Luxury Day In Tangier From Tarifa Including Ferry & Camel Ride

The guided tour of Tangier, Morocco, was fabulous. The camel ride was a highlight, as were the authentic Moroccan snacks and 3-course lunch. Mohammed 1 was a great tour guide, and very responsive to our requests to see specific types of goods in the market, etc. Mohammed 2 airways had our private van in place to pick us up exactly on time. I would highly recommend this tour, and would happily engage Mohammed again to arrange another outing in Morocco.

We had an incredible full-day family trip to Tangier from Tarifa, and it was one of the best experiences of our vacation. From the moment we booked, everything was well organized and easy. If you only have a day to explore Tangier this is the tour for you We were picked up from the ferry and taken around Tangier to see all the interesting houses, streets and parks. With great views and a stop off for some tea. The camels were great with a nice ride along the beach. Then a walk through the casbah and narrow streets to see the shops. Mohammed our tour guide found as a wonderful restaurant to have lunch and try a number of dishes. They even had live music. Overall Mohammed was so helpful and had a lot of local knowledge.

What a day! What a guy! We booked our day trip to Tangier, Morocco with Mohammed. He sent over our ferry tickets and met us at the port with clear instructions. From then, a day (7 hours in Tangier) felt like a week. We were chauffeured driven which meant that stopped at parks, markets, mosques, and other viewpoints around the city. We visited Cap Spartel, a beautiful viewpoint and lighthouse. We went in the Cave of Hercules, and had a camel ride on the beach. We had sweet treats and Moroccan tea in a beautiful cafe terrace, and ate a delicious traditional lunch. Mohammed was on hand all day to tip anyone who needed it for the little extras ( like feeding a monkey!), and to make sure we had the best price when shopping. He got us bottled water at regular intervals and made sure we were comfortable and safe. My mobility is a little limited and he adjusted routes as needed. Most of all, he was a mine of information about Tangier and Morocco. Mohammed was a delight all day; informative, charming and funny. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

What a day. We had the best tour with Mohammed. From the modern sites, to beautiful views, to pancakes and Moroccan tea. We continued with camel rides on the beach. Mohammede is a local who provides a very informative and well-organized tour that compares and contrasts the new and old cities of Tangier with plenty of sight-seeing stops. He offers easy pick up and comfortable transportation, and a very manageable walking tour through the old-world casbah and market. The camel ride was a unique experience enjoyed by my whole group (age range 16 - 56).

From the beginning, communication was very good with Mohamed. They waited for us on the side of Tangier, led us to the sights with explanation and quickly. The lunch was very good and agile. Maybe the demonstration of rugs and spices was a little long, but very interesting. I highly recommend and would definitely come back.

We toured on dromedaries and visited the various markets... we did not have lunch, because we do not love Moroccan cuisine, but still everything very quickly
