The tour was well organized. We were picked up in a nice van from our hotel and driven to the location. We had one rest stop and enjoy the pastry and drink. When we arrived our tour guide had excellent English and was very easy to communicate with. He took us around the Medina, which is shopping area And we enjoyed wonderful conversation. There was not a lot of history given about the city but there was some and overall it was a nice tour. Our driver spoke reasonable English as well and overall we would say that this is well done

The sites at Chefchaouen were incredible and the history and stories were just as incredible. Our two guides, Mohammad and Mohammad were also great. We were driven by one of our guides when the other guide, Mohammad took over the walking tour with history and stories. I strongly encourage the company to keep Mohammad, our walking guide, at any price. He made the tour for all of us.
Guided tour with a knowledgeable guide is necessary to get the full value out of your tour. Our guide was Farid who patiently explained everything, took us for a very good local lunch
Karim and our tour guide, Coca Cola (nickname) were friendly and welcoming. They checked in with us before our tour to make sure everything was ready to go. The tour was informational and we felt welcomed and safe exploring this new continent that we had never been on. We had a great time exploring the Medina, the lunch was awesome, and we loved riding the camels along the ocean! We plan on returning to Africa in the near future, and we will go with Tangier Patito Tours for our next visit!
The owner confirmed our trip as soon as we booked it. We had Abdul as our tour guide/driver. He is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend seeing the Blue city. It rained on and off during our day. But it was a good adventure.
The tour commenced at 0800 sharp. The English speaking driver & tour guide named Abdul was on time. We headed to Blue City- Chefchaouen. There was lots of light discussion about Tangier and Morocco the country on our way to the city. We had a rest stop in Zinat that the tours use. It was clean, working bathrooms, strong guest WIFI and a perfect place to consume a proper breakfast. The scenery was breath taking and we all appreciated Abdul's effort for us to enjoy the day and being comfortable. We headed to blue city which we were able to take pictures and engage with the locals. The shop keepers Abdul allowed us to explore on our own to ensure- we are not being channeled to his friend’s establishments. The day ended by visiting Hercules Cave and Cap Spartel. It was a full day and were safety dropped off. In the end it was well worth the money and we enjoyed ourselves having a private tour with Abdul. There is room for improvements. Moving forward, Abdul's boss named Karim who booked our tour and created a day plan should have shared those full arrangements with Abdul so he could have better "time managed." The Hercules cave was not fully explored d/t the time of our arrival- which was night fall and closing time. This is not on Abdul but on his boss- Karim. Also, Karim was also given feedback by myself that WIFI in the car means exactly that. Westerners do not use other folks WIFI- aka hot spots. Therefore, he could explain that better to us and as a tour operator and owner he should know the difference in terms of expectations- felt a bit misleading.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! The communication was great, our guide Abdul was great, and our driver and vehicle--you guessed it-- were great! Chefchaouen is absolutely worth visiting and we were very pleased to have booked this tour. Would highly recommend.
First off, I want to state that I would give this review more stars if possible! My brother and I booked the tour and were extremely fortunate to have Abdul as our guide. Abdul was profesional and a pleasure to be around from the moment he picked us up at our Riad to the moment he took us back. Abdul surprised my brother and I by asking if we would like to visit the UNESCO heritage site of Tétouan, which we enthusiastically agreed to. After that, we went to Chefchaouen where Abdul led us throughout the city and brought us to various areas for beautiful photo opportunities. Abdul did all of this while providing us with the history of the cities and ensuring we were well hydrated - with water and orange juice! In addition to this, the vehicle we were in was extremely spacious and clean. Finally, I'd like to add that my brother and I enjoyed talking to Abdul as a person. One of the highlights of the day was when the three of stopped at a Cafe and talked over some drinks while we looked at the mountains and lake. Thank you Abdul for giving my brother and I a fantastic day tour!
We were picked up at our hotel by a representative of the company who guided us to the van that drove us to Chefcauen. The 2 hour drive included a short coffe break. At Chefcauen we were met by our guide Abdeslam. Though he wasn’t a young guy any longer, he took up and down the narrow streets and shared the story and secrets of this beautiful city. Abdeslam speaks 6 languages.
It was a lovely. Is it to the blue city. I went on a quiet day so it was very laid back with no long lines for picture taking. My hide wa amazing and knowledge.
Our guides took care of us from the moment we got off the train until we left the next day! They took care of everything from getting us to an ATM safely to showing us the most “Instagramable” places in Chefchaouen and playing photographer. Absolutely amazing service, so knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend Karim and his team to anyone coming to Morocco. We had several hours of driving where they told us local history, general information about Morocco, and even taught us a little Arabic. If I could give them six stars out of five, I would.
I can’t thank Patitotangiertours.com enough! I would rate this company 10 stars if they allowed! Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!! From the moment we booked till the end of the tour they went above and beyond. Karim and Abu provided us with the direction we needed, the knowledge we yearned for, and great company. They were very personable, putting us immediately at ease. I highly recommend them for all your travel needs in Tangier!
As a single, female traveler, this was definitely the way to go to get out of the city and see something safely that has always been a dream of mine, learn along the way and feel safe doing so. The driver, guide and company owner(!) took great care of me and were a wealth of knowledge about the town, region, and country, making the drive to and from Chefchaouen enjoyable and memorable. There is a clean rest stop both on the way to and fro (inside a friend's restaurant), so you don't have to worry about making the long trip without stopping... and the team knows where to take all of the best photos! I didn't eat while there, although it was an option, however as it was the month of Ramadan, I opted to just wander and enjoy with the company of my companions. I loved this day and was probably my favorite of my entire week all around Morocco and would recommend this to anyone interested in seeing an unforgettable blue town! Ooh.. and the communication leading up to (and following) the trip itself was really nicely tailored. They want to make sure your experience is one that is specific to what you are wanting to get out of the day and the pickup/dropoff was prompt, if not early! Thank you guys!
Today we visited Chefchaouen with Karim’s driver. The city is wonderful and the driver was perfect in everithing. Choose them for your tours and you will not regret! Thank’you to Karim and his drivers!
I went to Morocco for my birthday with the plan for Chefchaouen being the highlight of the trip. I was not disappointed. I was picked up by Karim Patito at my riad in Tangier and driven straight to Chef City with a brief stop at a roadside cafe to get pictures and some water. Once I arrived, I was greeted by Nouman, my guide. He showed me around the blue city giving me a history lesson while stopping in little shops to purchase freshly baked bread and converse with the residents. Since this was a solo trip, I was able to spend a little more time walking around the city. I would do this tour again and if I could spend several days there, I would.
A visit to Chefchaouen is a memorable day trip from Tangier and you will be glad you booked it with this group. We were met precisely on time at our BnB by Karim who took care of us during our time in Tangier. He is very attentive and I recommend him highly. Being treated first class and chauffeured around in a Mercedes for three days was surprisingly affordable. Traveling through the majestic Atlas Mountains we arrived at Chefchaouen where our local tour guide Norman was waiting for us. A village native and recent years college graduate, he knows all the ins and outs of the Blue City of Morocco. There is a tasty lunch break halfway through and more interesting sights of the medina the remainder of the day. You will be back at your hotel in time for dinner
Mohamed was a great driver- very friendly and timely. He even walked along the tour with us to make sure our group stayed together and to answer any questions. He was a great and safe driver and made our trip super easy! Noman is a great tour guide. He is from Chefchaouen so is very knowledgeable about the city. He even showed us his home and neighborhood during the walk. He was really friendly and excited to share the city with us. He knows a lot of the history and knows the good shops to go to for rugs and art. He exceeded our expectations, and the city is so beautiful. We had a really amazing time!
I booked this tour with my wife about a week and a half before our trip to Morocco. I was surprised, impressed, and extremely happy when Karim contacted me via WhatsApp to introduced himself and get a feel for what I was looking for out of my tour. Karim and his partners personally picked us up from the airport the night we arrived to help with our hotel transfer, which made us feel confident and safe. What I really liked was his willingness to be flexible on time, letting us set the schedule for when would like to be picked up the following morning for Chefchaouen. Our driver picked us up at 9am, and was friendly and knowledgeable. He would point different things out on the drive, giving us facts about the local people, land, etc. He even stopped for us when we wanted to taste berries that small children were selling on the side of the road. Oh and there is wifi in the car if you want to use it. Once in Chefchaouen we met up with Ahmed, who was extremely knowledgeable with the history of the city. He walked us around showing us the highlights and letting us wander and take pictures. The Blue City is so beautiful! What a hidden gem! I can't believe it is real. Ahmed knows the best spots for stopping to take pictures, and he happens to take really good photos! It was obvious that everyone cared about making sure we enjoyed ourselves, and it showed. When we were done, our driver was ready and waiting for us to take us back to Tangier, where Karim insisted on showing us the around the city. We walked through the narrow streets, sampled the vendors' stores, and wandered the Medina. He is incredibly knowledgeable, with tons of history and facts. We ended the day with tea at Karim's home, which was so generous we were stunned. He and his partners go above and beyond. He even follows up with us now that we're home, checking in and saying hello. I highly recommend this tour!
I have wanted to travel to Chefchaouen for years, and my dream was finally coming true. For that reason, my husband and I wanted to make sure we picked the best tour to make sure we had a smooth, flawless, absolutely incredible tour. I am SO happy we went with Karim. We knew we made the right choice when Karim contacted us via WhatsApp a week before our trip. He introduced himself, asked what we would like to see specifically, what types of things interested us, etc. Coming from Los Angeles, it was a major trek to get to Tangier, let alone Chefchaouen. Karim and his partners picked us up from the airport the night we arrived, and took us to our hotel, which alleviated the madness of trying to communicate with random taxi drivers in the dead of the night. Karim was incredibly flexible on time, and let us choose when we would like to be picked up the following morning for Chefchaouen. The drive to Chefchaouen was so easy! Our driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the ride smooth with classic tunes, wifi if you want, and any stops along the way to take photos and have tea. Once in Chefchaouen we met up with Ahmed, who was the best tour guide I could ask for. He was filled with facts, dates, history, random bits of knowledge, etc.! Literally any question you had, he knew the answer. He was very patient with us, as we like to take our time to explore and wander around. The Blue City is STUNNING! It is as if you have stepped into a painting! The many shades of blue dripping into the cobblestone streets, along with the colorful items handing from vendors' doors is a sight to see. On top of giving you information, Ahmed knows the best spots for photo opps- and he takes fantastic photos! He truly cares about making sure we enjoyed ourselves, and it showed. We spent the day indulging in the beauty of the city and the friendliness of the locals. When we were done, our driver was ready and waiting for us to take us back to our hotel. Overall, such a special day that I will never forget!
Both the driver and the guide were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Whole experience was fascinating and thrilling. Highly recommended.
Wonderful tour today to the Beautiful City of Chefchaouen with Karim and Patito Private Tours! We enjoyed the tour of the city, and Karim also gave us an informative tour of Tangier Kasbah and the market. He is so accommodating and cheerful, it was very nice! Thank you!🙏😄
I can’t say enough about Karim. I unfortunately had a handful of travel issues that made my time in Tangier a bit of a mess. Karim was there to help me the entire time. He is truly a standup man. At the end of my time with him, I had gained a friend. He went above and beyond to make my experience easy. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and honorable to tour you during your time in Tangier, then I can say Karim is your guy.
My wife was very keen to visit Chefchaouen during our brief stay in Tangier. We were very happy that we took the decision to book Omar tours. Karim was in touch with us prior to the trip and we were picked up from our hotel promptly at 8am. The drive of two hours was very comfortable as we had the Mercedes van to ourselves and our driver Nizar was very nice and took good care to ensure we were comfortable! We were met by our guide in the blue city and being a local, he knew all the right places to take us for our photo ops. The lunch at the restaurant was okay. Since we were staying in the old city, Nizar escorted us to our hotel. Overall we had just the trip we wanted and I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to visit Chefchaouen!
While on our honeymoon we had planned to visit Tangier from Spain and felt we wanted to see the real Morocco. Tangier is more of a boarder town with its hassles and hustles. I found this tour on trip advisor and booked a day tour to Chefchaouen the day before we left Tarifa on the ferry. And they responded quickly and wanted to know what we were wanting to do while at Chefchaouen. My wife and I were picked up at our hotel promptly at 8 am as promised and our driver took great care to make us feel comfortable. We drove thru Tangier and into the mountains in a very nice Mercedes van all by ourselves with WiFi. Half way to our destination we stopped at a scenic view for photos and had a mint tea. When we arrived to Chefchaouen we were met by our guide and started our adventures thru the blue city. He knew all the great spots for views and photos that will make my Instagram explode with colors. He told us the history of the town, the buildings, & took great care to show us a great time. He was very funny and had stories about everything. After a wonderful tour he took us to a roof top restaurant by the old castle to eat lunch, then came back for us afterwards and took us back to our driver. We then had a nice drive back to Tangier to catch the ferry in plenty of time. The owner of the company even call me on the drivers phone to check on us and our trip. A great experience all and all.
The tour was really beautiful and exciting; we got everything we wanted and more! We were able to ride camels on the beach which was a really fun experience. We got to see Hercules cave which was absolutely beautiful!! After we drove to Chefchaouen and saw the blue city which was gorgeous as well. Karim was great at arranging everything and Omar was a great tour guide and took a ton of beautiful pictures for us! I would highly recommend this trip because they listen to what you want, take you to eat well, and are very nice!
We arranged our private tour to Chefchaouen just two days in advance. Karim is the manager of Omar tours. He is very quick at responding on messenger and what’s app. We agreed the price (same as Trip Advisor) and we were picked up from the ferry terminal - they were waiting for us - and taken in a Mercedes 7 seater to Chefchaouen with a stop for mint tea on the way. We had a very informative guide in Chefchaouen who knew the history/ stories of the medina and the interesting sites and stories of the people who lived there. We were totally at our own pace, he stopped for photos, took our photos etc. Then we had lunch and were offered more time to explore or to head back, and we were taken back our Riad in Tangiers. Perfectly possible to do this tour and be back for an evening ferry but stay the night in Tangiers!
We arranged a tour to Chefchaouen from Tangier with Omar tours. We had a great time and loved our time in the Blue city. The drive and the weather were great. We have some fantastic pictures of our trip and would recommend to any family's
Omar’s friends took us on a great day of exploring in the blue city of Chefchaouen. The car was spacious, comfy and came with a Moroccan soundtrack to create some atmosphere! The drive through the Rif mountains was beautiful. Omar’s friends were very accommodating, happy to stop for photos, water or whatever we needed. We had just the right amount of time walking through the tiny blue streets of Chefchaouen. We would highly recommend this tour for a day trip to Chefchaouen.
Omar arranged for us to drive from Tangier to the blue city - a 2 hr drive through the mountains. The car was spacious and the views amazing! He selected a rest stop for drinks/food that had stunning views of the mountains and water. Once we arrived at our destination we were mesmerized by the surroundings! He allowed us to tour at our own pace with an English speaking guide who lived in the city. Omar also ensured that we were happy every step of the way from market experiences, photo opportunities, historical and cultural information sharing as well as a traditional Moroccan meal. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide.
It has been an amazing tour, Chefchaouen is a beautiful little village all blue. It's the second time I've used Patito Tours and they're the best. Our guide Majid is a very learned man, he solved all our doubts, during the journey he told us briefly about the history of Tangier, traditions and customs. The whole team of Patito are very friendly, attentive and care that all customers are well all the time. We are very happy and grateful for your attention, we definitely recommend them very much, we are in the best hands.
Very good Enterprise. Attentive and pleasant. Fully recommended equipment. We took a private tour to Chefchaouen. Very good driver.
Our trip to chefchouen was warm, comfortable and very well accompanied by Mustafa. He drives very well in a spacious car and is very nice talker. Recommended very good places and told us about their culture
