The David Kempinski Tel Aviv

The hotel is absolutely amazing, and Esther the lady in red made the end of our trip even more special. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality were unforgettable. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, the room was exceptional, and the pool and restaurants were outstanding. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back every year. I travel extensively and have become a student of organizational excellence. I regularly review restaurants and hotels and often speak about what separates good organizations from truly exceptional ones. This is, however, my first review specifically of a hotel pool, but after years of visiting the David Kempinski Tel Aviv, I would be remiss not to write it. In my experience, many businesses have “islands of excellence”, an exceptional employee or memorable interaction here and there. Far rarer is a system of excellence, where service, professionalism, attention to detail, and warmth are consistent across an entire team and sustained over time. That is exactly what Saar Wex and his team have created at the Kempinski pool. Saar, Jabe, Anatoly, Stas, Dvir, Harel, Egor, Iftach, Nelya, Shahar, Maxime, Marcos, Neoray, Shaked and Alon operate almost in symbiosis. My apologies to anyone I may have inadvertently omitted. What stands out isn’t simply their individual service, but how seamlessly they work together, anticipating needs, communicating with one another, and making exceptional service feel effortless. Great service can occasionally happen by accident. Consistently great service cannot. The Kempinski in Tel Aviv has built a culture where professionalism comes without stiffness, attentiveness without intrusion, and warmth without feeling rehearsed. The pool itself is beautiful, overlooking the Mediterranean, but beautiful pools exist all over the world. Culture is much harder to build than a beautiful swimming pool. After years of visiting, perhaps the greatest compliment I can give the team is that their excellence no longer surprises me. It is simply what they do.

I stayed at the Kempinski in May 2026 and it was the best experience I ever had in a hotel in Israel. Everything was perfect, from the rooms, to the view, breakfast, the spa. I also want to thank the staff, especially Tommy, who was extremely friendly and made sure that every request was taken care of immediately as well as Julie, who was so kind as to offer us a massage.

I came to celebrate my birthday at the Kempinski and had such a wonderful and memorable stay. Every time I walked back into the room, there seemed to be another surprise waiting for me: beautiful welcome amenities, cake and champagne, a lovely plate of bon bons with a handwritten note, thoughtful turndown service, and even balloons waiting for me the morning of my birthday. At breakfast, the staff also congratulated me and offered me a glass of champagne, which was such a lovely touch. Everything was done with so much care and attention to detail, and it truly made me feel celebrated and gave me a truly memorable birthday. Thank you to the entire team for such an incredible experience. I look forward to coming back next year!!
