Aziz is the best!!! Do not hesitate to choose and book with him. He is a native of Tangier and knows every last alleyway in the city - you can't walk a block without him getting greeted by the vendors and the passersby. He really knows and loves the history of the city and shares it in an accessible and humorous manner. Kids loved it - there is NO WAY we would have been able to see and learn so much without him. Five stars.

We rode the ferry from Tarifa, Spain, and Aziz was waiting to meet us holding a sign with our name as we exited the ferry. After a warm and pleasant greeting, he led us to our private taxi for the day. The tour consisted of both a driving and a walking tour, but since it was raining, we took the driving tour first. Aziz has been guiding tours for many years and has a reputation as the best tour guide in Tangier, and he was recognized everywhere we went. The walking tour took us to many shops through a real market both in and around the Casbah. Not only did he take us to the finest local restaurants, he knew which shops were legitimate for the best local crafts. His knowledge of the city and it’s history was very interesting and he took obvious pride in his city. We highly recommend booking your tour to Tangier with Aziz, you won’t find a better tour guide.

Abdul was amazing, kind, knowledgeable, patient and was beloved by the community. He also had connections to get us the best seat in the house at the best restaurant overlooking the town and ocean. Would highly recommend him! He was waiting with a sign and made the trip so enjoyable and carefree. The community was very friendly as well!

I had to cut my time in Tangier short, but my guide (Rashid) was very accommodating and ensured that I saw/visited the major sites. He was also very knowledgeable about the history and significance of the sites. We concluded the tour with my request to visit to a store that featured high quality Moroccan products and crafts. Rashid delivered on this request as well, taking me to a remarkable store I would have never found if touring/searching on my own.

Highly recommend Aziz. We had a wonderful day exploring Tangier with no stress and a fantastic locals lunch. It was so nice to be met directly off the ferry in a clean car with a driver and not have to worry for the rest of the day, allowing us to just enjoy Morocco.

Aziz is wonderful! Friendly and at your service. Very knowledgeable, and the transportation was awesome. The tour and time with Aziz was great. However, I think the tour could include more history and cultural sites. For example, we went into three different stores that I was not interested in purchasing anything and did not find any value going inside them. Perhaps go where the locals hang out. Or go to a street market. The stores can be skipped and add more interesting things or lacations. The camel ride on the beach was awesome and was the highlight of the tour.

We had a wonderful visit to Tangier with Achraf. A couple of days before our tour he got in touch to see if we wanted him to meet us at the Ferry or if we needed a ride, recommendations, etc. It made us feel like we were in good hands! On the day of the tour, Achraf met us (me, my husband, and 16 yr old son) at our AirBNB in the Medina. We had not had breakfast, so he took us to a wonderful place to eat to start the day. In a very comfortable, air conditioned car, he toured us all around Tangier which exposed us to areas of the city we never would have seen on our own. He was incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the tour to whatever we were interested in seeing. There was no pressure to go to tourist sites if we did not want to though we did take him up on the half hour camel ride on the beach which was fantastic! On our tour back through the Medina, there were stops made at galleries and shops where they clearly were there to serve tourists. Be ready to haggle - it’s expected! No pressure to buy if you don’t want to but it will be hard to resist. We were so happy to have scheduled this tour as it would have been so much harder to see so much and to learn about the history of Morocco and Tangier on our own and with only a couple of days to experience it. (We came over on the ferry from Tarifa for two nights in Tangier). Achraf was very easy to communicate with on WhatsApp and was happy to tailor the tour for us in any way. We would recommend touring with him without reservation! Look forward to coming back!

Wow! What an amazing day. Aziz came highly recommended and I can see why: he communicated really well in WhatsApp before the trip and was there waiting at the port in Tangier when we arrived. We jumped into an air-conditioned Mercedes and we’re whisked off around Tangier to see the new hotels, expensive houses, casino, beaches and a camel ride on the beach, before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. Aziz kept saying the food was quality and I was a little sceptical as I wasn’t sure what we were going to get. But he was right: delicious seafood and tagines, all for very little money. 4 people ate like kings for £45! We then went into the souks and Aziz took us into places we wouldn’t dare visit on our own. It’s a full on experience and perhaps not ideal for young kids but it’s an experience you’ll never forget. A big thanks to Aziz for making the trip so good. He was funny, knowledgeable and told us some great stories about his life as a tour guide, mixing with all sorts famous people.

Aziz #1, as he calls himself, really is number one! My husband and I took a full day tour with Aziz in Tangier. He was professional, warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Aziz spoke to us about the history of Tangier, and showed us sights that really highlighted the cultural richness of the city. We had a wonderful lunch at a restaurant that was decidedly not a tourist trap. He also provided great recommendations for other places to see and to eat. Finally, Aziz's generosity and concern continued once we got back home to the U.S., when he helped us to track the shipment we had purchased in Tangier. He also sent us fabulous pictures of our experience. Aziz helped make our Tangier experience memorable. We will definitely tour with him again when we return.

Very well done tour, mixture of walking/car/food tour. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was being pressured into shopping as I’m not the biggest shopper. I do recognize this is a deeply cultural thing, so I understand that. I just wish I had been more prepared prior. Also I’m a solo traveler. Would still recommend to a friend and had a good time regardless!

We were met at the port by our guide Aziz and his driver for a comprehensive tour of Tangier. We drove out of town past the King’s palace to where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean and enjoyed a camel ride on the beach. Came back to town for a walking tour of the Kasba, such beautiful buildings, while learning about the inhabitants of this icon of Morocco. After leaving the Kasba we entered the Medina, where we purchased cashmere pashminas and enjoyed a delicious Moroccan lunch (€15pp). We then experienced the markets where Berber women were displaying their home grown vegetables, spices, olives, nuts. An assault on the senses and an amazing experience never to be forgotten. We highly recommend this tour.

First time to Morocco with my family of 7. We were planning on going about it ourselves, but read some of the reviews on TA highly recommending Aziz. Well they weren't wrong. Aziz gave us an incredible tour of beautiful Tangier. Right from the time of booking until the time we arrived, Aziz was in constant contact with us via Whats App. We hadn't purchased our ferry tickets from Tarifa yet, so Aziz offered to purchase them for us to give us maximum flexibility, in case we ran late. He met us at the ferry terminal and we were pleasantly surprised by the luxurious bus waiting for us. Aziz took showed us the best of Tangier in the limited time we had. We ate an amazing meal (not included in the price, but Aziz gave us several options according to our preferred budget) and he wasn't wrong when he said it would be the best meal of our vacation. Aziz showed us so much more than we could have ever imagined seeing ourselves. His knowledge of Morocco was incredible and he took us to local places not normally seen by tourists. He was extremely personable, funny, and a local celebrity in his own right. Walking through the old town was amazing. EVERYONE knows and greets Aziz and that made experiencing the old town so relaxed and casual, compared to what we had expected. We were not expecting Tangier to be as beautiful as was nor were we expecting to see as much as we did. This was money well spent and I'd highly recommend hiring Aziz to anyone who has never been to Morocco or who feels a bit intimidated by experiencing a new culture on their own. We will be back but next time we will be staying much longer and will make sure Aziz is a part of our trip. Thank you Aziz! Salam!

Aziz (with his driver “Speedy Gonzales”) gave us a memorable tour of Tanger. They picked us up at Palais Zahia and headed up the coast passing through many visually beautiful sections of Tanger. We stopped at Cap Spartel where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic before driving to the caves of Hercules which provided many stunning ocean views at sea level. Aziz then arranged a camel ride which accommodated the entire group, one of whom had mobility issues. We drove to the top of the Medina where “Speedy” left us for the day. Walking through the Medina, we saw all the food shops including the seafood ones - do not miss that!. We wanted to purchase Djellaba’s and Aziz brought us to a quality local shop where he helped us negotiate an excellent price for our purchases. It was after 3:00 PM when we returned to our hotel. Aziz offered to bring us to a restaurant, Lubina Blanca, which he goes to regularly. We agreed and using a cab we went. It was the best decision of the day as we had a fantastic meal of chicken, lamb, tuna, calamari, shrimp, languistino and grouper which we finished with a fruit plate and flan. It was the best tour of the trip. I highly recommend Aziz for tours in or near Tanger.

Had an amazing time exploring tangier with Aziz as our guide! He was very knowledgeable of the history of the city. Unfortunately our ferry ride back to spain got canceled due to wind/weather. Aziz made sure we got a ride to another port on a different ferry. Aziz made sure we got on the other ferry before departing! Top notch guide, better human! Fabulous Private, custom 2 Day tour of Tangier and Chefchaouen filled with so much historical and architectural insights along with fun stops at Cap Spartel, Hercules Cave, Camel riding on the coast, the Medina(s), beautiful vistas from the various points in both Tangier and Chefchaouen, beautiful photo ops in the blue city, great food and fun shopping! Our guide Mr. Rachid made us feel very welcome and safe (especially as a mom and adult daughter traveling alone) He went the extra mile to make sure we got the best experiences at each stop. He was also a big help when we wanted to shop for some souvenirs. Traveling during Ramadan could have presented some challenges but Mr. Rachid made sure all of the logistics were taken care of so we would see things when they were open, eat lunch, etc.. And we especially appreciated how punctual he was! Thank you for coordinating a great tour and making our stay in Morocco a pleasant one.

Mr. Aziz was great. He is wealth of knowledge and was very patient with our young girls (10 & 5). He was accommodating and asked us often our preferences. He made us feel very safe and made sure we had tons of great food to eat. We are already planning a return visit and will be sure to use MR Aziz again.

The cave of Hercules was especially interesting to me. Finding out the way it was really made was incredible. And Def Leppard once played a concert in the cave. Crazy

With the expert help of Aziz we discovered the beautiful city of Tangier. Tangier has a unique cultural history and Aziz had many sites to show us and stories, some personal, to tell. His side kick, Rasheed was excellent at navigating this big city by the sea. We also spent a day in Chefchaouen which has been on our list for years. Aziz was fun to be with and he love to show off his city. He brought Tangier to life for us. We enjoyed it all and we would recommend Aziz. Thank you Aziz NUMBER ONE.

My wife and I traveled with our 2 children to Tangier, Morocco for 1 day from Tarifa. Aziz promptly met us off the ferry with a pro driver in a new Mercedes van which was immaculately clean. We spent the next 6 hours touring Tangier -- by vehicle and on foot -- and saw so much with him. His patience & hospitality along with his knowledge and comm made for a stress-free & magical experience immersed in a new culture. If you have never been to Morocco, go with Aziz and he'll take great care of you.

Aziz made our trip to Tangier a pure joy. His love for his country was very evident in our tour. He is knowledgeable, professional, and fun. He took care of all of the arrangements, which made it so easy for us. He led us through different sections of the city (I highly recommend the hot "chocolate" in the French quarter! Absolutely decadent!!) and down interesting narrow alleys around the city. I especially enjoyed the camel ride on the beach. What a blast!! Couldn't have had a better guide on our trip in Tanger. Aziz knew his way around and knew how to give tourists a great first look at Tanger. If we ever wanted any items such as coffee or food he knew the very best places to eat for the very best price. As a teenager a never liked tours because they only showed the "tourist" sections of the area. Aziz gave us the real experience of Tanger. Overall, an enjoyable experience and worth the cost.

We decided to head out to Morocco from Spain at the last minute and made all the arrangements via TripAdvisor. We decided to use the private tour based on the recommendations & past reviews. It was the right decision and made a short trip a memorable one!! Aziz was the best - met us at the docks after we took the ferry from Tarifa. Aziz's tour is more of a cultural tour - he gives a good historical background to the tour and is really knowledgeable about Tangiers & Moroccan history. He ties in the cultural aspects of Tangier society with the historical background and takes you to places that are significant in both areas. The good thing is his relationship with vendors and people that live & work in the areas that we visited. In our engagement with vendors, he was really helpful and looked out for our best interest in purchase negotiations. Be prepared for alot of walking - we didn't get to go to everything because my mother's physical limitations which slowed us down a bit, but he's really patient and was still able to get the important spots. It was a great visit - great to be able to get a great feel for the city and people for such a short visit. I recommend using Aziz if you're looking to get to know the history & culture of Tangiers.

We scheduled a last minute day trip to Tangier while we were staying in Marbella Spain. Aziz arranged the ferry for us and met us at the port when we arrived. We saw some sights and went to the markets. Once he knew what we wanted to look at, he brought us to a store that weaves blankets and scarves. Then we stopped for Argan oil and spices. Both places were so hospitable and knowledgeable about their products. The highlight for me was the incredible lunch at a local restaurant. He asked if we would rather do a tourist restaurant or a local one. I said local but good quality. The food was one of the top meals I’ve had traveling and so authentically Moroccan, plus it was only $50 Euros for 4 courses. We finished up the tour with a short ride on a camel on the beach. Was on my bucket list and did not disappoint. I don’t know that my girlfriend and I would have enjoyed Morocco as much without Aziz as our guide. The Médina can be daunting but we always felt like we could just absorb it and take it all in while we were traveling with Aziz.

We booked a trip with Aziz very last minute. Within an hour, he had made contact with us letting us know where he would be picking us up, giving us advice on where to catch the ferry, and what we would need to do once we arrived in Tangier. It was great! Because there were not many options for the ferry, he was willing to adjust our trip to fit the ferry schedule. About 5 hours after booking we had an emergency that required us to cancel. I contacted Aziz and he was so kind and understanding. Not only did he help us with the cancellation, he worked with Viator to see that we received a full refund. He did NOT have to do that, but we cantvtell you how much it meant. He also sent me several messages to make sure I received confirmation of the cancellation. I want everyone that reads this to understand. We DID NOT take the trip, but were treated with such kindness and respect. Who goes out of their way as Aziz did for people he never met and never took the tour. If he goes above and beyond for a cancellation, I just know our trip would have been fabulous. Aziz, we hope we get the opportunity to book with you again. Thank you so much for all that you have done for us!

We had a amazing day in Tangier in the competent hands of Majid. He met us off the ferry and along with a chauffeur showed us the sites in and around Tangier, first by car through the city and the American district. Then out towards the coast to the point where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans meet. After a stop at the lookout point, we rode camels and then visited the caves of Hercules where we were met by a guide who knows the cave and their history. After a short drive back into the city we continued on foot through the city. Visiting the Medina and markets and stopping for lunch. Majid spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable about the city, it’s history and current situation. He was very informative and could answer all of our questions. We really enjoyed going at our pace and all we saw. It was really worth the money that we spent and we I’ll defiantly be returning to Tangier and Morocco.

We had a great time here. Beautiful scenery, lovely food, our driver helped a lot with our luggages and all the helpful information.

I would highly recommend using this tour guide! He was super knowledgeable and made me feel safe. I had no idea what to expect and just informed him that I wanted to see an authentic Tangier and he did just that! I saw the main tourist sights but also saw the day to day life as well. Other tours will have you see 1-2 items and you will be back on the ferry, however I put my trust in him and he planned an entire day of adventure. I could not be more satisfied with this experience. I cannot wait to book another adventure with him again!
