I would have to say I didn’t feel welcomed as a foreigner. It wasn’t the language barrier but the body language and not even a smile that upset me the most. Maybe it’s great for locals but sadly not for guests overseas. I would pass on this hammam even though it was in a traditional setting…

I'd never had a hammam visit. It was lovely -- an intimate space, appropriately private. Atmosphere was restful (some quiet music), clean, and in order. I had a 90-minute hammam and massage. After a hot rinse & soaping, pretty much all of me was thoroughly exfoliated on a warm stone table til my skin was like a baby's (!). And my hair was washed. Clay was applied all over. After a bit I was rinsed clean and received an excellent massage. The woman who provided all this service was kind, matter-of-fact and professional. Though a new experience, I didn't feel concerned or uncomfortable, but gratefully relaxed and well cared-for. I would have gone again if my stay in Asilah had been one day longer.

This was my first time visiting a hammam, and it was truly an incredible and delightful experience. From the moment you walk in, the soft lighting, the perfect temperature, and the calming scents transport you into a state of total relaxation. It is a wonderful way to connect with yourself. I am already sure that I will repeat this experience the next time I visit Asilah. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic self-care moment!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hamam Alba in Assilah. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional and made me feel completely welcome and at ease. The treatment itself was simply amazing. Being washed with traditional Beldi soap was incredibly soothing, and the exfoliation left my skin feeling unbelievably soft and refreshed. The experience was both authentic and deeply relaxing. Afterwards, the application of the fragrant Ghassoul clay was truly nourishing and left my skin feeling silky smooth. The highlight of my visit was the relaxing massage in such a calm and pleasant atmosphere — it was pure bliss and the perfect way to unwind. A very special thank you to my therapist, Hasna — she truly has magical hands! Her care, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire experience unforgettable. Overall, everything was perfect. I will definitely be coming back!

This was a very dissapointing experience for me in general. I have experienced Hammam before and was looking forward to it. The washing/scrubbing room was not very warm. The woman who was doing the service literally just splashed water on me and then left the room, for like 5 minutes I was just laying there,freezing, while my husband was getting fully scrubbed. This happened multiple times. Then the lady came back, limply scrubbed my back a bit for a minute and it was over. I was gobsmacked. The massage was a bit better, but still I felt like I was dealing with a person who did not want to be there at all. My husband had a much better experience with his person, which was good. Overall, I found th place to be a bit dirty, and just a tourist trap. I could honestly not recommend it. I feel bad, as I know that people are working to make a living, but we recieved excellent kindness and hospitality throughout our trip, and for me, this was just a no.

Fourth visit this year , usually go with my wife but she couldn’t join me this time. Solo experience just as good, Ovisal was my masseuse,highly recommended . Only negative the background music was a little too loud ☺️

It was a wonderful experience. I had a 30 mins hammam and 1 hour massage. The price was very reasonable for two people. It was a private hammam experience with only two of us in the room. I must say this is not my first experience at Hammam Alba. There is always room for improvement and I would like to suggest that after an experience the team should offer some tea or water to the guests and allow them time to relax upstairs in the little lounge area with a beverage just to elevate the experience that little bit more. However, I will always come back as it is a beautiful experience!

Had the solo hammam treatment today for the first time by Bouchra. She took her time to make me feel comfotable and listened to my wishes. She was so kind and lovely with hands of gold Allahouma Barik 😍. I can absolutely recommend her!

I came for a hammam and massage, it was Khadija who took care of me, she was super professional, kind, and attentive. She was interrupted by her colleagues However, I do not understand what a person like Ibtissam is doing in this prestigious place; she was insolent and her way of addressing me was disrespectful and she made inappropriate remarks Except for this task on the board, it was a wow experience. Oh yes, I would like to add that the prices should be listed in dirhams; I live in Morocco and all the prices are listed in €.

This place is no longer well-maintained at all. Infamous toilets, no new towel on the massage bed. They rely on interns. Unacceptable for exorbitant prices in Morocco

I went with my mother since we were on vacation in Asilah, and without a doubt, we will repeat when we return. ASIA and SANA were our masseuses; I believe they were the best we could have had! Please, do not hesitate and come. 10/10🫶🏻

We stayed at Hammam al Alba because we wanted both a Hammam visit and a massage... usually you visit the Hammam first (here a small, cool room by lying on cold benches)... were briefly rubbed with warm water & soap - that's it. The subsequent massage was really good though. Afterwards- no mint tea... and where are the rooms and the beautiful courtyard you saw in the photos- a mystery...

Massage highly recommended. Oh, great. Very nice place. We had enough trouble arriving, we couldn't find the place well. It's right in front of the theater that was the key to us finding it.

The overall experience very good, with some things to improve. The girls were like revved up and doing everything half fast, I didn't feel a personalized treatment. The hammam itself was fine, it was a bath with sponge exfoliation and they put a clay mask on your body. The massage was complete and good, full length but it was half superficial and to the rush. They left us a few minutes alone at the end so it wasn't an hour, it was less. The facilities super cute, well ambienced. Only they took time to put on fresh music at the massage and before you could hear screams and people talking outside. I recommend it to have the experience of a typical hammam, and for the price it is more than good. It would be great if they improved those details.
