I signed up for the 3 hrs Tangier Medina walking tour with Omar. It was great. He specifically asked what I wanted to see/do and tried to tailor the 3 hrs walk to suit my needs. He took me to some of the unique landmarks inside the Medina and he knew the history behinds these unique places (which is great). He also took me to shopping (which I requested) to buy some authentic Moroccan handicrafts. I would recommend this tour if you have half a day free time and want to explore the city a big more.

Omar was a great guide and even better, he knew so many people that we felt part of the Medina rather than outsiders. It was a fun, interesting, enlightening experience and Omar far surpassed out expectations. I can heartedly recommend his tour for seeing the Medina from "the inside out".

Affordable tour that covered the basics. My tour guide’s English was not great. He texted me the same morning asking to be 30 minutes later than originally scheduled. The information provided covered the basics and nothing more. After the first hour walking we stopped by a cafe to get mint tea and I guess that was his break because the tour guide spent all the time on his phone rather than sharing info about the mint tea or anything Tangier-related. Not sure if it had anything to do with my gender (woman traveling solo) but my guide was not very engaging.

I went on the Walking Tour of Tangier with Omar today and really enjoyed it. Omar is great, really nice, very helpful, and knowledgeable and I was immediately comfortable with him. In the Medina there are lots of great shops and everyone was really friendly. I also saw the Casbah, the museum and lots more. The local markets were incredible you can see that there is so much culture in Tangier and a lot of interesting history; lots to learn. I’m glad I went on this tour with Omar. He is very knowledgeable and I saw so much I would never have seen on my own. This tour was amazing and I recommend Omar to anyone. Thanks to Omar for a great tour!!

I can't recommend this tour enough!! Mohcin was an amazing guide and taught me so much about the city and the Moroccan culture! The tour was filled with so many amazing spots including a museum, local shops and markets. I also had an incredible lunch with authentic Moroccan cuisine that I never would have experienced without him. I also liked having the option to customize my tour and skip over anything I didn't want to do and spend more time in other places. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a flexible walking tour full of history, culture and fun!

Omar, as well as our driver, are gentlemen. We were first taken on a drive through some beautiful neighborhoods, shown some interesting landmarks, and provided with some beautiful views of the city scapes and oceans. Omar then walked us through old neighborhoods and back streets while providing us with information about the history, culture and current trends in the area. We ended the tour at a local family-run restaurant. We enjoyed a sampling of traditional recipes. This tour perfectly met what we were looking for.

Radi was amazing! I only had a day and a half in Tangier, and I was able to see almost everything I wanted with just this tour. Radi was full of information about the history and culture of the area, which I only knew a little bit about beforehand. I’m also a female traveling alone, and I felt very safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this your for anyone spending a day or more in Tangier!

The walking tour in Tangier was a lot of fun. Omar was great and very knowledgeable. He speaks great English and is very friendly. There is so much to see in the Tangier Medina. This tour was excellent! Omar and Mossein they took me to the Kasbah Museum, Kasbah, Old Medina, fish market, Berber Market, fruit market, drive along the corniche. Lots of fun very knowledgeable, friendly and safe. They translated when needed. Highly recommended for a solo traveler or group.

If you are in Tangier you need to book a tour with Mohamed. This was the highlight of my trip. Mohamed has been doing tours for 25 years and knows exactly where to go if you want to visit local sites. He is incredibly knowledgeable about history, kind, and flexible with the tour. I would take this tour again in a heartbeat and looking forward to coming back. Mohamed knows many different languages fluently as well bad it made his guidance that much easier.

This was the best tour I took in Tangier! Our guides were so knowledgeable and patient with me and my mom. They understood that we both wanted to see different parts of the city and accommodated to our wants. They were also very friendly! Omar was great he picked us up on time and told us the history of each spot we went to. He also speaks so many different languages! For part of the tour we had to drive a little, even though most of the tour is walking, but it was nice to have the cool AC blowing and the Wi-Fi in his car while we went from place to place. Would definitely recommend! PS Omar took my pictures and they came out great!

I would like to say this was a good experience but it was very average. The 2 young guides were charming and for the most entertaining but we clearly got the impression they would have rather been doing something else with their time. They were late to pick us up by almost half an hour and we were the only ones on the tour and finished the tour after 2.40 hours - short of the 3 hours stated. They wasted time in some areas and we missed a couple of the sights we expected to see. We were expected to see the. “Carpet “ seller and the “traditional “ garment merchants for the usual hard sell. We were clear it was not what we wanted as we are in Morocco for some weeks yet. Some maturity needed to understand what customers actually want for their money. If you are time poor and want to do shorter tours do your research on each tour operator to ascertain real value for your time and money. This unfortunately was not of them on the day. A poor impression lingers.

This experience was a perfect way to introduce us to the Medina for the first time. Omar was very patient with our large group, including kids. He loves this city and knows it like the back of his hand. His trip includes a stop to have a bite and also a tour of a rug making shop. He picked us up at our front door and walked back with. I highly recommend this tour! Well done Omar!

We met Omar and his friend in our very first night in Tangier and they were both so welcoming from the start! They made us feel right at home in Tangier. I can’t recommend them enough, we spent a lovely time with them as they took us around the old medina and the new city. Saw some lovely viewpoint during the night and Omar really made himself available to us anytime we needed during our trip :) 👍🏻

Super nice guides! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. They take you to some amazing places and shops where they make you feel like a king. Highly recommend the trip to anyone who's not sure of what to do or see. They had a great plan for the day and followed through spectacularly. From the camel ride in the beach and the berber market to the drive on the coast and the forest, they stopped at some great foto spots! If you get a chance definitely book with Omar.

The experience with Omar was not great. I can't believe he brought us to a restaurant that charged us 4 times the price of a normal one, we only had 2 teas a coke, 2 cold pastries, 2 cold salads and 2 tagines with a tiny piece of chicken all for 460 diraham. That's outrageous. The man serving us at the beginning pretended he didn't know english, but by the end spoke it perfectly. We trusted Omar since he was our guide and was very disappointed. His tour of the medina was only 15 minutes and not 45 minutes like promised (he probably counted the time he took to help is buy bus tickets) all of which we still tipped him 100 dirham for. And I was not happy about how pushy he was to make us write a review for him as soon as he got back to make sure it was good and he was present.

Omar & Kareem were amazing! They walked us ALL OVER the Medina, Kasbah, etc of Tangier. They met us, early 😀, at our hotel and off we went. They know local shop owners and took us to amazing places. We had an absolutely fantastic tour with them and learned a lot about Morocco and Tangier. Great personalities and awesome guides!

Nice experience! Already on the way to get to the meeting point the driver explained what we saw, the neighborhoods we passed through. The language barrier absolutely did not prevent us from enjoying the start of the visit. Thank you for finding us a French guide to make the moment more pleasant and easy. We were able to discover another facet of Tangier and the richness of its history. Thanks a lot.

I spent a great activity with Omar and Mohsine these two people allowed me to visit Tangier in more detail. They were welcoming warm and very kind. I recommend any tourist to do this activity sincerely.
