Normans B&b

Debbie the owner of the Norman text us to see approximately what time we would arrive and even let us know our room would be ready earlier than the stated check in. We went to the hotel first and Debbie handed us our parking pass, took our luggage and pointed us to where the car was which was only a short walk away. I asked Debbie did she have a fan for the room as it was quite a warm day. When we returned Debbie had already put an upright fan in our room and asked us if we had ever been to Whitby before. My wife had not and it had been a number of years since I had been so Debbie gave us a download of information which was really helpful and she had also compiled a folder n our room with a lot to f local info also. Our room was a bit small but immaculately clean and even had a small desktop fridge in the wardrobe to keep drinks cool. The beds were comfortable and they even supplied local Botham biscuits as well as Yorkshire Tea and Nescafé Gold Blend. All in all a very good start to our stay. As many review’s state the breakfast was very good but you have to let Debbie know what time you would like breakfast. Which is understandable as if everyone turned up at the same time there may not be able to sit everyone. If there’s only one recommendation I would propose would be to install blackout curtains as being summer the room was daylight at around 4am. Overall we had a great time and Debbie was a magnificent host as were all the team we met.

Just had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Norman guest house. Deborah and the team were very nice and made us feel very welcome ,we stayed in the railway room wich was beautifully decorated and exceptional clean ,continental breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. Everything was in easy walking distance which was nice not having to use the car all weekend , we will definitely be returning.

A great location and a wonderfully presented B&B! Deborah is a great host and the staff very attentive. Immaculate, lovely breakfast! A brilliant 3 day weekend and our place to go next year!!😁👍

Had a fantastic stay at the Norman Guest House. Deborah and the staff were brilliant with an excellent knowledge of Whitby and the surrounding area. Great room very clean and close to Whitby town centre everything you need for a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be returning.
