We had an amazing stay at Jaba’s House and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tangier. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the city. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Jawad. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire stay. He was always available whenever we needed anything, gave us excellent local recommendations, and arranged a fantastic local guide for us, which made our visit even more enjoyable and helped us experience the city in a much more authentic way. His friendliness and positive attitude made a huge difference to our experience. Thank you, Jawad, for your outstanding hospitality. We would definitely stay here again!

We went to Sabah house for my birthday and it was the best choice i could have made! Jawad and the team was very attentive and made me feel home, treating us really well. The breakfast was outstanding and delicious. We felt so special. Thank you again for everything. The Riad is beautiful and has everything you need inside the room.
Some places are beautiful. Others have character. Saba’s House has both. Tucked away in the heart of Tangier’s Medina, this riad feels less like a hotel and more like staying inside a carefully curated art space. The interior design is contemporary, blending modern aesthetics with Moroccan influence in a way that feels unique, stylish, and full of personality. Each room has its own theme inspired by a notable figure. We stayed in the Gaudí room, and the creative details made it memorable. The location is ideal — right in the old Medina, with everything within walking distance and the city’s atmosphere right outside the door. Breakfast was a daily highlight: fresh fruit, Moroccan specialties, and excellent coffee. The rooftop terrace is another highlight, with beautiful views over the Medina, the port, and across the Strait of Gibraltar toward Spain. What truly sets the place apart, though, is the staff — incredibly friendly, helpful, and consistently welcoming. Small Touchs like fresh fruit in the room and bottled water added to the feeling of being well cared for. Stylish, personal, and full of charm — I would happily stay here again.
What an amazing place to stay in the heart of Tangier’s Medina! The staff is incredible, the rooftop view is arguably the best in the city, and the breakfast is delicious. Our room (Gaudi room) was a bit stuffy because there was no AC or windows. Luckily we were there in May, so it wasn’t too uncomfortable. That was our only complain though. We wished we could’ve stayed an extra night!
We recently returned from 4 wonderful days at Saba's House within the Tangiers Medina and next to the Kasbah. It is a beautiful house with stylish and comfortable bedrooms and reception areas all stunningly designed and furnished by Roya Lamal, the owner. This personal touch is reinforced by Jawat and his team who are endlessly helpful with their suggestions and practical support with restaurants, guided trips and outings. Thanks to them for ensuring that we had a wonderful time. We loved the delicious breakfasts on the rooftop terrace overlooking the bay of Tangiers towards the straits of Gibraltar. Many thanks to Roya, Jawat and the whole Saba team for their professionalism and warmth in creating an oasis of beauty and calm. Highly recommended.
