Chefchaouen Blue City Day Trip From Tangier

Very professional and courteous. The driver was great at explaining everything about our trip in multiple languages. The tour guide in Chefchaouen (Joseph) was amazing. He also spoke all the languages and he has degrees in history and will tell you anything and everything about the city you’re touring.

CHEFCHOUEN is very typical but too touristic in my opinion. Local artcraft is overlooked by too many souvenirs' shop. Our driver was a quiet man, he gave us very few information, but he was respectful and polite. we were quite disappointed to pay more 200 DH for a drop-off at the airport. we asked the driver if it was possible and at no time he told us that there was an extra fee. we had already money ser aside for a tip that we obviously didn't offer. very bad experience due to a behaviour that was totally dispensible.

Mohamed provided excellent guidance and arranged convenient door‑to‑door pickup from the Port of Tangier for our camel ride, a beautiful city Chefchaouen, and a stop at the scenic lake. He was professional, friendly, caring, and attentive to every detail. He stayed on top of the schedule, and we returned to the cruise right on time.

5 stars plus. Pick up was super easy. Omar, our driver, was on time and picked us up right from our hotel. The van stops both on the way to/from Chefchaouen, where there are clean toilets. Our guide Josef was from Chefchaouen and was very knowledgeable about the city. When it was time for pick up, we got a little lost, and since you have the drivers phone number, it was easy to be reunited. They provide bottled water for the trip. It was an amazing day. Loved the city, history, culture. Omar really gets 10 stars, not 5. THANK YOU!!

This day trip to Chefchoaun and Tetuoan was wonderful. Zouheir, the driver and guide was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. He answered our endless questions (both multilingual) and gave us insight into the Moroccan experience from pick up to drop off. The smaller group size was really nice and both Zouheir and Ibrahim accommodated my elderly mum's mobility(knee) struggles and our need to move very slowly. Accommodating us meant so much and Ibrahim never made us feel like we were holding the group back. Thanks to him we saw the beauty and learned the stories of the blue city. I would recommend taking this tour and asking for Zouheir (beautiful smooth drive with views out the rif mountains) and Ibrahim in Chefchaoun. 15 out of 10!!! Shukram from Toronto 🇨🇦.

This trip is worth the drive! The blue city of Morocco, is an interesting experience, located on these stunning mountains, with a fascinating 20 year history!! The drive, broken up by mid-way stops, is bareable, especially when Chefchaouen is so interesting!!

Great experience. Our Driver Khalid and guide Ali awesome. Ali walked with us and showed all point of interest. On our one it would have been difficult. We loved Blue city. It was so picturesque and beautiful.

Jalal was a great driver and did an excellent job of getting us to the Blue City and meeting our group's needs and requests. He timed it perfectly so we were able to get a camel ride as well. Jalal also was very understanding when my kids got motion sick in the car.

Guided tour well worth extra, the history and traditions very interesting, and explained very well by knowledgable guide.

Was just perfect Abdul picked us up at 11 stopped on the way , Then toby walked us around the small little footpaths.

Loved this tour! We were contacted the day before to explain the tour and where to meet. The driver was super friendly and was exactly on time to pick us up. Our tour guide Fuhad was amazing! He took us to all the main points and talked us through the history. We then had free time to eat and explore and gave us a great recommendation for where to eat. We even had a message after we came home to make sure everything went smoothly. Can’t recommend these guys enough

Great to hear English spoken again!! We have been in Spain, Morocco, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia and Italy. Our only confusion today was which Terminal BA and AA are in. We landed Terminal 5.

Driver, Jalal, was like a Swiss train - on time, courteous and professional. Traffic in Morocco is a bit crazy - always felt we were in good hands. The local guide in Chefchaouen, Abdul, was a delight. 12th generation local resident who spoke eloquently, sharing the history and sights about this very unusual and charming town. Communication with the tour operator was great.

Our driver Mounir was amazing and the tour was wonderful. The private car was very comfortable and good air conditioning. I would recommend using this service to anyone visiting Tangier.

It was an easy pick-up in a comfortable car, and the ride passed quickly. Our guide, Muhammad, was wonderful - very knowledgeable, and eager to share his home. We got to learn a lot from him about the history and current culture of Chefchaouen. We had considered skipping the guide, but were so glad we didn't - it wouldn't have been nearly as interesting or as meaningful. He also took plenty of photos of my friend and I, and recommended us a lovely spot for lunch.

You don’t need a guided tour if you have a good driver! I wish we only booked a driver and brought an audio guide! Our guide shared very little about the history and culture and instead led us from One Instagram spot to another! Our driver was fantastic, so that made the trip worth it but guides are hit or miss. Most treat their clients like dumb tourists who only want to shop and post on social media. In genere Chefchaouen is beautiful but a tourist trap, especially in the summer! Next time we come we will try to come in the off season and just rent a car and not hire a guide!

Muhammad (Esa) was the best tour guide. He took amazing photos of our group, answered a ton of questions, took us the the best authentic Restaurant in town.

Do this excursion, it is excellent. From start to finish it never disappointed. I received a great message the night before, giving me all the necessary information about the pick up. Due to this attention, the pick up went without a hitch. We were picked up promptly from our hotel by Jalal, and driven very carefully to Chefchaouen. The landscape is breathtaking and Chefchaouen is a little gem of a place. Our guide, Abduol, was wonderful, showing us all the hidden streets and giving us a comprehensive, historical context to the city. He recommended and dropped us off at a beautiful restaurant, where the Moroccan food was delicious. Our second destination was Tetouan. Our guide, Hosyn, was amazing. This city has many things to discover. We learnt and saw so much. Hosyn, explained about the different influences in the city. We saw bread being baked, several UNESCO sites, the King's palace and much more. Moreover, we had the pleasure of drinking sweet, mint tea. Jalal finished this great day by dropping us off at our hotel door. Thank you for helping us make great and lasting memories. Morroco does not disappoint.

We had a wonderful time on this day trip. Our driver, Jalal, was great and he got us there on time. Our guide, Mahmoud, was knowledgeable and kind. He gave us good insight into the city and showed lots of good spots to take photos. Chefchaouen is a gorgeous and ancient city. Well worth the trip.

The whole experience was better than expected. We travelled with 2 young children and we were apprehensive of possible travel sickness. Our driver Yasin stopped in the first hour to Chefchaouen at a local cafe with a great view so we had some coffee and cake. He then took us to Chefchaouen and left us with a local guide Mohammed who was very knowledgeable, patient and took us around the entire Blue city revealing the history of this lovely place. We had lunch at a local Moroccan restaurant again with a lovely view and we were the left to spend some time at our own leisure around the Medina. Very friendly guides, who understood our needs and took us around Chefchaouen at our own pace. Highly recommend this trip as a private trip as we didn't feel rushed and at the same time the price difference is not huge in comparison to a group tour.

Had a day’s private excursion from Tangier to Chefchaouen with Mohammed (driver). It was a lovely day for a family of 3 which included a 6yr old and teenager. Will definitely recommend Jeff Tours

While visiting Tangier we decided to have a day trip to the bleu city of Chefchaouen. An experience not to miss with JEFF team. These guys were amazing. Besides the transport services the provided insightful information about the region and tips on the best spot to visit and where we can have the most tasteful Moroccan dishes. Driver picked us from our hotel in Tangier at 8:00 (not late, perfect time) accompanied us till Chefchaouene, He made sure that we didn’t get bored while driving, we had fun all together and laughed all along the trip till our arrival to Chefchaouene where were greeted by our guide that took us to the best places and teached us about the Moroccan history and unique culture. I visited chefchaouen with my wife on April, we booked a car with driver from jeff transport , a simple and secure procedure. It was an exellent experience, we got all the travel details by email and whatsApp. when we arrived we found the driver waiting for us, he speaks fluent English, he was a real guide for us, smiling, polite and caring. The driver was a great connoisseur of the city of chefchaouen and showed us lots of wonderful places in the city and in the region. We visited Tangiers in March as a Family Group of 13 adults. We decided to use Jeff Transport (Tangier Taxi) for a trip to Chefchaouen and also a day trip to Asilah. The online booking process was very simple and efficient with excellent confirmation and communication from Morad in the office, who ensured that we had all the driver details, pick up location etc. and was helpful in answering any queries etc. On both occasions our driver was Ahmed. He was a very polite, friendly and an excellent and safe driver who spoke good English. The fully air conditioned minibus was in immaculate condition which made the driving a pleasant experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience on both occasions and would recommend this company to anyone planning to visit Morocco and planning to carry out private day trips or even longer excursions.

Our driver was Sufiyan who was very friendly. He provided great car service. Sufiyan took us from Tangier to Chefchaouen. He was very punctual and would arrive earlier than the pick up time. When we were on our way, he ensured we were comfortable. He bought us water from the supermarket. Chefchaouen was beautiful and he gave us great recommendations! I loved it there and he only made the visit better.

We had a nice time with Jeff Transport. Our driver was Hicham. He was friendly and patient with us. He picked us up from in front of our hotel. When we reached the vehicle, it was clean and comfortable. I felt safe with Hicham's driving even as we weaved around the mountain to Chefchaouen. Communication with Morad from the company was easy, as he was quick to respond and clear to talk to. I highly recommend Jeff Transport for any day trips.

I really enjoyed my tour through the Blue City. My guide Mr. Mohamed was informative, flexible and helpful. Mr. Abdul was my very safe and skilled driver and it was a genuine pleasure to meet him and spend the day with such a friendly and thoughtful man.
