Usually I don’t like to add some bad review especially in Israël. But this time I need unfortunately. Its the worst 5star hotel that I have seen in my whole life. The service is even terrible and I will not speak about the swimming pool without sun

I arrived about 20 hours before the U.S. bombed Iran on Feb 28, 2026. At first, I was extremely annoyed at the staff because they didn't warn me about the closed roads surrounding the hotel due to the Tel Aviv marathon. I had to drag my luggage about half a mile given all of the closed roads and the staff showed absolutely no concern. However, once the bombs started to fall, they were fantastic. They helped me download the warning app and, in general, were wonderful. I realized that the staff problems mentioned in other reviews are due to a cultural problem -- many of the staff are Russian immigrants who start with the harsh Russian service tradition and have that compounded by Israeli gruffness. It doesn't make for a great service culture. As someone who spent my career teaching cross-cultural communications, including more than a decade at the top US school for hotel administration, I actually found it somewhat funny. Isrotel could change the service culture with an intensive training program and an appropriate incentive system, but they'd have to bring in an expert. BTW, the hotel is in a great location for a war because between bomb shelter calls, it is possible to walk to the beach or go to the Carmel market and have plenty of time to get back with the warning. Let's hope that attribute won't be valuable again.
We recently stayed at the Royal Beach Tel Aviv Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. If you are looking for a luxurious, modern, and perfectly located hotel in Tel Aviv, this is absolutely the place to choose. From the moment we walked into the grand lobby, we knew we were in for a fantastic experience. The Location The location is unbeatable. It sits right on the famous Tayelet (promenade), meaning the gorgeous Mediterranean beach is literally just a few steps across the street. We loved being able to walk straight out the doors onto the sand, and the hotel is within easy walking distance to excellent local restaurants, vibrant markets, and the historic streets of Old Jaffa. The Rooms & Views Our room was stunning—spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-tier. However, the true highlight was the floor-to-ceiling window looking out over the sea. Watching the spectacular Tel Aviv sunset directly from our room with a glass of wine was an unforgettable highlight of our trip. World-Class Facilities The Pool Area: The outdoor pool deck is magnificent. It overlooks the sea, has plenty of comfortable sun loungers, and offers a fantastic bar where you can order refreshing drinks and snacks. It feels like an exclusive beach club. The Breakfast: The morning buffet was outstanding. The selection was vast, featuring everything from fresh Israeli salads, cheeses, and shakshuka to delicious pastries and made-to-order eggs. The Service: The staff truly makes this hotel shine. Every team member we encountered—from the front desk to the bellhops and pool attendants—was genuinely warm, professional, and eager to help with local recommendations or booking taxis. Visitor Tip: Definitely book a sea-view room if it’s available—waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out at the blue horizon is worth every penny. We had a flawless experience at the Royal Beach Tel Aviv and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city for leisure or business. We cannot wait to return!
My stay here with my friend was exceptional. The room, and the views are comfortable and beyond words. The breakfast was a five star buffet with exceptional service ! The spa is a must. The staff is incredible and especially the manager made us feel at home ! Thank you for your amazing hospitality !
Rooms, service, location in general are all top notch. I wanted to bring out some details so far in our stay: Ronen from Maintenance came to help us with the TV and was just really lovely and friendly all around, pleasant man to talk to while doing his job professionally and making sure to tell me whats the next step to follow up. The guest service round at night was special: housekeeping came around seeing if we needed to replenish anything at around 8pm maybe. I thought that was super accommodating. Breakfast is worth waiting for, I just hope that with all that abundance, the rest of the leftovers dont go to waste. The reception desk is of course always staffed with excellent, professional, pleasant men and women. Noam checked us in on Monday and was just exceptionally welcoming, with that extra extra touch that made my daughter feel special on her bat mitzvah/12th birthday. They also placed wine and a box of chocolates in our room. Lastly, just cuz Im smitten: the bar of hand soap in our bathroom was just a magical mixture of like peppermint and jasmine. To die for. I know its just soap but omg. I highly recommend if you want to make someone feel special, this is the hotel to go to.
