Highly recommend this tour, in 5 hours we did many authentic things unique to Tangier. Our guide was Aziz and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely if we come back we will book them again!

What a splendid experience we had with Achraf! His Tangier tour included driving through many distinct sections of the city and beyond. We then did a walking tour for an in depth exploration of several areas. His goal was to give a meaningful understanding of the history and culture of sights his travelers that we enjoyed. He was a great conversationalist. He responded to our interests and modified the tour to accommodate our needs. He provided practical information that we will apply as we continue our trip throughout Morocco. Our safety and satisfaction were definitely high priorities for him.

Our tour guide was Achraf. He was the best guide that we have had in any city. Very easy to understand. Extremely knowledgeable. Flexible in itinerary. I loved that he continued to give us options and choices throughout the day. He can meet you anywhere in Morocco and provide single day or multiday tours. He was so prepared and a joy to be with. I hope to return and do a 10 day tour with him next time.

Very willing to cater to what you want. You can see highlights quickly. There's a tad bit of 'selling' local goods, but I felt like it was appropriate and introduced local goods nicely. Ashref, our guide - amazing. He did a wonderful job asking what we wanted before and during and catered to our group. His knowledge of the local areas, history, customs, religions, markets, all were informative and not so complicated it was difficult. He has his places that he likes to take you for food and shopping, but again, our group all felt it was still authentic and local.

Archraf is one of the most kindest, knowledgeable, and best tour guide I’ve done a tour with. He goes above and beyond. He makes sure you know all the history of Tangier and he makes your trip so easy and accessible for everything.

Achraf was awesome!!! I can’t say enough. A kind articulate gentleman. He worked with us all the way. Our ferry from Tarifa got canceled due to weather and we had to change our plan - Achraf worked with us to help us reschedule with no additional fees. Achraf wasn’t available the day we arrived in Tangier, so he had a taxi driver he trusted pick us up and give us a city tour. He even paid for it out of his pocket. The next day he took us on an all day excursion through the Medina/Old town. It was amazing. Great guy and a great experience to visit the wonderful and diverse city of Tangier.

This vendor cancelled my private tour with short notice because he wanted to add an additional couple of people. When I responded "no" to his inquiry (and he gave me the option of keeping it as a private tour), he then cancelled. Lousy, but no problem, I found another guide who was excellent.

Our family had the absolute pleasure of taking a full day private tour of Tangier with Achraf. I had read all the positive reviews on Viator and decided to try his tour. From the initial contact after I booked where he reached out on WhatsApp – to helping with hotel and ferry suggestions – to finding out what we wanted to see on our tour with him so he could customize it to our wants – Achraf went over and above my expectations. Achraf picked us up at the ferry the day before our tour and took us to our hotel. He was super friendly and made suggestions for dinner and told us not to miss breakfast at our hotel. Our tour started with visiting the different sections of Tangier, learning about their backgrounds, and seeing the important sites in each section. Then we went to Perdicaris Park and walked and got to see the spectacular views from the park. From there we went to Cap Spartel which sits at the entrance of the Strait of Gibraltar where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. We went to a café and enjoyed coffee, light snacks, and stunning views. The highlight of the tour came next with a camel ride on the beach by the Atlantic. This was a huge hit with our college age kids and us! After that Achraf took us to the medina where we saw rugs and other shops. He knew how to find everything in the maze of alleyways and was like the mayor knowing everyone! Throughout the day, Achraf was attentive and made sure we saw everything on our wishlist and more! At the end of our day, we enjoyed a delicious Moroccan meal that Achraf arranged for us. His passion for Tangier and its rich history was apparent in every story he told and every detail of our tour. He is a wonderful ambassador for Tangier. But what really stood out on our tour was Achraf himself. His warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like we were seeing the city with a close friend rather than a tour guide. His genuine enthusiasm and knowledge made for a wonderful experience. We are actually planning on coming back and having him plan a boat trip. I am so grateful to Achraf for making our day in Tangier extra special. If you are looking for a tour guide who will go the extra mile to ensure you have an amazing experience – look no further. I cannot recommend him highly enough! Truly the best guided tour. I feel like we came home having a new friend along with our wonderful memories.

Guide Achraf and driver Noureddine did everything to make my day perfect, from picking me up at my riad in Chefchaouen to customising my visit to my interests. Even during the tour they were able to change certain things to make it even better. Achraf knows a lot of people and small businesses and introduced me to a lot of them.

The experience was incredible and the perfect way to spend my limited time in the country. I learned so much about Tangier and Morocco as a whole. I got to see so many places that wouldn’t have been possible without such a great guide. I highly recommend and will 100% be booking again for my next time in Morocco.

We enjoyed all aspects of this full-day tour - coastal views from both the Atlantic & Mediterranean, riding camels, touring the varied neighborhoods, learning the history of Tangier, visiting a sea cave, shopping in the Medina and visiting the casbah. We booked a tour of Tangier and the surrounding area for the first day of our holiday in Morocco. Achraf (the owner) had been in touch beforehand to offer assistance on our arrival although we had already booked an airport transfer through the hotel. Communication was very easy via WhatsApp. We were picked up on time from our hotel by Aziz our guide for the day and taken on the first part of the tour which was a drive through the French and Spanish quarters and out along the coast to Cap Spartel. We stopped for a camel ride on the coast too which our 9 year old son particularly enjoyed! The second part of the tour was a walking tour of Tangier Kasbah and medina seeing all the main sites and learning a lot from the knowledgeable Aziz. He was also able to make great recommendations for places to eat for the duration of our stay in Tangier. We had a brilliant first day of our holiday, thank you Aziz and Achraf!

Ashraf was the perfect guide for my wife and I to spend the day with in Tangier. His knowledge and his passion for Tangier were evident from the moment we got in his vehicle until the very end of the day. We saw many things in Tangier we didn't expect to see because Ashraf knew how to avoid the touristic spots when they were crowded and took us to many places where no tourists would know to find. I would highly recommend Ashraf anytime.

Achraf is the guide of guides. He knows everyone. He also knows how to sequence a tour to ensure that we were not with the masses of others off the ships (and there were three large ships in Tangier that day). He went out of his way to ensure we had a great vehicle for our group. His enthusiasm for Tangier and Morocco is evident in every aspect of his tour. He also checked in about our desires to see certain places. He is a friend in Morocco and earns my highest respect and recommendation.

Went back to Tangier as the tour was so amazing! Acharf was an incredible tour guide, he was super friendly and helpful. He showed us not just the touristy sites but also the local areas, he was very knowledgeable, giving us great historical insights as we went along and taking us to local authentic shops. Will definitely recommend again, the best tour ever.

Achraf really went all out to make sure we had the best experience of Tangier ever :) he was very knowledgable about the area’s history and even let us split up our tour so we could spread it throughout the day which was very nice of him. Overall me and my friends had a really fun day which was worth every penny and we would definitely recommend him to anyone.

We arrived by ferry at 1:30 and Mr Rachid drove and walked us around for the next 7 hours, giving us a great overview of Tangier and a few fun experiences. We’d say the highlight was where he took us to dinner, a little local place in the Medina. Mr. Rachid seemed to know a lot of locals and he used that to make the experience a little bit extra.

There are lot of choices for booking private tours in Tangier like this, and I chose Achraf mainly because of all the good reviews and his presence online going back a long time. It was a great choice. He was super communicative throughout the process answering my many questions quickly. He handled our ferry tickets as well, which was a nice thing to not have to worry about. He customized the tour to our tastes as some things like a camel ride don't interest us, so he took us a few other interesting places to see. We were worried that food might be challenging during Ramadan but he took us to a fantastic restaurant and we were very well fed. We did make 3 stops for shopping that were vaguely high pressure sales situations. So on the one hand while we did want to shop and two of the three stores were what we were looking for, I would've appreciated a heads up before each stop that it was just to shop. We had no interest in the third stop (the herbalist shop) but we were too deep into the visit to feel comfortable opting out once it was clear it was just for shopping. That being said, I'd still wholeheartedly recommend Achraf and would book with him again when I return to Morocco (and I definitely want to). This was a great way to sample the country while visiting Spain. Achraf is very friendly and knowledgeable, he seemed to know pretty much everyone we walked by. He offers a great sense of hospitality that made for a wonderful trip.

Our tour was fantastic! Rachid was a wonderful guide and host. He gave us a great overview of the region around Tangier. He found a great camel tour for us. But the highlight was has introduction to the city of Tangier itself. He took us to place no tourist would ever find - including a basement bakery where we tasted treats fresh from the oven. He guided us to good vendors for the shopping our party wanted to do. He set a comfortable pace that still managed to cover a lot of ground. He was patient when we wanted to linger. He made good suggestions for things we should do if only we had more time. Sometimes it’s fun to discover a new city on your own. But we had very limited time and Rachid made the very most of the time we had. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were met by our Tours by Local Guide Achraf Abdeddaim of Tangiers. His english was as good as his personality and his ability to give us such wonderful tour of Tangiers from the minute we met til the end. We went all over Tangier includeing Synagogues(cemetery) Mosques and Catholic Churches. He knew everything you could possibly ask and more. We went to markets, saw locals making beautiful silk ornamentation for clothing, etc and a store where there was a young man weaving silk everything on a wooden spindle using his feet. Unreal. We ate at a local Moroccan restaurant with local entertainment. Any questions he had answers. We also went to the caves that lead into the ocean and many more sites. This was my second trip to Tangier, and it was the first one for my son (29 y/o). I have booked the tour with Achraf again after an outstanding first experience in the past. My expectations were high, but they were without a doubt exceeded!! He ensured that the tour was interesting for me (not just a replay of the first time around) by adjusting the itinerary, adding details, exploring off the beaten path, and all the time answering and explaining everything we asked and wanted to know. Achraf is a cornucopia of knowledge of local history, customs, cuisine, architecture, hot spots, nightlife, etc, etc, etc - whatever rocks your boat!! He will ensure your Tangier tour is memorable and exciting comprehensive experience Achraf puts his heart into what he does, and he treats you like a friend. Cannot recommend enough.

I’m a 23 year old solo female traveler and this was my first time in Morocco. Originally i was a bit intimidated but then I met Aschraf and everything changed. I felt entirely safe and comfortable - as if I was with family!! We took a tour of the entire city of Tangier and it was incredible. I saw everything and anything - all the tourists spots but local spots as well. I was able to have the most amazing couscous lunch that was planned to my budget. A truly amazing experience and I will back again, already planning my next trip to Morocco with aschraf!

We had an amazing time on the tour! Our tour guide Aziz and driver Mostafa were extremely flexible and brought us to many hidden gems in and around the city. One of the people in our party had a later flight than us and our tour guide took care of us in the meantime. Achraf also greeted us at the airport and even helped me buy bandaids when I found a cut on my finger. I felt safe and entertained the whole time and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Tangier.

We had an absolute BLAST on this tour! The tour guide and driver were all so nice & eager to make your journey a memorable experience. We first started off visiting the city, where we were introduced to its history. Then for lunch we were brought to this amazing restaurant recommended by the guide. After lunch, we continued the tour and went to many hidden gems in the city. Then, we hopped on the car to tour around the beach, the cave, and the camel ride. Overall, would highly recommend — the team made it extra memorable.

He made sure to ask throughout the day to make sure we had enough time at the places we visited. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were a little worried about traveling in Morocco but we felt very safe with our guide the whole time. He made recommendations based on what we said we liked. He took us to wonderful shops and made wonderful suggestions for lunch. We are frequent travelers and this is one of the best day tours we have ever had.

We loved our tour so much! Mr. Rachid was our tour guide and was so lovely! They were so acommodating to our needs and travel plans and picked us up from the airport right after we landed and took us around all day until our flight at night. We felt so safe traveling around Morocco with him and he showed us everything there was to see in Tangier, showed us lots of local spots we would have not found our own, and had lots of connections which really enriched our experience. Achraf and his team are professionals who provide an amazing experience, rich with history and culture. He truly cares about your experience in Tangier and we couldn’t have felt more welcomed :) He was also super accommodating! Our tour was supposed to begin at 9am but because our flight rerouted due to weather and landed in Fez, we didn’t get to Tangier until 4pm. Still Achraf was so helpful, the driver was waiting for us at the airport and Achraf quickly adapted our tour to be able to be completed in the afternoon. Rerouting so we could hit all the scenic spots with the sun still up!! What we couldn’t finish that day, he arranged to have it done the next day with no hassle. Recommend it to anyone who wants to see Tangier and experience the culture and sights !

We had a great tour with Aziz! He prioritized those stops that we most wanted to visit like the American Legation Museum, and he was very flexible when/where we wanted to stop while keeping us on schedule. The tour company promptly responded to our questions although it would have been helpful to pick and choose the portions of the cities that we cared the most about.

We had a most enjoyable tour with Achraf today. His enthusiasm, knowledge and affection for his country/city make for a fun and informative tour. He had a general Plan for where to take us but was also very flexible and willing to adjust the plan to best suit our interests. We highly recommend Achraf!!

Achraf is a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guide. His/our tour of Tangier was more than we expected Achraf used a driver so he could concentrate on delivery of information. He is proud of his culture and enthusiastic in his tour persona. His tour covered the physical and cultural diversity of Tangier. We travelled out of the city to see the environs around the city in an air conditioned van. Very comfortable. We enjoyed multiple stops for photo ops and refreshments. Our lunch stop was a fabulous feast of Moroccan cuisine and beer! The afternoon was spent.walking the Medina with its narrow passageways and multitude of smells. I require the use of a walker and Achraf was most helpful whenever I needed assistance. When our tour finished, Achraf walked with us to the ferry terminal to say goodbye. We met Ashraf as our tour guide but we left him as our friend. We recommend him to everyone!

Had a fantastic day trip from Spain to Tangier courtesy of our guide Achraf! What a great guide and person! I worked with him in advance to plan our trip. We were traveling with our parents who are in their 80’s. Achraf planned every detail so that we could enjoy key sights and the beautiful places without strenuous hikes. 10/10 would recommend Achraf for anyone coming to Morocco!! I couldn't have asked for a better guide for our trip. He treated us like family the whole time, and made sure that every part of our 3-day tour was comfortable, fun, and educational! You can tell that he loves his country and takes pride in sharing his culture with visitors. For our tour in Tangier, he picked us up from the train station and had a van (with WiFi) and personal driver waiting for us. We enjoyed a tour of the city followed by the BEST fish meal I've ever had. The lunch was at a very authentic and local place, which we would never have known to go to if we were touring the city ourselves. Even though we only had a few hours in Tangier before moving on to the next city, Achraf made it very memorable!!

I only had 5 hours in Tangier and Achraf made sure to show me all aspects of Tangier: first a drive around different neighborhoods of Tangier before he took me to Cap Spartel followed by the Hercules Cave. He finally brought me to the Medina and first took me to the Sunday market where we stopped by for a snack. We continued through the winding alleys of the Medina, popping into a hidden mosque. Achraf made sure to point out different architectural landmarks throughout carious neighborhoods. I highly recommend a tour with Achraf!

They waited for us at the port with a sign with our name and they drove us in a very comfortable and Luxury Mercedes van all around Morroco. We had a wonderful trip, unforgettable experience. The driver and tour guide were both very polite and patient.

The whole tour was awesome I especially enjoyed the part of the tour through the neighborhood qnd market places as alone I would have been lost in the maze of buildings.

We absolutely loved our tour with Achraf!!! Our ferry was late getting in and rather than shorten our tour, Achraf arranged for a later ferry back and actually extended our stay in Tangier. That was the best idea ever - we would not have wanted to miss a minute of our day in Tangier. From the time we left the ferry terminal, Achraf was entertaining us with fun facts about Morocco and the areas surrounding Tangier. HIs knowledge of history and his explanations of culture were great. Aschraf (and our amazing driver, Omar) took us all over Tangier. From the Medina (oldest part of the city) to the strait of Gibraltar, we went everywhere! Aschraf tapped in to everyone's interests and showed us things that we would never have seen on our own (like the community ovens). He kept our 17 and 20 year olds engaged the entire trip. We really felt like we were seeing Tangier like a local with a good friend and not just a guide we had just met. We can not say enough good things about Aschraf! Can't wait to go back to Morocco and see a different city with our pal Aschraf!
