Rachid met us at Tánger port to begin our interesting and informative tour of Tanger in a very comfortable touring van. We saw the Medina, Tanger beaches, a view of where Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean with many ships visible, stopped for a short camel ride - much fun. He drove us to neighbourhoods that we would not have seen on our own. He recommended an authentic Moroccan restaurant for dinner, and even drove us there. At the end of the day Rachid dropped us at our Tangier hotel and took our two friends back to the Tangier port to catch boat back to Spain. Rachid is very knowledgeable about Moroccan history, extremely friendly with great sense of humour. Highly recommended! Ahmed helps setup our tour and arranged for very capable, friendly and knowledgeable guide Rachid to introduce us to Tangier Morocco. It was a great start to our Morocco trip. Highly recommend this professional firm and its people.

This is a well worth tour. In a half day we saw the major sites outside the old city and had a tour guide take us through the old city.
Did not start the best way as despite of being advertised as a private tour we had to wait for another 2 people that were late even though they were passengers on the same cruise ship. It would help if it is added to the description that is a small group tour & not a private one. Despite the fact we specifically mentioned we were interested in visit the Phoenician Tombs in Tangiers, this after our tour guide asked what else did we want to visit, our request got declined because it was too far & challenging to get to, ( it’s a 45min walk obviously less time by car) we decided to leave the tour after 2 “mandatory stops” to a oil shop & a carpet shop.
Our guide, Tommy, was very friendly, knowledgeable about the history of Tangier and very accommodating. He encouraged us to see the sights and shopping that were important to us. We had a very good Moroccan breakfast and a wonderful feast at lunch. The Moroccan food was exceptional. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed Tommy and our day in Morocco.
Ahmed Jr was our guide and we were picked up from the cruise port. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Tangier and truly enjoyed this half day tour.
We had scheduled his tour, Flavour of Tangier for the day. We had it scheduled months in advance and customized it to fit our travel schedule and interests. Hamza, "Junior", was our tour guide since Ahmed was recuperating from a medical issue. We were in great hands with Hamza. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He picked us up right at the port and gave us an intro to the history of Tangier and the area. We got into the van and headed onward. He took us to different neighborhoods that were occupied by different countries during WWII and had kept their cultural distinction. USA is called California, which is where the King lives when in town. It is a beautiful home/compound with guards right at the street. Other dignitaries also stayed in California. We stopped and walked around in different areas for photos and more history. Once we had toured around the areas, we went to ride camels (awesome!). We also went to the point in which the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, (amazing!). We then went to the Casbah, the old town that is walled in. You enter through one area. There were certain guidelines that must be adhered to if you wish to live or work within the Casbah. We enjoyed the beautiful doors and their meanings. We also were intrigued by how the old culture intermingled with the new modern world. We enjoyed the spices and the auction of the meat and seafood, all of the wonderful fashion for various Muslim distinctions as well. We also had time to enjoy an authentic Moroccan lunch. We tasted various different delicious dishes and finished it off with a soothing mint tea, as is custom. All in all, a great day and exactly what we had asked for and then some. A very interesting and fun time! We would definitely recommend Ahmed and Hamza!
A big thanks to Taoumi for arranging a great guide, Rashid and Mohammed our driver. We felt like we were with friends for the day and Rachid took us to back and favored areas of Tangiers. Best yet Taoumi is very responsive on email. We highly recommend these guys Bill and Sue
Rachid was an amazing guide! The day we had scheduled ended up being rainy. Rachid revised our day to accommodate our experience. We were able to see and do everything we wanted. Rachid was extremely knowledgeable and we could tell he really enjoyed taking us around throughout his city. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent guide. So caring and helpful! Knowledgeable and detailed about all aspects of the tour! Nice van too!
Excellent tour by our expert guide, Rashid. Amazing driver Ahmed and great communication with Ahmed Taoumi.
Rachid was our guide for a tour of Tangier that included both driving in the outskirts and walking in the old city and the medina. We were coming by train from Fes and he met us at the train station and got us situated with bag drop off at our hotel before heading out to get a sense of the city from driving above, seeing the coastline, the embassies and Perdicaris park. We then headed into the old city and the medina. Rachid was incredibly knowledgeable and also seemed to know everybody so we would stop at different food stops for just a taste of what was on offer. A few highlights were the visit to the Anglican church, the stop at the community baker/oven, and the lunch at a no name restaurant that was Rachid's choice for "real local cuisine". We were the only tourists there and had an amazing meal of multiple courses of salads, grilled chicken and fish and desserts. Yum! Didn't have to eat the rest of the day! Rachid would have kept going but we finally said goodbye at 6pm. Rachid met up with us the next day to facilitate our getting our ferry tickets and making sure we were all set with taking the ferry to Tarifa. Definitely recommend!
Rachid was an amazing tour guide! From meeting us at the ferry port, to returning us to the port, he and our driver, Ahmed, were kind and knowledgeable. Driving us through the city, walking through Perdicaris Park and Cap Spartel, riding camels and touring the historical Kasbah, Rachid made sure we enjoyed everything while giving us a history lesson as well! I would highly recommend visiting Tangier and experiencing this tour...the people of Tangier are warm and welcoming and Rachid and Ahmed are wonderful guides!
Through emails a week in advance, Ahmed organized and ordered ferry tickets from Tarifa for my wife and myself with no money down. We arrived Tangier by ferry at 10am and Ahmed met us at the dock with a Mercedes with his son as driver. We spent two hours driving through the new town and coastline, stopping at various points for views and stories. We we began the walking tour at the Kasbah and gradually went downhill into the Medina. We were not on a shopping trip and Ahmed focused the tour on the culture, economy, traditions and history of Tangier. After four hours, Ahmed let us wander on our own and we met an hour later for a walk back to the ferry. With limited time on a day trip, we skipped lunch and fasted as it was during Ramadan. Ahmed has been doing tours for four decades and he knows Tangier and all of Morocco. He provides a very informative tour and is a great storyteller. He seems to know everyone in town and is well liked. He does not push you to purchase and tailors the itinerary around what you want and the time you have. I recommend telling him before the tour what you are looking for, if you need lunch break or if you have issues with walking. We were very satisfied with how our time was spent and highly recommend him to others.
Our guide Ahmed was very very knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of history and interesting story’s. Would highly recommend this tour.
Our guide, Mohcine, was wonderfully informative. He took us to places we could not have found on our own even though we are experienced travelers not shy about venturing out on our own. He was knowledgeable about the history, architecture, societal composition , food and cultural traditions of the kasbah. We watched craftsmen at their trades, visited a synagogue, mosques deep within the kasbah, an herb merchant who recommended all sorts of remedies including something for my husband’s cough. We saw cobblers, weavers, spinners of silk thread, a neighborhood oven where people bring their dough daily for baking bread. We visited local markets where tourists don’t go and ended at a restaurant for couscous and mint tea. It was a lovely morning and Mohcine was considerate and upbeat. A most enjoyable tour and I highly recommend his services.
Rachid was an excellent guide. He’s from the city and is friendly with many of the locals. He speaks many languages as well. I don’t think we could even begin to have explored all we did without Rachid. He showed us spots that otherwise we probably would have missed. The history, the people, the culture all were weaves into the tour. Even our children were entertained. Rachid made sure they had fun as well. He encouraged the kids to try new things. Hands down, one of the best personal tours we have been given. We are so grateful. Thank you!
Taoumi was an excellent guide and historian. He was responsive, helpful, professional and well-organized when setting up the tour, including booking ferry tickets. Everything went as planned, with beautiful site-seeing. We enjoyed our time and hope to return again to Morocco to take future tours with Ahmed! Book him if you have the chance!
We reached out to Ahmed Taoumi in July 2022 for an October trip, and were incredibly impressed by his quick response time, clear knowledge of the industry, and pragmatic advice. The day before our scheduled visit to Tangier, the forecast showed heavy rain (all day) and thunderstorms. While Ahmed was willing to continue on with our family tour, he was also candid about the physical/comfort challenges with proceeding. We decided it safer to not go as we were traveling with my parents. Ahmed’s honesty and candor were noteworthy. He enabled us to make the safest decision for the group, although this meant loss of income for the tour on his end. (I do regret this result.) Ahmed was an exemplary guide from start to finish demonstrating a high bar for customer service.
Such a great experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us A LOT during the 6 hours of this amazing tour. We learned so much about this beautiful and full of history place. It is an incredible piece of the world that we now want to come back to and explore some more. Thank you for a great time!
Travel guru Rick Steve’s was spot-on with this recommendation. Ahmed was excellent from the planning phase to the end of the tour. Great listener - he customized our tour based on our priorities, and did not force anything on us; he was very clear he didn’t have any arrangements with vendors for commissions or kickbacks. His knowledge from a lifetime in Tangier was extensive and his communication outstanding - he made the history of Morocco entertains as well as educates. I’d highly recommend Taoumi to anyone visiting Tangier. Camel ride optional ;-)
While Morocco suspended the ferries from Tarifa, Spain - Tangier for 2 years, we were fortunate that the service resumed just before our trip. Mr Taoumi tailors your tour to your interests via email before your visit. We requested and received a 4 hour walking tour of the Medina and Kasbah that focused on the history, culture, and people of Tangier - 20 € pp. Our guide Rachid was excellent - charming, knowledgeable, fluent in English. Born and raised in Tangier, he was a perfect guide to his city. We had a couple of items we wanted to shop for, and at the end of the tour Rachid took us to 2 nice shops with quality merchandise. We took the 9am FRS ferry to Tangier and 2pm ferry back, giving us 5 hours to stroll around. If you schedule more time there, Mr Taoumi can schedule more inclusive tours that can add sights outside Tangier by car. Ferry Tip: FRS told us to be at Tarifa Ferry Terminal "at least 90 minutes before departure". Perhaps because our ferry was mostly empty, 30 min would have been ample.
Rashid was a wonderful tour guide. My wife and I recommend him to all. We had a great time,,! He and Ahmed, our driver, were fun to be with for a day's tour. I recommend Taoumi very much.
Can not be overly effusive with praise for the tour Rachid gave us. As a history major in college, he has the depth of knowledge and the skill to place each site and attraction in a context. Each question asked received an answer with that breath and depth. He backed a full day of touring and we saw all the major sites of Tangier and more. He met us at the ferry port in the late afternoon with a minibus and a driver. During the drive to our hotel in the Kasbah, he gave us a broad overview of the convoluted history of Tangier as we were driven through the various neighborhoods (French, Belgium, Italian, American, etc). At our request, he took us to buy water and then showed us a Moroccan restaurant close to our hotel. The next day, he was right on time and the 1st part of the tour was a driving tour with multiple stops followed by a walking tour for the rest of the day. The balance was just right and we saw all the highlights. Rachid uses the time very efficiently and caters it to what is requested. We wanted little to no shopping and that is precisely was we were given. With our permission, he brought us to a local Moroccan restaurant. We were the only tourists there and the food was superb. When we return to Morocco for another visit beyond Tangier, we will be asking for Rachid.
An excellent day trip with first class guide, Rachid, who is so knowledgeable and passionate about Tangier his birth city. Varied, interesting, enlightening. Above all, recommended. Don't hesitate. Richard and Jennifer
A friend and I experienced the full-day tour with Rachid in early December. Ahmed arranged for the ferry tickets from Tarifa, and Rachid enthusiastically met us as we exited the ferry. Rachid, a history major in college, was so knowledgable and so efficient in making the most of our day. He also made sure to ask about our interests and readily adapted the tour to what we wanted to see. He had a taxi driver ready to take us to see the layout of the city, while continually sharing its history. We then headed out to see the coast where the Mediterranean/Atlantic meet, the cave, and he offered us the option to ride a camel on the coast. The taxi took us back to the Old City where we spent the remainder of the afternoon walking and getting historical insights from Rachid's vast knowledge. We stopped in an adorable tea/coffee shop where the Rolling Stones visited in 1967 and lingered in fun conversation with the owner. We told Rachid that we only wanted to shop for 20 minutes, and he guided us to the best shops for what we were interested in and coached us on negotiating. It was fun. At the end of the afternoon, we requested to eat in a traditional (not touristy) restaurant. Rachid brought us to a super cool and very local place and ordered for us. Even if we'd found the place ourselves, we wouldn't have known what and how much to order. As Rachid walked us back to the ferry, he took the scenic route though the old hotel which was beautiful. I just loved how efficient, knowledgable, and nice he was. A highlight of our vacation. Thank you Rachid!
Excellent day. Collecting our ferry tickets in Tarifa which Ahmed had arranged was no problem. 4 of us were met off the ferry, & taken for a brief tour in a taxi followed by a walking tour of the highlights of the old city. Unfortunately, being midday Friday, many of the shops in the Medina were closed but this did not detract from our enjoyment. Lunch at our own expense was excellent and reasonably priced. If you don't want to buy carpets or anything else, or visit the American Legation, just say so. Don't be concerned, they will get you back to the port with just enough time to catch your ferry. Well recommended.
Taoumi provided an amazing fact filled tour of Tangier and surrounding area. He is warm, friendly and so knowledgeable. It was simple to take the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier. A fabulous one day adventure, local cuisine for lunch and lifetime memories.
We enjoyed the private tour with Rashid as our guide. We saw and learned so much about the beautiful Tangier and Morocco. We aren't shoppers, so we requested no shopping. We especially enjoyed the camel ride on the beach and the scenic views. The walking tour around the Kasbah was informative as well. Thanks for a wonderful, safe, informative tour!
We have spend a wonderful vacation in Tánger with out guide Rachid. He met us in Tánger port and took to hotel so that we could check in. After that we had excursion around Tánger. We visited old town medina, Hercule cave, cape where meet Mediterrània and Atlantic ocean. The next day we went to Tétouan and Chaouen. We loved very much that lovely city Chaouen. Rachid took us to the most interesting places and beautiful views. It was exciting day. And on the third day Rachid invite us to the real Moroccan breakfast. It was delicious. And then to the port. We want to say thanks to Rachid. It was very interesting and wonderful time in Morocco. Daria and Alex
We only had 2 days in Tangier and Chefshaouen, and our tour guide Abdul gave us so much information about Morocco and the cities and towns along the way. We were promptly met at the ferry when we arrived from Spain and dropped back to our hotel at days end. Pick up next day was just as prompt. Each days tour was very thorough and informative. There were many little inclusions on both days initiated from our guide and from what we found out later, our guide Abdul went the extra mile to show us more than the usual 'run of the mill guide'. Loved Chefshaouen and off the beaten track around Tangier. Lovely once you get away from the main beach area. In saying that, we also loved the old town at Tangier. Tip, wear comfortable shoes!
Like other reviewers, we took Rick Steve’s advice and hired this tour company. Our guide, Abdul, was on time, friendly and spoke good English. We were to go on a four-hour walking tour, but after discussing other possibilities, we agreed to add driving to the trip so we could get a better sense of the city - at no extra charge. We told him what we wanted to see (historic sites, not shopping) and he easily obliged. We saw Tangier from east to west, from on high and below. We spent the last half of the tour walking around the old city, seeing things we wouldn’t have seen without him. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a good understanding of the city and its long history. And he was very accommodating, not pushing us and allowing us to see what we wanted to see. We ended the day at a wonderful Moroccan restaurant where, of course, he knew the owner and asked him to serve us a wonderful lunch at a discounted price. And so he did It was delicious — the perfect end to a great day. Highly recommend Abdul.
We did not have a good experience with this company. Please read up on the city main spots before booking any tour because we realized this one skipped a lot. Our initial guide Ahmed (recommended by Rick Steves) cancelled the day before as his son was ill and said that Mustafa would be our guide. We said no problem. Mustafa started out very nice and took us to the meeting points of the oceans but in the city he was very rushed and insisted on taking us to stores that "he knew" instead of walking the bazaar. He was annoyed we didn't buy from his vendors. He did not take us to the inside of the Kasbah which we later realized and did not take us to the American Legation. I asked so he showed it to us from the outside but then I said "no, i will pay to see it." so he grumpily agreed and just sat the whole time without informing us of the history of anything. As an American tourist, this should've been important and I was disappointed he did not deem it so. He was annoyed we knew a little about the city so were asking questions. He also seemed surprised I wanted to see Ibn Batuta's tomb which was right there. He walked 20 feet in front of us the whole time. AND to top it off he said there was no good Morrocan restaurant in the whole city that was open and insisted we eat Syrian food. We agreed but soon realized he had a "deal" with the restaurant owner just like the "store vendors" he recommended.
We (4 persons) had a full day to spend in Tangier and Rachid of Taoumi Tours was our private guide. It was a standard tour of the city with an overview of the suburbs, a visit to the spot where Mediterranean and Atlantic meet and the Cave of Hercules. Rachid was an excellent guide and shared a lot of information about the city, its different areas and the history. The highlight was our visit to the kasbah and medina, and if I were to do it again, I would shorten the new city portion and concentrate on this interesting area. Aside from the winding lanes and hidden passages to explore, there are at least 3 interesting sites/museums: the Kasbah Museum, the American Legation Museum and the wonderful Nahon Synagogue. We had time to visit all of them, but were pressed for time at the end. Rachid did his best to get it all in for us--another day would have been good, but our ship was sailing!
The full-day tour of Tangier and surroundings was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. Our guide was a native of the area and appeared to know everything. He was very patient with our questions and photo-taking and we had a blast with him. Much recommended!
We spent the day with Mustafa and were very happy with the day. At the beginning he asked us how much time we had to make sure he knew if we wanted to take a leisurely pace or were in a time constraint. We drove the first part and then walked around through the markets. We did go the carpet selling place (that everyone goes to), but did not feel pressured to buy. He also took us to a place to buy oils and spices, which I told him I was interested in. We had a nice lunch in the middle and overall were very happy with our day. Mustafa was warm and open and shared a lot about his culture and his city. Highly recommend Taoumi Tours and Mustafa.
Our guide, Ahmed, provided us with excellent information and background on Morocco and especially Tangier. We learned from him about the culture, religions, history, etc. He was a wealth of information! We were very pleased that we decided to take the day trip from Spain. Very worthwhile!
Really great tour! We've been to all places we wanted to and many more. Our guide - Rashid, was really really helpful, calm, friendly and full of knowledge. It was really the best possible way to start out moroccan tour.
I would hire him again, and every time I come to Tangier. It was like being shown around by the mayor of the city!!
I did a TON of research on my own before choosing a guide company, and am so pleased we decided on Ahmed and Taomi Tours. We had two tours, one full day in Tangier and another going out to Tetouan and Chechaouen, both with Abdul as our guide. He was exactly what we were hoping for: polite, helpful, knowledgeable, knew history, politics and culture, excellent English, patient, and clearly well respected by the community. He took us to a wonderful meal at an authentic Moroccan restaurant and we ate traditional Moroccan foods that he picked out for us. He even took us on a hike we were hoping to do outside of the city! I also have to praise Ahmed for his excellent email communication leading up to the trip. He answered every one of my questions and did so promptly and respectfully. We are very grateful to Ahmed and Abdul for making our Morocco experience so memorable and fun. The fact that his tour prices are fair and reasonable compared to some others was an added benefit. Certainly hope to go back someday and take more tours with them!
I had two tours with Rachid who told me to list Taoumi Tours for review. We first traveled around Tangier and I can say that I had a full day of Tangier and Rachid made sure all was great for tour. We did see everything on my list of to do and much more. In a few days we met up again to see Asliah, Lixus and Laracha. This was even a better tour due to all the things I wanted to see and limited time. I can say that Rachid did all and more to have a tour I wanted and make it happen.
From start to finish, Ahmed Taoumi provided us with a well planned, professional tour. Booking online couldn't have been easier and Ahmed arranged for our ferry tickets, so all we had to do was show up at the ticket counter with our confirmation number. Disembarking was just as easy with Ahmed's friendly welcome sign greeting us in Tangier. The entire day was stress free, exciting, yet safe. Ahmed is incredibly knowledgeable on every aspect of Moroccan life, history, geography and trivia! We asked a lot of questions which were patiently answered and liked that the tour covered Tangier's outskirts (caves of Hercules), new section, Kasbah and Medina. We knew we made the right choice when the other guides at the port told us, "You have the best guide" and everyone in the city seemed to know and respect Ahmed! It was a wonderful day and we would highly recommend Ahmed to anyone wanting to learn about and see the "real" Tangier.
We were really excited about our tour. We read about this in Rick Steves so we thought it was a sure thing. We had specified we were interested in culture and history, and absolutely not interested in shopping. Instead we get rushed through the city, not really learning about anything, no history or how the city came to be the way it was. There were none of the typical tour guide things like fun facts, or interesting stories about a place, or honestly really anything. We actually left thinking well, maybe Tangier just doesn't have that interesting of a history. Finally we got seated for the 'best thing in Morocco'... Which turned out to be a hard sell for rugs. We walked out and ended up taking an early boat back because, as he said, 'we'll then the tour is over'. We were so excited about Morocco but it ended as a low point on the trip.
I couldn’t say enough good things about Ahmed Taoumi’s group. I contacted him at the very last minute and he was immediately responsive, arranging a guide and ferry tickets for the next day! Working with the guide company, the ferry tickets were actually cheaper than buying through the ferry company itself. Although we didn’t have Ahmed as our guide, we had Abdul, who was excellent. His English was perfect and he give us an extensive and informative tour that included tidbits of history, local lore, and a few stops that were outside the typical tour. His enthusiasm was infectious, in fact, he got us so excited, we promised to come back for a week. We also had a great driver who was eager to please, patient, and willing to stop anywhere for a photo. Together, he and Abdul kept the hustlers away which made for a very pleasant visit. We felt welcome and safe in Tangier. Highly recommend this group - and Abdul who speaks English, German, French, Arabic, and a few more languages - for their responsiveness and professionalism.
My husband and I spent a wonderful day in Tangier in October 2018 with the very knowledgeable and personable Ahmed Taomi leading the way. Ahmed arranged ferry transport from Spain in advance, gave us instructions as to the customs process and met us in Tangier, all of which went smoothly and easily. We then spent an entire day with Ahmed, who first gave us an overview of Tangier and surrounding landmarks by car, then a tour of the Casbah and the medina (old town) on foot. We learned not only about the history of Tangier and Morocco, but the culture, and got a view into daily life as well. Ahmed is a native "tangerine", and knows the city inside and out. We ran into people all day who told us we had the best guide in Tangier. He made the city come alive for us, answering our questions and telling us stories and anecdotes along with the factual history. We walked through a market to see foods, spices, and an amazing array of olives. We were able to visit a synagogue, hidden away on narrow, twisting streets, that gave us a vivid picture of Jewish life today in Tangier. At the end of the day, before heading to the port for our return ferry, we sat in the petit socco and drank mint tea with Ahmed, who by that time felt like an old friend. We're sorry we had time only for Tangier this trip, but hope to see more of Morocco in the future, ideally with Ahmed as our guide.
My husband and I recently spent the day touring Tangier, Morocco. We had a great time exploring the city mostly because we had Ahmed Taoumi as our guide. He is excellent. We arranged our tour via email and Ahmed sent us specific, detailed instructions that made it a breeze for picking up our ferry tickets (included in his price), getting through customs and meeting him at the port in Tangier. Ahmed had a car and driver waiting for us. We spent the morning touring the new part of Tangier. He took us out to see the Atlantic ocean and the Herculaneum caves. The driver dropped us off in the old city and we spent the rest of the day walking (all downhill) through the Casbah and Medina. Ahmed is very engaging and knowledgeable about the history and culture of Tangier. He shared interesting tidbits about the city including films that were made there and famous authors who lived or spent time there. He also arranged a very filling, delicious and inexpensive lunch for us. At the end of the tour he walked us back to the port and again explained the customs process and forms to return to Spain. We had a great time in Tangier and left with a warm and welcoming feel for the place, mostly due to Ahmed and his personal touch. More then once on our tour we were stopped by friends of Ahmed's who told us we had the best tour guide in all of Tangier and we were lucky to have him. We spent a wonderful day in Tangier and would highly recommend Ahmed to anyone planning a visit.
We had Mustafa as our guide. He definitely knows every nook of the city, which was a benefit. However, it quickly became clear that the thrust of the tour was to culminate in very aggressively pushing us to buy things we didn’t want (like rugs) from vendors with whom he clearly had pre negotiated relationships.
Abdul was our guide for 2 days in June, 2018 when we visited Tangier and Chaouen. We were very impressed with his historical and present day knowledge. Also, his knowledge of English and French insured that everyone in our group understood the information he was sharing. He regularly asked if we were enjoying what we were seeing and was always open to suggestions if we wanted to make slight changes to the schedule. As we were staying in the Medina, he walked us to and from our lodging as well as to restaurants for our evening meals. I would highly recommend Abdul as a tour guide. With his guidance, we saw sites that would’ve been more difficult to locate had we been on our own.
Ahmed Taoumi was very responsive via email, and set us up with Mustafa for a day tour of Tangier. Mustafa’s positive spirit, openness and sense of humor were wonderful pluses to a fun and informative tour of this beautiful and historic city. He seems to be known and respected by everyone in Tangier! He opened doors for us to great food, interesting history and lovely handicrafts. Eye-opening and a great experience at every level!
Ahmed Taoumi was so enthusiastic about Tangier and so interesting to listen to. He didn't try to take us to any of the shops unless we requested it and we all learned a great deal from him. It was one of the best days we had on our six week trip. I would highly recommend him.
Abdul was our great guide. Excellent all the way. Made our visits to Tangier, Tetouan and Chaouen a very memorable one.. He was very thorough in explaining the history, culture, the places of interest, the view points and almost all aspects of the places you can think of. I very highly recommend him.
