This place was an amazing experience. It has a quaint atmosphere with great access to the towns nearby and the amazing hosts had the best attitudes and were always more than willing to help not including them taking in every question and ask without any hesitation and with haste I might add they had completely complimentary food and drinks as well as a VHS television with one of the oldest video and VHS rental stores in the entire country right next door? I will recommend this place to everyone who asks for as long as I live.
One of the most charming places we've stayed on the Oregon coast. We booked a single night at the Starry Night and immediately wished we'd booked longer.
The artwork is what makes this place. Original pieces fill the house and the rooms, all beautifully curated, and I liked one enough to buy it and bring it home, "Sparkling Cannon," an acrylic by Caroline Green. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The amenities are thoughtful and generous, well beyond what you'd expect from a six room inn, and the whole property has real personality instead of feeling like a standard hotel room.
One practical note for future guests: our room had a deep soaking tub rather than a standing shower. There is a shower head attached to the tub faucet, so you're covered either way. Just good to know going in.
We're already planning a return trip where we rent all three rooms in the main house and bring family along. It would be an ideal setup for a group. Highly recommended if you want somewhere with charm rather than just a place to sleep.
Such a comfy, cozy stay. The comfiest bed and pillows ever!! Immaculately clean, thoughtful touches everywhere. Wonderful variety of snacks, coffee and tea. Close walking distance to the beach promenade. Parking is a bit tight as it’s a smaller busy street/area but overall highly recommend.
This is one of the most unique places in Seaside and absolutely my new go-to. The lodge is filled with beautiful art and so many thoughtful amenities. It's amazing how many things are provided and the owners/staff clearly care deeply about the comfort of their guests. The cabin room is outfitted well with cups, bowls, silverware, a microwave, mini fridge, and more. The bed is very comfortable with cozy bedding and lots of pillows. Artwork on the walls is gorgeous. Can't wait to stay here again in the future and try out the soaking tubs.
Stayed in "the stowaway" and the room was sooooo cute. I loved my tiny nook to hide in. I want one in my house!
The bedding was very soft. Everything was clean.
I love the downstairs area. Enjoyed my oj and coffee as well as snacks. 10/10 I *will* be back.
