Stuart Ocean Manor

Stayed here for 5 days/4 nights in August 2013. Impressive European-style structure by the Pacific on the east coast of Taiwan. Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Daily comp afternoon tea served with heavenly Tiramisu. Delightful swimming pool day and the starry night in the hot summer. Friendly and easy conversational host and hostess with good staff service overall. Clean rooms with all the necessary toiletries. AC makes this elegant B&B even more inviting. Fond memories in summer 2013. Unfortunately, I couldn't book it again this past July because it was all full throughout July and most of August.

Our room was spacious and clean and right next to the ocean so the view was fantastic. When we arrived, it was close to the evening so we didn’t have a chance to walk around. The air in the room was stuffy and the blankets felt damp. The room has a wet towel smell that was overwhelming. However when I tried opening the balcony doors, the ocean waves were loud so it was not comfortable. Not sure if it’s because we stayed right next to the ocean or if it’s because our room is situated beneath the infinity pool. It was a good one time experience. I am on the fence with recommending this place. You can get a much better and well ventilated place for the same price somewhere else.

We came here for a family trip. The overall experience was very good. We stayed in the ocean front room and enjoyed the nice ocean view from the room / balcony and even the bath tub. The hotel had access to the pebble-filled beach which was really private and secluded. The overall service was nice as well. We left tip at the breakfast table and they returned it. There was a nice lady named “美美” who was super patient and helped us take some nice photos. She was super nice too at breakfast.

Beautiful place with the best view on the shoreline. Loved the infinity pools. We arrived early in the afternoon and were welcomed by the staff and afternoon tea (drinks and cakes.) We had the villa room on the 2nd floor with one king bed and one queen bed. The room was super spacious and the mattresses were very comfortable. There's a small balcony overlooking the small pool and Pacific ocean. The breakfast buffet was really nice too. Overall a great stay. Good for couples or young families. Definitely recommend!
