Fantastic walking tour with Badro Chabab. We saw so many things that we would have never seen, or even found on our own. Badro guided us through the narrow, twisted cobblestone streets, of the residential area outside the Kasbah, where few tourists ever get to visit. We would have never seen that part of Tangier without a guide. We saw several tiled water fountains along the way and learned that each community in the old area contains a communal water fountain and communal oven, where everyone has access. We took a brief break and relaxed at a cafe overlooking the city while drinking traditional mint tea, watching daily life from above. We visited places where we saw very few tourists, just the locals going about their daily life, shopping the busy fish and farmers market, delivering fresh bread in carts, chatting with neighbors and adjacent shop owners and working their handcrafts in small shops. We covered alot of ground because of his familiarity of the town. We were impressed with the unity within the community between the Muslim, Christian and Jewish faiths. Badr is an excellent guide and speaks very clearly in English. He is very passionate about his culture, and we have gained alot of knowledge from this tour. He was welcomed by many of the locals and a few times we were told "he is a good man". I highly recommend this company and Badro Chabab.

We had a very enjoyable day exploring the old town of Tangier, Morocco, with our guide, Reda. He met us at the cruise terminal and spent approximately four hours showing us the city, its history, culture, and local attractions. Reda made the experience enjoyable and informative, giving us a better appreciation for Tangier and its unique blend of Moroccan and international influences. Having a knowledgeable local guide made the visit much more meaningful than simply exploring on our own. Overall, it was a wonderful way to experience Tangier during our cruise stop, and we appreciated Reda’s time and hospitality.

Ismail is a top-tier driver who made the travel seamless and stress-free. Bandr is an amazing guide whose great energy and deep storytelling kept us engaged the entire time. They treated us like family and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Badro was a terrific guide with lots of local knowledge to share on our private walking tour. He encouraged us to ask any questions so we learnt lots about Tangier's history and culture. We walked through lanes and alleyways, climbed lots of steps and were given some free time to explore on our own. We would never have seen as much as we did without Badro either as I'm sure we would have got lost in the labyrinth of lanes and alleys within the Medina. Our tour also took us upwards to the Kasbar where we also took in great sea views and had the chance to enjoy a glass of their famous mint tea. We highly recommend this tour!

Our Tangier tour with Reda was exceptional! He was extremely knowledgeable and informative and we connected with him straight away. It was as if he was an old friend sharing his insights of his city.

We took a tour with our tour guide Sharik through the Kasbah, the fortress, community oven, mosques, etc and were absolutely delighted by it all. He was very knowledgeable of the area since he was born and lives nearby and was able to provide us every detail of the places and history. We could not of asked for a better tour guide for the area. Everyone was very friendly and we were even able to sample food from the community oven and a traditional tea at the co-op. The next day we messaged and were able to book another quick tour to Dalia Beach with Ismail who found us a wonderful spot on the beach, took us to photo spots, and provided us with coffee and drinks. Highly recommend and will be using them again!

Good introduction to Tangiers. Learned a lot. The guide was a consummate professional! We added on Cape Sparel, the Hercules Cave and the camels. A day like no other!

The tour was quite informative. Shafiq was very knowledgeable about the buildings and over all history. Must do in Tangier.

Jaafar took us all around the Kasbah, Medina, and Grand Socco. He took us to have a traditional Moroccan meal and carried all our purchases back to our hotel for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk this morning. Our guide Faoud took us to the kasbah, some markets, then through the medina. He talked a bit about the history and the different parts of Tangier. He even helped me find a set of Gnawa in the size I wanted through his friends in the medina. We'd thoroughly recommend the activity.

Excellent tour , from the moment we met our guide chafik in tangier port until the end of it . we took a ferry from tarifa and our guide Picked us up with a big smile , we enjoyed the kasbah , the markets and everything was absolutely seamless . This tour was beyond what's expected , i booked this tour VERY last minute and chafik accommodated us without hesitation. He met us at tangier port when we arrived from tarifa port , He was so responsive personable and knowledgeable. We learned a ton about Morocco’s history and culture and discovered the colourful souks and had time to shop in the berber markets , we also tasted some delicious Moroccan food. My family and I were fortunate enough to have chafik as our private tour guide in Morocco. He and his driver met us at the cruise port - super easy to take us to the kasbah , as chafik was there early holding a sign with my name on it for easy identification. Immediately we started the tour and Chafik has a wealth of knowledge and entertained us. He was enthusiastic and proud to talk about and show us his beautiful City of Tangiers. We toured all of the districts and a beautiful park called mendoubiya gardens ,walked the Medina and Kasba and The Grand Socco Market, the Berber Market, and had an authentic Moroccan Lunch and tea. To top it off, chafik offered us to go with my family to ride Camels along the Atlantic coast on the beach …an experience we will never forget. Everything we could have imagined and more captured by beautiful photo’s that chafik was happy to take for us. Honesty, fun and wisdom is what you will receive from this gentleman . What a magical day , We took a quick trip to Tangier from Tarifa, and we are so happy we chose this tour. From the moment we met our guide, chafik , we knew we were in excellent hands. He met us in Tangier port with a big smile and he was very friendly, good-natured, and clearly passionate about his work. Chafik helped us see it all: the vibrant souks , the casba & the amazing Medina. Chafik is clearly the unofficial mayor of Tangier! He introduced us to kind locals everywhere we went as a berber pharmacy , the community oven & the berber markets , we felt more like we were visiting family friends than tourists! Our lunch was exellent, and we even successfully purchased a Berber rug. When our 5 pm ferry back to Tarifa was canceled (or maybe we just misread the schedule), chafik immediately took charge. He insisted we stay with him and took us to the famous cafe baba to enjoy a nice moroccan tea & wait for the nex ferry. This was one of the best tours we've ever done. Thank you Tangier Trips team for everything , thank you chafik. He also offered us to go ride camels on the beach & it was a great idea. Based on this experience, we are already planning a return trip. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!

It was the best decision to book a private tour. Our guide Chakif was very attentive to us and took us on an exciting tour filled with information.

We had a nice and interesting guided tour of Tangier with Ahmad. He picked us up at the train station (we came by train from Rabat) and we went to Cafe Hafa. Super nice there the view over the Strait of Gibraltar! Afterwards we visited the Kasbah and the Medina and saw souks and the Jewish Quarter. We liked it and we recommend it gladly. Tangier is worth a trip and the tour with Ahmad was interesting!

Mustapha was a very attentive and friendly guide with a lot of knowledge on all issues. Not too much, not too little and excellent knowledge of German. Even my boys at 12 and 15 thought the tour was successful

Amazing experience! It's really great to visit Tangier with a professional guide. We had been there years ago without a guide and didn't feel very comfortable at the time. Going out with a good guide was a good decision and the walk with Tangier Trips was the best decision; nice walking route, some background information here and there and we stopped at beautiful views and photogenic locations. Lunch was optional and it was a nice place with good food, but next time we would find a restaurant ourselves. Communication with Chafiq was super smooth and easy from the moment of booking. We were able to tailor the private tour to our wishes without any problems. We even did another tour with them 2 days later and it was again very well organised. Highly recommended if you want to discover Tangier
