Bestseller Tangier Private Tour: Highlights And Old Town

WOW! What a fantastic experience this was! First, we had no idea how beautiful Tangier is - pictures don't do it justice. And with the absolute best tour guide in all of Morocco, we were treated to the most amazing views. But Said did more than just show us around. He made us feel like family he was hosting. He treated us to a mint tea experience at a lovely hilltop cafe. We rode camels, tasted fresh dates in the marketplace, learned Moroccan history in a beautiful museum, shopped and had a fantastic lunch in a local cafe where we were treated like old friends. I can't recommend this tour more highly. Said provides all the information and entertainment, while a terrific driver drives the air conditioned van. Plenty of room and comfort and just an amazing day!

Our tour guide, Mohammed, gave us an exceptional day spent in Tangier. His knowledge of the history and culture of Morocco provided the ideal backdrop for the sights and experiences he brought us to. The tour operator asked questions prior to our arrival to ensure a customized tour that hit all the points we desired, and Mohammed did not disappoint, in fact went above and beyond our expectations. This being our first visit to this city, we did not know what to expect in terms of being able to navigate and communicate in a safe and timely manner. Once again, with Mohammed in the lead, we felt safe at all times, and he ensured our timely delivery back to our cruise ship. If you will be visiting Tangier, I highly recommend this company.

This was a great itinerary. We covered all the experiences we wanted to explore. We had a great guide in El Ghouch Ahmed. He was very knowledgeable and professional but also warm. I would request him on another tour. The driver was great as well. Good sense of humor. Highlights were camel ride, caves and old town as well as other parts of Tangiers. This tour was the highlight of our trip.

Said was an absolutely amazing guide in Tangier! Managing a group of 20 people is not easy, but he handled everything with incredible professionalism, positivity, and patience. He was always organized, attentive, and smiling, making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the experience. His energy and enthusiasm made the trip even more special for our whole group. Said was our favourite guide of our 2 week Western Mediterranean cruise. Tangier was an awesome city to explore for the day and Said listened to our interests and took us to the best spots to explore, sightsee, delicious lunch and shopping before being returned to our cruise ship just in time! He was also incredibly well read and knew history, culture and had great stories to share. We went to an artisan collective and bought a rug, table cloths, a lamp, and a tea set. All so beautiful and top quality. The shop owner agreed to send us some of the items to save our suitcases weight. Later in Canada when only the rug arrived (we were expecting a lamp too) we were frustrated and then after reviewing the receipt we saw the lamp wasn’t listed we were surprised and sad. We messaged Said and he contacted the store owner and incredibly advocated for us and explained the misunderstanding and a few weeks later the lamp arrived at our home no charge! Try doing that in the USA or Canada!!! Note to tourists- package deals of multi items are desired by stores, everything happens so fast make sure the agreement is clear, written down and sign the back of the rug. This time it worked out for us naive tourists only because Said! Said we send prayers to you and your family. Thanks again. So much respect for the Moroccan people.

Said was an amazing host who treated us like family. He was always smiling and took us all around Tangier! It was a wonderful day and we learned so much about the culture. He had a professional Driver.

Our tour guide was Alami Taidi Abderrahmane. He gave us the tour of a local , taking us off the tourist track and also telling us the background and history of many of the sites and building , We learned so much about Tangiers . He also arranged a camel ride on the beach . Our driver was wonderful, too . They both made sure we had a wonderful day in Tangiers. It was the highlight of our trip .

Muhammad was an amazing driving guide and driver ! He got us all around smoothly and we saw a lot. Our walking guide .. was equally amazing . Knowledge, spoke great English and was easy and fun to be around .

We were apprehensive traveling for our first time to Tangier, but but our guide Saiïd met us at the ferry with a big smile, we got in a nice air conditioned van with professional driver, and off we went to see the sights. His vast knowledge of the culture was very interesting. His studies of the arts was informative, and his personal connections to people and places we visited made us feel like a local. The day was worth every penny!

Our group of 4 couples booked a private tour with Said in Tangier. We absolutely loved it! Said was so organized and thoughtful with the order we did things in so we could avoid the crowds. He was very knowledgeable about the area and just fun! We checked off a lot of our bucket list items and our tour ended with the best Camel ride that we will never forget! I would give him 10 stars if I could!

Highly recommend this tour when you are in Tangiers. Our guide Anas was easygoing and very knowledgeable. He accommodated all of our preferences and found us a wonderful restaurant for lunch.

Loved our tour of Tanger with Mahmoud. He did a fantastic job explaining the history, culture, and the beautiful people of modern Morocco. His English was excellent, he balanced time in the car with walking in the city which kept things interesting. We couldn’t ask for a better experience.

When we booked our cruise, all of the shore excursions for Tangier were sold out. So this was the only private tour we had to book on our own. We didn’t know what to expect, but this tour was absolutely wonderful. We had Ali for our driver and Imad for our guide and they were both amazing. Imad was so kind and knowledgeable. We felt completely safe in all the locations we visited because we knew Imad was there looking out for us and making sure we had the best experience in his country. He made the day very special for our family (especially our 6-year old son). We left Tangier knowing that we got the best highlights of the city and a day we will never forget. Thanks Imad!!!

First time in Tangier, our guide was excellent. We had issues when our ferry was cancelled and our guide stayed at least 3 more hours with us, oriented us. Excellent tour. I will do it again.

10/10, Saeed made our first Moroccan experience comfortable and unforgettable. He speaks excellent English, and is both funny and extremely knowledgeable about Tanger and Morocco. With Saeed we did not have any stress about where to go, what to eat, or any problems with language. Tanger is a delightful city and we cannot wait to do another tour with Saeed throughout the rest of Morocco!

Book this trip! Saeed is so knowledgeable and passionate about Morocco and makes you feel like you’ve known each other for years. He makes everything extremely easy and comfortable. From the camel rides to the Medina to the Kasbah, we were immersed in the Moroccan culture and had an amazing time. Can’t recommend Saeed more.

Started off rocky as we couldn’t find our tour guide but once we did..WOW!! We had the BEST time! We just feel bad that we can’t remember our tour guide or drivers name because they really need some credit as they were amazing! Our guide has been doing this for 50 years so of course he knew everything and he told us all he knew! Anywhere we wanted to go he would accommodate us and it was just an amazing day. If we could give six stars we would!

Our guide was super knowledgeable and took us to some amazing sites. He was prompt and everything flowed at a great speed. I enjoyed the Hercules caves the most it was absolutely beautiful. We did not do the camel ride since we were going to the desert however based on the conditions that we saw these poor camels in I’d advise people to not ride them and save the experience for the desert where they are more properly cared for and not laying in parking lots

Hugged a twenty day old camel. Shopping the bazaars. Visiting an orphanage. Great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable.

Anas was great, he tailored the trip and sights to our desires. He took us to hidden treasures within Tangier and scheduled lunch when we were hungry. The lunch was at a local place with wonderful food and remarkably inexpensive. We felt Anas exposed us to the history of the country as it has morphed into a tourist destination. We highly recommend this tour and Anas as a guide.

Saeed's tour is THE BEST of the best. My family of 5 (3 young kids) were fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel, explore and learn from him. Not only he is educated in their rich history, but you can tell he takes pride in his work. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us an unforgettable Moroccan experience. Not just by showing us around, but also taking us to the best places to eat (he was able to cater to our vegetarian diet), often times with a beautiful view. He also enhanced our tour, such as a camel ride by a beautiful beach which our kids found so fantastic. Saeed and his driver were both very professional and kind, they felt like family showing us around. They made us feel safe and well taken care of. Dont think twice, definitely book him as your guide. You wont regret it. Also ask him about other tours and pick up from the pier or airport. We also did the tour to the Blue City. He made our trip to Morocco so much more amazing.

Fantastic experience!! The tour included a visit to Hercules Cave and other remarkable sights, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Saeed!!! Had a fantastic time on our guided tour. Said our guide was amazing and kind. He was super patient as we were walking with 3 kids through the sites. He led us through the main city sites as well as places that were important to us as we had family originally from Tangier. We also did the camel ride which was great. I highly recommend this tour. Really went above and beyond and Said's knowledge of Tangier really helped us navigate the city. Do not hesitate to book.

Well, this is difficult because both the sightseeing and walking tour were both wonderful! The driven section was excellent - we had an air cooled Mercedes vehicle, with the excellent driver who took is to see some beautiful sights, and we then had the a walking tour through the streets etc, we saw some lovely houses, were given plenty of information about the area and we also met the local snake charmer, and my wife and daughter had them wrapped round their necks! A brilliant time!

Our tour of Tangier was amazing. Bilal hosted us for the day and he was so knowledgeable and a true local. He was happy to customise the tour to our needs and directed us to a lovely restaurant and some great shops. We particularly loved him guiding us through the Medina and was very patient with our frequent stops to look at shops.

We commissioned Saeed for a tour in April of 2023 and he was very helpful in advising on booking ferry tickets and provided important information that made our journey from Spain to Morocco very easy. We were able to find him upon arrival very easily and our sightseeing tour began. He was able to show us many beautiful and culturally significant places in Tangier and the beauty was breathtaking. The cave of Hercules was remarkable, and my son, who is a mythology fanatic, was entranced at the information Saeed provided and they were able to discuss many ideas, which was delightful. We then stopped for lunch at a cafe and Saeed helped us in ordering, and the food was just wonderful. We then began our walking tour, stopping periodically to shop and to learn. Saeed had so much wonderful information to share with us about his culture, and we felt very safe in his care the whole time. I cannot recommend his tour highly enough.

Two friends and I spent the day in Tangier. Saeed met us from the ferry terminal and started our tour and he made our day the best it could be. His local knowledge and passion for his home city made us feel like locals. He took us for amazing food and to see all the major sights. We couldn’t recommend this tour anymore highly. Amazing Experience. Before the trip, the tour guide, Said, had contacted me constantly and offered me help with hotel transfers or any other necessity I might need. He and his driver went above and beyond to help me. I felt safe and heard and the trip was very comfortable. He also took me to many spots in Tangier. I was able to ride a camel, go to the Hercules cave, and many other beautiful spots. I would recommend this trip to anyone sole female, or family. Said is very knowledgeable and goes the extra milage to give you an amazing and unforgettable tour!!!

Best experience in Morocco!   Family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children (12, 9, and 7).   We booked two experiences with Saeed. A half-day tour and a full-day tour for our two days in Tangier. It was perfect!   Saeed met us at the ferry and we immediately headed to the outskirts of Tangier. Highlights were camel riding on the beach, lighthouse, cave of Hercules, scenic parks, and great views. Our day ended being dropped off at our hotel with dinner recommendations in the area. Saeed picked us up at our hotel on the second day. The day was spent touring throughout the old and new towns of Tangier. He is very knowledgeable. The walking tour was customized for our family. Lunch was great. We stopped at shops along the way, but did not feel pressured to buy anything. It was a great combination of food, sightseeing, history, and a little shopping.   Our ferry from Tangier to Tarifa was cancelled due to weather. Not to worry though... Saeed knew about it before we did. He arranged a transfer for us to the Tangier-Med ferry terminal, even went with us, and ensured we had tickets to get on the ferry.   Our experience with Saeed is the best we have had anywhere in our travels. We would highly recommend him. We would not have been able to have our Morocco experience without him. Stop looking and book with Saeed. What an amazing day we had. Saeed picked us at right at train station, took us to wonderful areas (not in the tour books) and delivered us back to train station. He takes these awesome pictures for you at each location (his secret skill). We felt so comfortable- highly recommend this particular tour!

This experience made us fall in love with Morocco and Tangier in particular. Our host was genuinely interested in us as guests and tailored the experience to our interests and preferences. I really wanted to try out the Moroccan layered flatbread and my mother wanted to find herbal tea and honey and Saeed made sure to find us the best places to get them and was so generous with his knowledge and time. I highly recommend this company as it brings colour and understanding to the experience you will have in Tangier.
