world of its own, bustling with movement, negotiations, and expert evaluations. The complex is enormous and operates almost like a small, highly coordinated city dedicated entirely to diamonds. I truly appreciated the time that Hanna and Sagil spent with me, and the care they took to explain every step. It was an eye-opening and deeply memorable tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in gemstones, craftsmanship, or exploring one of Israel’s most remarkable industries.

I had the pleasure this afternoon of spending a few hours with my wife, Hanan and Sigal. Their warmth, hospitality, knowledge, and dedication to their trade, was simply off the charts. While we did not expect a truly behind the scenes look at the diamond industry – that’s exactly what we got. We received a first hand viewing of the manufacturing process from raw stone - to some of the most stunning pieces I’ve had the pleasure of seeing firsthand. If you are into jewelry, this is a no-brainer. And if you happen not to be into jewelry, but your significant other is lol I could not recommend this more if I tried. What a terrific way to spend some time in Tel Aviv.

This was a first rate experience. It started off when I was picked up at my hotel by a cab and driven to the exchange. The exchange is heavily secured and it’s important to know that you need to bring your passport to be let in. My hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and I learned so much about the history of the exchange, the inner workings of the exchange, how internal disputes on the exchange floor are handled by an arbitration panel, what it takes to become a licensed trader on the floor, how AI is now being used to help cut diamonds and so much more. There is an opportunity to buy diamonds and gorgeous jewelry at the end, but I was not even slightly pressured to buy. This is one of the best most interesting tours I have ever taken and I can’t recommend it enough!!

On all my trips to Israel, this is the first time I’ve taken this tour. My husband and I found it fascinating and extremely educational! One does not have to be a jewelry lover to appreciate all that goes into the process of sourcing, cutting and selling diamonds. We highly recommend it!

I found out about this gem when I was looking for a.bonus activity to our stay in Tel Aviv, and I'm so glad we discovered it! We went with our whole family (my wife, four children ages 11-18) and my mother, and everyone had a great time! When planning trip activities, it can sometimes be a challenge to find things that everyone's interested in. And as a dad, I try to expose the kids to as many informative experiences as possible. This hit on all counts. The kids loved the experience of getting to hold diamonds w several thousands of dollars. We loved watching the diamond cutters practicing the craft, exercising precision to a degree that's it's hard to fathom achieving by hand. And our hosts, Hanan and Sigal were so knowledgeable, warm, and charming, and Michael made the planning so seamless, and was extremely accommodating. My main goal of the trip is to expose my kids to many of Israel's different facets and this was definitely a hidden gem that I'm so glad we got the opportunity to do. Can't recommend highly enough

An extraordinary, unique diamond experience! We met Hanan & Sigal in the lobby and after clearing security our education began: the history of diamonds and the rules of the exchange, observing and learning about the trading floor, seeing how the computer measures and displays all facets of each diamond and finally, watching the cutting and polishing. We were then invited to their private store where I felt no pressure to purchase anything...but everything was incredibly creative, gorgeous and WHOLESALE! I bought a beautiful ring and the lighted ring box beautifully completed the presentation. This is one of those one of a kind experiences. I highly recommend it.

This tour of the Diamond Exchange has been the highlight of the trip. It has also been one of the best guided tours experiences we have had in several visits. I would even say, one of the best guided tour experiences among our many chosen activities, during visits in recent years to cities across Europe. You can expect to be guided by wonderful people who take care of you even as they take you on the tour, to hear thorough explanations from experts who know and live every aspect of the business, and to finish the tour wishing it would not end.

We decided to take the tour of The Diamond Exchange last minute and hired Michael Werner. We couldn’t be happier with that decision. What an amazing and interesting experience! He introduced us to Hanan Savranski who was such a great and knowledgeable tour guide. He and his wife, Sigal, have a jewelry store in the building which we visited. They were very welcoming and friendly. We felt a connection with them immediately. They have the most unique and exquisite diamonds and jewelry ever. It would have been very hard to resist not to purchase, however, there was no pressure at all. It was overall a lovely experience and we would love to do it again once back in Tel Aviv. The team was super-professional and made me feel most welcome. I had no idea just how much hard work and skill went into crafting a beautiful gemstone. Hanan's designs are wonderful and innovative, with pieces where one item can take on two appearances via invisible mechanisms. I was not in the market for any jewellry, but if I was, I wouldn't hesitiate to buy a Savransky piece - and likely save a lot of money compared to going to a jeweller a number of steps along the transaction process (source to store via distributors).

We really enjoyed the guide and the opportunity to see the trading floor. We also enjoyed the coffee and truffles. However we were very disappointed when the tour ended when we didn’t purchase a $5,000 piece of jewelry from the guide, and we were never given the opportunity to learn to use a loupe, other tools, or received our souvenir diamond dust. For transportation, we weren’t expecting to be in a taxi, which was fine, but confusing based the description of an air conditioned vehicle.

We took a dive into the fascinating world of diamonds. Thanks to Hanan and Sigal we were able to get into the inner circle of the Bourse, we got a glimpse of „the floor“ and Hanan explained everything about the buying and selling of this trade; later we saw how and where the magic of the actual cutting of the stones happen. All the time we felt like total VIPs since it was just us in the tour. You later get the opportunity to purchase a piece of art in Hanan‘s jewellery store but there is no pressure whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this tour and will do it again with guests once they can visit Israel again.

I totally received the Royal treatment. Yael was very great in communicating after I booked my trip. Yael was great in making sure I got picked up on time and was even willing to get me from the airport. 💎-Gayla is who I met in person first and she made me feel completely comfortable. I had a ton of questions and she answered them all and did NOT seem annoyed or agitated at all. 💎-Gayla was super knowledgable I learned so much information about diamonds and the jewelry business. I even got to hold and see a huge 12 carat diamond. It was well worth the money I paid. I personally think they do not charge enough. If you are considering this tour do it and request Gayla and Yael. At the end Yael did appear and she taught me how to tell a real Diamond from a fake, and the different clarity’s Cut’s and prices. Both Yael & Gayla were super professional the entire time. Gayla at the end even walked me out to the driver and made sure I got back to hotel okay. This wasn’t a five star service it was a 7 Diamond service 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎

Good Vibes with Gayla and Yael. We didn't need to go to any party we brought the party to us and had fun with the diamond district tour.. Tour guides are well versed in the diamond trade, and how diamonds are made. Also, I highly appreciate Hanan and Michael team. Who knew Israel and Belgium are Diamond powerhouses in the globe?! They made a real effort to ensure transport pickup and drop off was smooth, that I enjoyed myself and all my questions were answered. We decided to do the Diamond Exchange tour. Something I had never thought about doing in Tel Aviv. Turned out ti be so interesting. We fussiest went through the security checkpoint then entered a whole world on its own. We saw the Diamond cutters at work shaping the stones. We saw the technology of how the stones are sized and evaluated. Walked through the trading floors and finally got to see the exquisite final products in the showroom. Our hosts were so welcoming and informative. Our transport from our hotel was also covered.

Guides (Asaf and new guide) were extremely knowledgeable and we were able to view all aspects of the process including actual polishing of diamonds in the factory. A tour of the Diamond Exchange and then carefully personalized ring selection and design that could only be achieved because Hanan is also the designer. Our experience with Hanan and his staff at the Israel Diamond Exchange was impressive. We had the chance to visit the amazing infrastructure of the building outside of the busy trading hours. The tour was very interesting and totally worth doing. Our guide Yael gave us fascinating insider information about the diamond exchange and taught us a lot about diamonds. We were able to see the cutting process in a factory right outside the diamond exchange. We visited the technology sector of the exchange in wich stones are tested and computerized wich was fascinating. And the best part we were able to try on different rings and jewelry from Mr.Savransky made in israel wich were breathtaking.
