I had an incredible experience with Selected Tours Tangier and especially with our guide, Hamza Targah. From the very first moment, he proved to be incredibly kind, professional, and passionate about his work. He has an in-depth knowledge of Tangier's history, culture, and most authentic corners, making the tour both interesting and entertaining. Hamza was always attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire tour. His positive energy and friendly demeanor made the experience even more special and authentic. I wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone who wants to discover Tangier in a unique and authentic way. I would definitely book another tour with him. Itinerary
The Marshan Palace is a palace of the King of Morocco in the Marshan neighborhood of Tangier. Stop to explore the spectacular arhitecture and art.
The Perdicaris Park, also known as the Rmilat Forest and formerly as Villa Aidonia or Place of the Nightingales, is a public park covering 70 hectares in the Rmilat neighborhood of Tangier, Morocco. It is located on the northern slopes of the Jebel Kebir hill facing the Strait of Gibraltar, between the Cape Spartel reserve to its west and the Jebel Kebir Royal Palace to its east. It is named after Greek-American notable Ion Hanford Perdicaris, who created it in the 1870s and was kidnapped there in the mid-1904 Perdicaris Incident. Now this park is popular for picnics, exercising & panoramic sea views from its hilly hiking trails.
Cape Spartel is a promontory in Morocco about 1,000 feet above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, 12 km west of Tangier. It is the northwesternmost point of the African continent.
The Caves of Hercules is an archaeological cave complex. Caves of Hercules. The cave has two openings, one to the sea and one to land. The sea opening is known as "The Map of Africa." It is believed that the Phoenicians created the sea opening, which is in the shape of Africa when looked at from the sea.
The Jardin de la Mendoubia is one of the many green spaces in the city of Tangier. It is located not far from Place du 9 Avril 1947.
The Kasbah of Tangier is situated in the upper part of the medina. In other words, to visit the kasbah you must make your way to the medina, a small universe bursting with life, and then navigate its steep streets to the oldest part. The former citadel dates from around the tenth century and, although it has gradually been altered, it still retains enough of its original characteristics to transport you back in time.
The synagogue was built by Moshe Nahon, a banker and active member of the Tangier Jewish community.
Stroll through the maze of narrow streets and colorful markets in medina and immerse yourself in the local way of life. Stop in one of the panoramic terraces overlooking the old city of Tangier, relax and have a cup of mit tea. For lunch try the best Moroccan cuisine. Interested in Moroccan craftmanship? A piece of art, nice rug or just a small souvenir? Your guide will recommend you the best quality of places and help you to get great deals.

A big thank you to Reda for the wonderful tour of the old medina of Tangier. He is a very professional guide, always reachable, polite, and attentive. Thanks to him, we had an excellent experience and discovered the medina in the best way. Highly recommended! 👍
The best experience of my life with this guide. He have a great knowledge of Tangier, showed me every place that I didn't even knew existed. All the local markets and attractions he knows well. I recommend to try him
The experience with Hamsa was perfect. He explained interesting facts about the city, its culture, and its religion. He showed us interesting spots in the city and gave us a brief explanation of each one. His personal service was perfect. I've taken many tours in different cities, and he's undoubtedly one of the best tour guides I've ever had. 10/10
The 4-hour tour in Tangier was absolutely perfect and a great way to experience the city in a short amount of time. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. We explored the highlights of Tangier, including the old medina, Kasbah, and some beautiful viewpoints, while learning about the city’s rich history and culture. The pace was relaxed, never rushed, and there was plenty of time to take photos and enjoy each stop. Transportation was comfortable and on time, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The guide also gave great local insights and recommendations that made the tour even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this 4-hour Tangier tour to anyone visiting the city—especially if you have limited time and want to see the best of Tangier in a few hours.
Wonderful, fully immersive Tangier experience. Our guide went above and beyond and we even had a second guide on foot to show us around the Kasbah and Medina area. Would highly recommend choosing this tour for your next visit to Tangier!
Our tour guide Yaher was kind and patient. He took us to all the places we were interested in seeing and took us to a very nice restaurant for lunch and introduced us to Moroccan cuisine which was absolutely delicious! For some reason we had 3 tour guides which was excessive in my opinion. Azzam (not sure of the spelling) took us on a tour throughout the Kasbah and the Medina and was quite knowledgeable and friendly. He was such a delight to be around. The 3rd guide (I don't know his name as he never introduced himself), was the person we liked the least. He met us at the port and we had to hike about 1/2 mile to meet our driver. This could not be avoided because it's in a secure area where cars are not permitted. He also joined us on the tail end of our tour. He was very impatient kept rushing us steering us into the stores we had no interest in. That was the most annoying. However, Yaher and Azzam's (sp) kindness, knowledge and patience made our tour worthwhile. Special thanks to Yaher for making our tour so memorable. Because of him, we are looking forward to visiting again.
Rida Bonab is the best!! He was knowledgeable, professional and fun during our entire guided tour experience. I loved how he navigated the narrow cobblestone streets with ease and grace. His energy was electrifying! He was highly intelligent when it came to the history of Tangier. If you are looking for a brilliant guide, I highly recommend Rida Bonab!
Three of us, two from England and one from US, on our first visit to Tangier. We had a really great walking tour of the Kasbah, Medina, and other areas. Super guide!
Thanks for the amazing Tour you organized and showing us the best attractions of Tanger. We will come back and do other ones with you!
Extremely inclement weather -- wind and rain -- and the driver had not made arrangements to pick us up near the cruise ship. We were expected to walk 100s of meters from the ship to the Mosque to meet the car. At the conclusion we took the ship's shuttle bus in order to avoid the lengthy walk.
It’s been a long trip with this amazing moroccan people , we enjoyed the food , the views …. And also the different cultures in one city it’s amazing ♥️♥️
Great tour, we learned about some of the history and culture of Tangier. Visiting the Synogogue was a special treat. The guides were able to arrange a look inside. The Jewish graveyard was beautifully kept. We were shown to some of the vendors in the market for just about anything you could want, and some uniquely Moroccan gifts to take home. Rida was very helpful and treated us like old friends. Stay in touch with him when you’re ready for your return visit to Tangier.
Great experience and Hamza a genius, a very complete excursion!! I definitely recommend it and I'm left wanting to come back for more!
The tour was perfect. They took us to the best spots and we felt like locals! Plus, Hakim and Hamza were really nice and funny guides too, we had a lot of fun.
Hamza is a fantastic guide, he introduced us to Tangier in every corner (BEAUTIFUL, has breathtaking landscapes) a little 'by car and a little' on foot. We were in the cave, on camels, at the market... Very nice and helpful, the guide can introduce you to Tangier at best. Super recommended!!!!
Excellent experience with hamza. Professional service, very friendly and knowledgeable guides, and well organized tours showcasing the best of Tangier. Fully recommended to know the city authentically and safely.
Super pleasant visit with Mohammed, a guide who met all our expectations. He shares the history and attractions of Tangier with a lot of passion and knowledge. We had a great day with him, highly recommend him.
