From Tangier: Excursion To Chefchaouen With Hotel Pickup

This was my 2nd time traveling to Chefchaouen and with Xauen Tours cause I wanted my mom to experience the beautiful Blue City! 💙💙 Adan our driver was on time, very kind and safe driver. Our tour guide while in Chefchaouen was really kind, funny and knowledgeable! This is my 3rd trip to Morocco in the last couple years so that pretty much explains my love for this place and its people! Shukran for an amazing time! 💙💙💙

Driver was very professional, personable. Vehicle was new and comfortable. The “Blue City” is magnificent and the 2 hour drive was through interesting terrain. Of course it is a tourist area so the idea is how to part you from your money. This is a “tipping” culture so be prepared to “tip” anyone who takes a photo for you, gives you directions or brings you their “father/grandfather/brothers” store. On the way home we were stopped at a police checkpoint where our driver was asked to leave the vehicle. He disappeared behind a police care. He came back about 5 minutes later. He confided in me later that he had to “tip” the police to get through. All things considered it was a great tour. I gave our driver a good tip 😁 He deserved it!!

Amazing experience! Our hotel was out of pick up zone but able to pay extra to get picked up, transfer was smooth and comfortable (coming from someone over 6”!) and the guide was lovely. Forgot our sunglasses in the transfer back and he was able to come drop them off at our hotel, definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful trip thanks to the driver Youssef. He was funny, entertaining and made this journey a memorable one. Me and my kids enjoyed the tour in the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen. Youssef Nabkout was our driver on the day trip transfer to Chefchaoen and I just had to write a review about how much fun he is and how well he took care of us. He treated everyone like family. Communication about meeting spots was very clear, and on the journey he played fun music, talked to us about Morocco, and we all joked around and had a blast! The van was extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious; there was a TV showing sights from Tangier, and the air conditioning kept us cool despite the very hot day. Plenty of water was provided, a little snack from a local fruit stand, and we stopped to see a couple to great views and for bathroom breaks and snacks. If I could put more than five stars for this company and for Youssef, I would. They are truly number one in my travel book!

I had a great experience in Chefchaouen thanks to this tour. The trip was comfortable, with a nice van, water on the bus, and wifi, and we even stopped at a beautiful lake along the way. When we got there, we were given a full tour of the city by our guide Omar, and he was very knowledgable, charming, and friendly. He really enhanced the trip a lot! Would definitely recommend this company.

It is a trip that you have to take, it is worth it. It is a very beautiful experience. The transport was very comfortable and the driver was very pleasant.

Pickup and contact went super well and on time. There was enough time to explore Chefchaouen and to take breaks for drinks and food on site. The city is beautiful and worth a trip for everyone. I was able to take great photos of the blue city and the many cat families - super beautiful.

This small village was part of my to-do list of wonders of the world to see once in a lifetime! Care provided, driver, escort (Abdul) very professional and vehicle very comfortable. Timings respected. Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco.... Strolling through the alleys with a thousand shades of blue. Craftsmanship, shopping, and the locals are all welcoming. I recommend it without hesitation!

They did not inform us about what we were going to see or what we should visit... The driver was going too fast, and we were a bit scared.

I was a bit worried having read that the road from Tangier to Chefchaouen is full of curves and therefore at risk of malaise, and instead I must say that it was an absolutely positive and quiet experience. Our young driver Assaad took us back and forth with a very safe drive, stopping both outward and back for a short break. Perfect times, very nice and prepared local guide who awaited us on arrival, time to have lunch independently and turn to admire and photograph this beautiful blue town. Booked online the day before with very clear and reassuring whatsapp instructions. To be redone!! And also a little gift as a souvenir.

The carrier has been very nice at all times, he has told us things about Chefchouen that no one had told us before, plus he has shown us very unique places before reaching the destination. A plus is that it lets you put the songs you want in the car!!! It is definitely highly recommended

Very serious and reliable..They warned by WhatsApp at all times of the pickup time in Tangier. . Very friendly in and very well organized. Of course, for older people, the seating space is small, at least in the minibus we took. And the curves would have been grateful if they were taken softer to avoid dizziness. Still, I would repeat if I had to make the same trip again.

The transfer from Tangier Airport to Chefchaouen went very well. The very friendly driver told us many things about the country and culture apart from some tips. Plus, he stopped us at a place with a view. Ideal as it was our first time in the country.
