After torrential rains closed routes to the blue city during our time in Tangier, we feared we would have to miss it entirely. Achraf came to the rescue on our last day. He did some checking with locals and determined we could successfully navigate the roads. We spent hours with Achraf driving through the countryside on the way to Chefchaouen. He took us to secret places, shared interesting facts and chose a delightful lunch spot. He was able to keep things interesting and gave his travelers advice on appropriate protocol to observe with local residents. We would never had found so many beautiful photo opportunities without his guidance. He even gave us an opportunity to do a quick visit to the beautiful city of Tetouan, so different than Chefchaouen or Tangier. My only regret is not having a second day to investigate further. Achraf is attuned to travelers’ needs for comfort and safety. We would definitely recommend his tour for both quality and value.

Phenomenal day. Tour guide helped me put when others cancelled last minute. I took express bullet first class from casablanca to tangiers. (35$ one way. Less for 2nd class). Clean beautiful train stations. Guide promptly met me and we had a wonderful Teo hours as he told me about the local culture and history. Very kind knowledge professional just wonderful. Car was new and very clean. He know chefchoauen very well so we went to many scenic and spectacular spots. Don't miss this opportunity! So fantastic. Highlight of morocco!

Fabulous day trip to the blue city with the very knowledgeable Rashid. We had a brilliant walking tour to see all the sites and best photo spots. This included a stop for some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice and a lovely traditional lunch afterwards. Rashid was good company and a very safe driver at all times on the very windy roads through the mountains to Chefchaouen. Thanks for a great day!

I’m a 23 year old solo female traveler and this was my first time in Morocco. I had originally went on a tour the day before with Ashraf and loved it so much, i decided to join him for another day. This time to Chefchaouen, the blue city. It was an incredible day tour and I’m so lucky everything fell into place. We walked around all of Chefchaouen, had an amazing lunch overlooking the mountains & was able to even see the artiseans working/teaching how to make their rugs. I definitely recommended taking a day trip to Chefchaouen with Acshraf! You will feel safe, comfortable & like a local!

We traveled with Achraf to the Blue City of Chefchaouen last week. It was an amazing trip made more so by Achraf’s warmth, knowledge, and deep love for the many cultures of Morocco. He picked us up at the ferry terminal and walked us back into get our tickets at the end of the day. Everything in between was simply magical! We highly recommend Achraf as a guide and will certainly be back soon to travel again through other parts of the country with Achraf!

Our tour guide (rachid) is now our friend. Such a gentleman, very knowledgeable of the history of not only the city but country as a whole which is something we enjoyed. No rush tour, knew the best spots for views and photos.

This tour was absolutely wonderful. I was traveling with my 3 children (9,11,16yrs) and Achraf was the ideal guide. He arranged very early morning pick up at the airport, a delicious stop for breakfast, a scenic drive to Chefchahuan, wonderful tour, and drop off at stay in Tangier. This tour was magical - winding streets, public ovens, artisans, market, historical sites like the camel trade inn, jewish heritage sites, rooftop views, and very clean restroom breaks. He was engaging, flexible, and responsive. Our lunch was the most delicious meal we had during our entire stay in Morocco! We liked Achraf so much, we booked him for a second day to tour Tangier. He was helpful and gave great advice. I would take a tour with him again in a heartbeat!

If the other 5 star reviews haven't convinced you already to book this experience, let me just say: BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE, you will not regret it. I promise you!! I booked this tour on a whim for my mom and I while we were in Morocco last week spontaneously. We were fortunate enough to have Rachid as our tour guide and driver for this experience. This company, Achraf, is very responsive, helpful and the absolutely best, hands down. They offered their services to pick us up from the airport and at a great price, considering there is no Uber and I'm not the most comfortable using taxis anywhere I travel for fear of getting screwed because I'm a tourist. I was a bit timid when we arrived to Morocco because it was just going to be my mom and I, but after meeting and getting to know Rachid, we felt safe, relaxed and comfortable exploring and getting to see beautiful Morocco. I cannot stop sharing what a wonderful experience we had because of Rachid and Achraf!! If this hasn't convinced you enough to book, I don't know what will. Rachid took great care of us! He was patient and so informative, and made sure we had a wonderful time. We felt like family, and not just a customer. This experience is worth every penny! I will book through Achraf again next time I'm in town.

He treated us like family the whole time, and made sure that every part of our 3-day tour was comfortable, fun, and educational! He takes care of everything you need. You can tell that he loves his country and takes pride in sharing his culture with visitors. The best part is that everyone who works with Achraf (drivers, local guides, etc) are just as nice and courteous that we really feel like we made new friends in the country! For our tour in Chefchaouen he hired a local guide (the most respected and well known tour guide in the city) to show us around, which made our trip that much more authentic. We got to explore the city at night, followed by a traditional home cooked meal. The next day we toured the famous blue city, which was absolutely breathtaking, I can't wait to come back to Morocco to see Achraf again.

Achraf's deep knowledge of history and architecture led to him explaining the historical context of various things I saw and asked about on the tour. Achraf is adept at assessing the things a guest is interested the most I'm a tour, e.g. architecture, food,.etc. on and will politely confirm his observations and make sure to point out such things along the way. As someone who loves local food on travel, I deferred to him on picking a restaurant for lunch and his pick was the best seafood tagine I've had in Morocco so far. Achraf makes it a point to show you aspects of the town that tourists don't know about, off-the-beaten path, if you may. Beyond that, he also showed me a part of town where locals like to hang out. Achraf is passionate about showing you Chefchaouen, a city, he, himself, loves to visit. I highly recommend you to have Achraf lead you through the winding, stone streets of the blue city.

This city is breathtaking qnd a maze in its self. This tour was one of a kind as he has experience in hiking the mountains and guided me up it.

This was such a fun day. Achraf made planning so easy. My driver picked me up at my hotel, and we met the guide outside the Medina walls of Chefchaouen. Salim, the guide, was so knowledgeable about the city, and brought me to the local shops and restaurants. We also did a brief overlook hike of the city. Bring comfortable shoes because the blue city has a lot of stairs! I would absolutely recommend this trip to someone who wants to spend the day in the blue city.

Achraf provides the ultimate tour of the unique “Blue City”. We enjoyed colors, beauty, history, flavors and shopping. Achraf is not just a pleasant and entertaining expert guide. He’s a host, a caring friend or a relative, who took care of us and helped us in many different ways. We will return to Morocco and tour the rest of the country with him.

Achraf, our guide was awesome ! We hired him for our Fez tour as well and from there he arranged for a wonderful safe driver to Chefchaouen (which is important since its a curvy road through the mountains). He made our experience extra authentic, by arranging for a local guide to join us. This local guide was key to navigating the streets and finding the picture perfect moments. He was a character and made it a very authentic experience. I definitely recommend booking with Achraf as he can also help you navigate through the neighbor cities. He’s a great contact for all of morroco.

Achraf organized for us a private tour of Chefchaouen. As a guide he is punctual, organized and tuned into the interests of his guests. He had so much to share with us about his country and the history of its people and culture in the Chefchaouen area. He takes great pride in making the most memorable experience for his guests. When we were setting up the extended set of arrangements, he provided valuable advice and guidance on accommodations to maximize our experience.

This is the second of 3 notes regarding tours we experienced with Achraf, this time to the mountain town of Chefchaouen, ‘the Blue City.’ Again with a personal driver, Achraf provided descriptions of the history and culture of the countryside enroute to our destination. We stopped at a roadside artisan shop, enjoying piping hot mint tea from the proprietors and perusing the many high quality products. We did not feel pressured in any way to purchase. Arriving in Chefchaouen, we were guided through the tangle of light blue colored alleys among colorful wares of shopkeepers. We were explained the history of the town’s development and toured two amazing very old lodgings, incredible craftsmanship in the interiors, wood carving, detailed painted ceilings, traditional tile work, light filled patios with roof top decks overlooking the nearby buildings, most of which are a soothing light blue. On our way back to Tangier, Achraf took us on backroads through a National Park of sparse Berber homes and villages, donkeys, sheep and cows. All this while dusk approached creating an ethereal feeling of stepping back in time. We so appreciate Achraf making such a magical experience come alive for us. When a traveler has only a brief time to feel the daily life of the different peoples of a country, we believe we were given the best opportunity possible.

We enlisted Achraf's services for two days of tours in Tangier and Chefchaouen. He was very flexible and supportive and incorporated all of our interests and time constraints into his planning for a truly custom experience during Ramadan. He made arrangements for us to be driven from Fez to Chefchaouen by his colleague Rashid (also wonderful). Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, Achraf arranged a local guide to show us the town while Rashid waited and later drove us to Tangier, where we were met by Achraf. During the time that we were not with Achraf, he called and messaged us to ensure all was meeting our expectations. Our day in Tangier with Achraf was perfect -- he was tireless, despite the fact that he was fasting and our happiness was his main focus. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of Moroccan life, the city, history and culture and shared resources on his phone such as historical photos to enhance his tour. For example, Achraf took us for a stop at the Grand Hotel Villa de France hotel where Matisse painted and Achraf showed us one of the paintings on his phone while pointing out the landmarks in the painting that were still visible from where we sat. Later, he took us to the food markets and to a restaurant, where he'd arranged for us to cook our lunch of two tangines!! All this was due to his understanding that we were interested in food and culture. I cannot say enough about Achraf -- having completed many private tours around the globe, I can honestly say that this was one of the best!

The views on the road from Tangier to Chaouen are spectacular Rafi or Rafa, our guide, always attentive to ensuring that we enjoyed the journey and helped us spend a spectacular day. Excellent guide, friendly, punctual and a good driver. I recommend it 100%

Giant fun and lots to see. Be sure to go to the castle / kasbah to take pictures of the blue city from above but it is quite an effort and in the summer it is sometimes not doable better to plan your walk on a cloudy day or slightly cooler day because the sun hangs over your head all the time..
