Nice hotel, but it shows its age and hasn't been kept up well. The best part was the view from my room, I could see the whole city and the sea, and watched the sunrise. The AC barely kept the room bearable and was very loud. Breakfast was authentic but not my favorite. Location is great though, on a calm street just a few minutes' walk to the hustle and bustle of Tangier.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The receptionist was unprofessional and provided very poor customer service. The room, bed, and bed linens were dirty, and the overall hygiene standards were unacceptable. Basic amenities such as towels and tissues were not provided. The bathroom vanity had damaged wooden edges, and there was visible dampness and peeling paint on the wall next to the bathroom. This is not the standard anyone should expect from a 4-star hotel. I will not stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I also urge Agoda to review this property. Many previous guests have reported similar issues in their reviews, yet the hotel continues to be listed without any noticeable improvements. Agoda should ensure that properties on its platform meet acceptable standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service before continuing to offer them.
I stayed for 7 nights in the Prestige Suite, which was very spacious and offered a fantastic view. The hotel’s interior is modern, stylish, and generally very clean, although there are a few areas that could benefit from repairs or redecoration. The spa was not open during my stay, but the swimming pool is a good size, well maintained, and clean. Breakfast was generous with a good selection, and all of the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the Grand Socco and the beach. Taxis are also readily available outside the hotel, making it easy to get around Tangier. On the downside, the air conditioning could be more powerful, especially during the hotter days, and some room fridges were not working. However, the staff were happy to store items in the hotel kitchen fridge when needed. The corridors and public areas were kept clean, and we found that if you tipped the room attendant, they went the extra mile to provide exceptional service and ensure the room was well looked after. The spacious rooms, excellent location, friendly staff, and good facilities outweigh the minor issues.
The front desk was rarely staffed. When it was, they were very friendly. The buffet breakfast was awful with few items to choose from and no staff to restock or clean. We switched rooms when we discovered the bathroom door wouldn't close. The second room had similar issues but not to the same degree. Staff knew about the door issue before assigning us the room, which was just annoying. The location wasn't bad, but the hotel is outdated and not well maintained. I would suggest finding a different hotel if you're considering staying here.
DO NOT STAY HERE …P L E A S E….. ONE STAR IS MORE THAN ENOUGH. If there are negative stars it will get -5…. Driving to the entrance it felt like this place is abandoned… checking was ok… the room was big with balcony and view and THIS IS THE ONLY POSITIVE THING I CAN SAY. Bed sheets with spots and holes.. pillows horrible, no towels even after cleaning the room. Plugs did not work, Asked for ice and they said, we don’t have…i can go on and on and on.
