This hotel is the least accommodating Marriott we’ve ever stayed in. We stay in Marriott’s 100 nights a year and any other Marriott offers breakfast or room upgrades frequently. We came for our wedding and thought this hotel would be nice but started reaching out weeks ago about trying to get our family and friend’s rooms nearby on a same floor. The hotel communication was terrible ahead of time and then the manager was very rude when we arrived and did nothing to try and fix their mistakes. We asked about some accommodations to resolve this and they said everything would be an upcharge with no discount. We will definitely not be staying here in the future and would advise you look elsewhere
We stayed at this hotel for Shavuot and Shabbat — two nights, two days. I'll start with the positive: the hotel service was outstanding, honestly the best we've experienced in Israel, and we've stayed at many hotels here, including some of the top ones. The staff really knows what they're doing. However, the pricing for the holiday meals is simply incomprehensible. We were charged 800 NIS per adult for the Shavuot meal and 600 NIS per adult for the Shabbat meal. For our 6-year-old child, it was 600 NIS and 450 NIS respectively. These prices are completely out of line. What meal could possibly justify 800 NIS per adult — or 600 NIS for a 6-year-old child? Even Israel's top restaurants don't charge those prices. Hotels really need to bring these prices back down to earth. Charging 600 shekels for a 6-year-old who ends up eating pasta is frankly indecent. We told ourselves it was excessive, but since we're shomer mitzvot we had no real alternative — and we assumed that at those prices, the meal would be truly exceptional. It wasn't. The food was decent, but the variety was limited, there weren't enough stations, and you had to wait in line just to get a piece of meat. And for the Shavuot dessert — at 800 shekels a head — we got tiramisu, cheesecake, and some fruit. Honestly, it's a disgrace. No meal is truly worth 800 shekels, but at the very least the hotel should try to offer something that comes close to exceptional, not something completely standard. At what point does someone look at what's being served and decide, "yes, this is worth 800 shekels per person"? It just doesn't add up. It's a real shame, because this is a beautiful hotel and we would have happily come back. But at these prices, something has to give. The hotel needs to stop overcharging like this — otherwise guests who know what reasonable pricing looks like simply won't return.
Yet another wonderful stay at the Sheraton Tel Aviv - and it never disappoints. This hotel consistently delivers one of the best Marriott Elite recognition experiences I've encountered across my extensive travels. The Club Lounge stands in a league of its own - arguably the finest in the country and easily among the best I've visited worldwide. The hotel is impeccably clean, the rooms have been recently renovated to a high standard, and the breathtaking ocean views are simply unmatched. What truly sets this property apart, however, is its people. Every single staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention must go to Henri, the Front Office Manager, who embodies five-star hospitality on every level. Without fail, on each and every stay, he goes above and beyond to make you feel like a true VIP - that kind of consistency and personal touch is rare and deeply appreciated. I will absolutely be back, again and again!
We’ve stayed at the Sheraton Tel Aviv multiple times for different events and occasions, and every single time they have maintained an exceptionally high standard. Consistency like this is rare, and it’s one of the reasons we keep coming back. The renovated rooms are absolutely incredible — modern, beautifully designed, spacious, and always spotless. You can really feel the attention to detail and quality throughout the hotel. The food is amazing as well — rich, fresh, and varied, whether it’s breakfast or special event catering. What truly makes the experience outstanding, though, is the staff. The service is warm, professional, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Henri from the reception. He is always there with a smile, always willing to help, and truly goes above and beyond. He makes a point of asking whether we’re celebrating anything special, and whenever we are, he makes sure there’s a thoughtful treat waiting for us in the room. Those personal touches make all the difference and turn a great stay into a memorable one. Highly recommended — we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
