Wouldn't return nor recommend to anyone! Our experience here is bad enough we told our family friends who also made reservations to avoid here. Over priced family resort that didn't deliver. It has a lot to offer; however, the resort's intetnal communication is so bad that it's making the patrons suffer. Check-in process is extremely slow, expect to spend lots of time waiting, not only for check in, but also for some of the facilities. They messed up our orders, our shuttle bus reservations - hadn't we checked we would've missed our train due to the mistake. The staff (other than front desk) are all very helpful and friendly. Front desk has a lot of issues and internal communication is definitely a big problem, and as a patron, we shouldn't have to be punished for their mistakes, especially when they charge such hefty prices. The food experience is below mediocre, we've stayed for 2 nights, the food options are 90% same for all meals. Really not impressed. I think this establishment has the facilities to be a great resort, but their internal communication, not well trained, unprofessional front desk staff made this an awful experience for our family vacation. Don't bother coming unless you have too much money to burn or have very low expectations.

A lot of the staff are unfriendly, and some are openly hostile. There was hair in the breakfast buffet food twice. A lot of places, including the main restaurant and children's play room were clearly not properly clean. It should be a great hotel, but you get the feeling that management doesn't care about their guests.
My wife and I were denied entry to the hotel by a night parking attendant because we hadn't scheduled an appointment?? How could we have known that if the purpose of our visit to reception was to get information and decide whether or not to stay? This parking lot attendant treated us as if we were unworthy, with a look of disdain and an attitude that forced us to leave the parking lot in a hurry! There are so many praises for Taiwanese politeness that I was shocked by the deplorable treatment we received. And we didn't come from the United States to spend our vacation and be disrespected by an entitled hotel parking attendant in Taiwan!
We had a very pleasant stay at the resort. The resort facilities and the resort room were amazing, as well as the staff. The staff was very helpful, the Director Michelle in particular. She helped us loads when we had trouble to get back to Taipei as tourists in Hong Kong. Thanks to her, we bought the train tickets successfully and continued to enjoy our journey in Taiwan. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay. We certainly will come stay at the resort again! 😄
A new European styled hotel has some face value but lacks follow through for the price. The light switch in the bathroom was broken and couldn’t turn off and the thermostat also didn’t work. The room ‘hot’ spring was lukewarm. The TV had language options that failed. The last bartender shift in Music Bar was horrible and maybe didn’t intend to keep an extra 600NTD when I ordered a drink to get change to do some laundry? No particular order of disappointment, it’s just overall disappointing. I typically post great reviews but am honest always. It feels a bit of a scam if you are used to traveling. Being fluent in Mandarin or Taiwanese makes no difference. Buyer beware, or don’t care. Maybe it’s nicer for 6-12yr olds who can afford and appreciate this silliness. Note: we are in a group of over a dozen and I would expect accommodations be able to reciprocate the value invested.
