Ali is a marvelous driver, and a fairly accomplished lyricist, if you're lucky he'll entertain you with a custom AI assisted Moroccan song or two... Mohamed, who provide the Medina tour in Chefchauoen was very knowledgeable and had a lot of information about the history etc Both had excellent command of the English language
Great experience, driver Hamid was great -picked us up from our hotel and stopping at beautiful places along the way for pictures. Tour guide in Chefchouhon was amazing as well, a native, giving a detailed and accurate history of the city and showed us beautiful parts of the city and unexpected vistas.

Wow what an extraordinary life changing experience. It all started when we got picked up by the most friendly driver Ńizar. He stopped at great view points and let us control the music which was a huge bonus. He was simply the BEST. Then we met Yousef and he took us on a great tour of the “blue city” and gave us amazing historical information. We had so much fun exploring. It was a highlight of Tangier!
I highly recommend trips with Xauen Tours! Everything is well organised, we had private car and lunch included in very affordable price. I booked trip many times already and I am always coming back to them cause my friends and coworkers are always so happy. I had a chance to know many drivers and guides but the best driver is Nizar. We felt safe while going with him, the vibe was always amazing, he played my favourite music, he is so open, nice and positive to people. If you have a possibility, choose Nizar as your driver! And the best guide that | recommend is Nouaman! Also very kind, open and so intelligent, he told us lot of interesting information about the city and showed beautiful places to take photos. So in my opinion Nizar and Nouaman are the best duo for a trip in Chefchauen.
So we did this trip on 3rd October. We have mixed reviews from the trip as detailed below. This is an outline of the trip-- The driver picks us up from the hotel then drives for about 2.5 hours to Chefchaouen where we meet our local guide who walks through the city with us then at the end we meet the 3rd guide who rides with us to the waterfalls, goes on the hike with us and then we get on the drive back home. The BAD: Our Chefchaouen local guide was very boring and uninteresting. He wasnt a storyteller by any means. The day was extremely hot and the incessant walking with no interesting stories made the trip very unbearable. The GOOD: our waterfall guide(Homar/Omar) was quite the opposite. Very funny witty and would make the hike extremely fun. He even made adjustments for slow hikers and fast ones. Our driver was also very good. During the long drive in the morning he told us many stories about Tangier and Morocco in general. In the night he drove us safely back through windy dim lit roads and even though we were all very tired and sleepy he stayed alert the whole time Overall the trip was long.. but if you have good guides it's a trip worth making especially if you are into photos.

We had an incredible experience!! It was awesome!! The van picked us up on time at the hotel we stayed in. It had plenty of room, air conditioning and even Wi-Fi!! On our way to Chefchaouen, the driver (Mohamed Ahroun) stopped at a lovely restaurant with an amazing view so we could take a rest and have a drink (which was included). Once we got to Chefchaouen, we were met by a very nice and helpful tour guide that was born there (Youssef). He showed us the whole city, took lots of pics of us and told us lots of facts and interesting info about the history of Chefchaouen. We let him know about the kind of food we were looking to eat and he took us to a very cool place with delicious food! All in all, it was an amazing experience! We highly recommend this tour!!
Well organised and well worth the trip. Air con mini bus with wifi and excellent driver, what more could you wish for. Norman our guide in Chefchaouen was extremely knowledgeable being a local and nothing was too much trouble. Don’t miss seeing this fabulous place.

They have been excellent hosts, we hired them only to travel around Morocco but we received much more... great hospitality, tours that we did not expect, discovering wonderful places without asking, always attentive, they have made us live this experience in a way that we would not otherwise being for them would not have been so comfortable and surprising. The driver spoke Spanish and during the tour was very friendly, made the tour experience very pleasant. We had guide during the visit to chefchauen who gave us a good tour and explanations about the city and took us to beautiful places where we could take very good photos. Highly recommended.

I made a day trip from Tangier to Chefchaouen it was really amazing! The guide picked me up at the hotel and the road went very well, we stopped on a rest area where we had a little tea with other Moroccan specialties (msemens, baghrir etc) similar to the return and with an incredible view! Chefchaouen's visit was great, we bcp worked but it was worth it! At the end we ate local then went shopping. I highly recommend XAuen they are professional!
Pick up at the exact time and excellent trip from Tangier to Chefchaouen (2h30) in a very comfortable Mercedes van, (with Wifi ) with a very good driver, stop along the way, the road is pleasant, beautiful landscapes in the mountains of the Rif then wonderful discovery of the blue city at our pace accompanied by a young local guide very competent and good company and speaking an excellent French! The restaurant recommended for lunch break was perfect. Back in Tangier at 8:00. I strongly recommend this Tour which allows to discover all the beauties of Chefchaouen.

Our trip to Chefchaouen was unforgettable! Everything perfect with the transfer from Tangier, and our guide Chucre could not be better, very cheerful, entertaining, knowledgeable of the place and its stories and with excellent disposition. Fully recommended!
My husband my daughter and I were on vacation in Spain with the dream of traveling to Morroco but with a lot of fear for the language and the difference in culture. Well we decided and rented an apartment with spectacular Airbnb and the owner of the apartment advised our friend Mohamad to show us the city. I called him and we met at a restaurant and he immediately shut us up super good. My husband speaks only English and Mohamad speaks like 7 languages super smart and knowledgeable about everything in the city. We immediately hired him to see the city the next day. A super comfortable van with air conditioning and with its hafi driver that drives super safe. We went to the beach and there we took a camel ride and went to see where the Mediterranean Ocean and the Atlantic meet, we went to see different areas of Tanger and markets. He took us to eat in very local and spectacular places. We walk through Medina and many places that a tourist alone cannot go. We took us from shops to authentic places in short we had such a spectacular time that we hired them for the next day to travel to Chefchaouen a 2 hour trip that they spent fast and spectacular with all the information they were giving us and Hafi driving super spectacular. We always feel safe. When I arrived in the village I had everything ready to take pictures of us with the authentic costumes of the city. Always attentive to everything. Actually as a family we feel. The only thing we wish we had more time to travel with them more days. But we will soon again that we now have family there and we loved it. Returning from Our trip by accident we got with him on the ferry and it took his time to take us to a restaurant and we were no longer with him. We also recommended a spa and had a great time. Every place we went they knew them and we were treated with great respect and friendly by all. We fell in love with Morroco and will be back soon only this time we will travel with them home White and Marrakesh and sleep in the Desert. Thank you family for such beautiful days.
