Really enjoyed this tour with Eugenia, who met us at the cruise terminal as arranged. We had a driver for the first part of the tour where we travelled out of the town. Eugenia was an excellent guide with good information. The second half of the tour was walking through the old town where we finished with some free time. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you Eugenia.

Really enjoyed our walking tour. Highly recommend Eugenia. Easy to understand and moved at a good pace
This was a very well organised and delivered tour. Our tour guide was fantastic and gave us enough information not to overwhelm us. The tour was at a good pace so would suit all ages.
2 hours later than scheduled. Not clear which of 3 security gates to meet. Not friendly. Would not take again. Also not clear name of tour. Sign said something different than highlights of tallinn
Great tour with Anastasia who knew the history and culture of Estonia perfectly . Really enjoyed everything ❤️
Very well done Professional guide We had a good time all day Recommend to every looking for a fun and educational experience
We had an incredible guide and a perfect experience in Tallinn. Be ready and able to do a LOT of walking. Highly recommended.
Wonderful day and Karina was passionate and knowledgeable. She looked after her our group very well with an older couple especially.
Outstanding tour in a beautiful city. The old town is marvelous. Our tour guide, Helena, was outstanding.
Serge was very knowledgeable, funny and very nice. We were 15 people in a minivan, the first 2 hours mostly by bus then we walked two hours. Met the tour at the end of the pier, signage could be a little better closer to the ship, but otherwise we found him.
Even though the tour stated pick up at and return to the cruise terminal, and the tour would only last 4 hours, in order to use the tour company’s shuttle back to the ship, we would have to stay another hour in Tallinn. In fact, our tour guide, Marina, warned us that the return shuttle would be a bus that would pick up another tour group as well as ours, so we had to remember the shuttle’s number as well as the driver’s name! Not exactly the small group tour experience we paid for! Marina took us to all the famous spots in Tallinn starting at the top of Toompea Hill and walking down to the lower Old Town area. She encouraged us to try the various offerings in the Old Town and pointed out Hansa, the medieval restaurant, and the old pharmacy plus interesting points to visit. However, walking the palace area where the consulates are located and walking down Toompea Hill to the lower old town shouldn’t have taken so long. The tour could have been shortened by an hour without missing any of “the must sees” like Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Toompea Castle, the pink Parliament building. Strolling the areas on your own would have been just as enlightening as this guided tour. We ended up walking back to the ship because an extra hour in Vanalinn was not what we wanted. Also, Marina directed us to the flower market in order to catch a cab back to the ship rather than helping us with walking directions. We stopped natives for directions and used Google Maps to walk back to the ship!
Walking/Coach ratio is out of balance. Walking is about 80% of the tour which led to some guests having to sit out sections.
This was a wonderful experience with a great guide. I highly recommend. The guides English was very pleasant and spoke good English. Tallin is a wonderful city.
Great guide and wonderful mix of walking and motorized tour. Would heartily recommend. Irina, our guide, was very knowledgeable
The beautiful landscapes their culture and the scriptures that are all over this beautiful city also the many different foods
Tour guide abandoned us after we were told where bathroom was located. We returned to find no group or guide. There were 3 possible routes and we never found the group.
Elena was a fabulous guide, provided lots of background and little known facts, was able to answer all of our questions and was very engaging with our group. An excellent guide, would highly recommend her!
This tour was a joint people carrier and walking tour, taking in the best of Tallinn's shoreline and city. There were 17 of us which was a manageable number. Our guide Elena was knowledgeable with really good English and a great sense of humour. Everything was explained in enough detail that we could take it in but not so much that we struggled to retain it. Who knew that the Estonians could be so self deprecating with many jokes at their own expense.
Roman promptly greeted us at the customs area (past the pier) in Tallinn, Estonia. From the moment he introduced himself I knew we were in great hands. He is extremely knowledgable about his city/country and wants to impart his knowledge to his clients. We did a combination of driving and walking tour. The walking tour of Old Town Roman included special moments we will remember forever. Showing me his Mom’s favorite gardens (stunningly gorgeous), his favorite courtyard (you would never know it was there), explaining the significance of doors, etc. He also took us on a tasting tour to get a flavor of the culture. Roman was my favorite guide of our 3 weeks in the Baltic. He will be your favorite as well. Book and ask for Roman.
Elana was a wonderful guide. She filled the tour with historical as well as current information about Tallinn. She injected humor and kept us on time. She should get a raise!
We had a lovely excursion with Anastasia as our guide who explained everything and would answer any questions. It was like a private tour as there was only 4 of us. We got to see many places and we weren’t rushed. I would highly recommend this tour.
This was a wonderful way to learn about history and culture of the area. Tallin was an amazing place! Dmitry was wonderful to work with in planning. Helena was a fabulous guide efficiently and professionally guiding us through multiple sites we would not have found otherwise. She gave great shopping and restaurant advice. The rain did not dampen her mood or ours. You won't be disappointed! I would gladly go again!!! If walking is not your thing make sure you choose a bus only tour. Our group had a few that did not realize walking was required even though it was listed as moderate activity.
This package tour was excellent, great 4 hours of rich culture and amazing history. Our Tour guid was fenomenal, his recomendation to eat at Peppersacks was on point, food was tasty, and the hospitality provided by Maria absolutely awesome. Great job Tallin 👏
Really enjoyed the city. Very beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Would love to come back and spend more time.
Generally the old town was the best part of the tour but I thought the whole tour was excellent. Our guide had a thorough understanding of history and was very easy to understand.
Very informative and great tour, however myself and husband don’t like “on your own time”. At the end of this tour had an hour (which I knew ahead of scheduling) however the guide did not lead group to the return bus instead mentioned numerous times routes to get back to port. we found the bus driver but there was no way he knew who was going back from out group. There was a group of 5 that didn’t get back on bus, guess they had own transportation.
The provider was disorganized. 1:15 late to start, difficult to find the provider, and many people almost missed their cruise ships. the organization of the tour was a mess. The guide was WONDERFUL, very knowledgeable, nice, and professional. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO MISS THEIR SHIP'S DEPARTURES!
Guide had excellent knowledge of Tallinn. Tour moved at a good pace. Could improve on meeting directions. Would be helpful to have a greeter close to the ship well identify. Unclear on length of excursion.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I was disappointed because we toured in a small bus. However the tour guide was very knowledgeable and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! We left and returned to the ship at the required time and enjoyed our day visiting Tallin, the old town and other places around Tallin
Great tour filled with history, stories, and a wonderful guide! We loved our time in Tallin - the people, the food & beer, and the architecture were beautiful! *Tip: if you’re visiting by cruise ship, drop a pin of your location when you get off the boat and give yourself at least 30 minutes to walk back from Old Town. The port is under construction and can be a bit confusing.
Arthur was great! We had a port pick up which included a free minibus. The tour is walking but you get the minibus between places too. Great value for money.
Our favorite port on the cruise! Our guide Yelena was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour very, very much.
Irina was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable. She had extensive info about all the sights as well as about the history of Estonia.
In spite of a rainy day. The visit was very informative, well paced with visits to the suburbs and the town centre. Our guide answered all the questions put to him in a helpful and humorous way. He gave us a fascinating insight into the history of Estonia. Very personable and well informed.
Such a good tour - our guide was so passionate about his country and this really shone through. We only had a short amount of time in Tallinn, yet we saw so much. Beautiful place - would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Wonderful overview of the country with a very knowledgeable guide. Lots of walking, but beautiful scenery & buildings.
Could have and should have been much better! The guide, Natalia or Natasha, while nice just did not make the tour memorable or unique. She lacked giving directions unless really questioned. The first half of the tour was a waste of time with the President's home, the amphitheater and around the harbor and Naval installations. Traffic was bumper to bumper and this was only the end of May. The van's rear left window panel was all fogged up so we could not see clearly out of it nor take pictures (replace or repair the window, van company). Much more time could and should have been spent in the Old Town, upper and lower, with history and stories of Estonia, Russia and the Baltic counties rather then during the wasted first half. Guide was hard to hear and even when asked to speak up, still couldn't be heard. There is much to see and appreciate in Tallinn but that's not what we experienced on this tour. Previous time, lifetime opportunity and $$ wasted.Viatour and guide need to up their game significantly!
Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Great way to learn about Tallinn. Would recommend
Our guide, Svetlana, was amazing! Very kind and attentive to my 86 year old Mom. Svetlana was extremely knowledgeable and was happy to share the history of Tallinn and Estonia with some humour as well. It was a great tour of a lovely city!
The tour was to leave at 12:30. Instead they left at 10:30. I was not informed as they tried to call me but I had no cell service on cruise. Total disappointment. No money refund yet.
Perfect experience with Svletana. She love the city also her work. Perfect for one day come from helsinki
The Personalized Tallinn City Tour in Estonia, provided us, the eager tourists, a detailed overview of the rich history, culture and contemporary lifestyle of Estonia. A popular Concert Stadium, ancient Cathedrals, Parliament building, and the old Town dotted with taverns, shops, restaurants and old structures, mark the character of present-day Estonia. Our tour guide (Special Mention "Roman" - I hope I got the spelling correct) was exceptionally Pleasant & Professional who gave the tour a meaningful direction. This 4-hour private car tour in & around Tallin was one of the best we have experienced globally.
The entire tour was very well organised from the pick up to the return transfer to the ferry terminal. Our tour guide, Elena was very knowledgeable and adaptable to our needs. Small details like toilet breaks were arranged in the middle of tour as there were no public toilets in the old Town. Even days prior to the tour, they also made effort to contact and assure the confirmation of the tour. Highly recommended! And value for money.
Our tour guide was phenomenal!!! We learned so much history from her … we absolutely loved our visit to beautiful Tallinn!!! The day was a 10!! Thank you!!!
A wonderful day with Anna. Prompt pickup at cruise port with the group divided between vans for the first half which was seeing the sites of Helsinki with short stops to walk to several of them including an amazing church. this phase seemed to cover major tourist spots and the downtown and then we were dropped off the walk the old city. There was quite a bit of walking over cable stoned streets. With difficulty one participant was able to go in a wheel chair but i am not sure that was a good idea. There is a lot to see in the old town. After the two hours of this phase there was an hour free time before the van back to the ship so in reality this is a 5 hour tour not 4. The group was about 16 people so a good and cheaper alternative to the ship offerings and probably more comprehensive.
My wife and I booked this tour as an excursion on our recent cruise on the Carnival Pride. The tour was fantastic. There was so much for us to see and this tour company performed beautifully. Daria, our guide provided us a very memorable day and wonderful information about this fascinating city. It became our favorite port on our cruise. So much so we have placed Estonia on our list of places to go as a destination location.
Although we had a little mix up meeting our guide for the tour, we eventually got with him. He walked with our group through the old town and upper town telling us the history of Tallinn. We also took a car tour with him and visited many sites outside the historical center. It was an insightful day in a beautiful country.
The tour of Tallinn was very comprehensive with plenty of photo stops. We did see many sights in the old town. The tour guide was quite knowledgeable. The tour description led us to believe once the tour guide & tour was over we would go back to the ship by bus. However, when the tour guide was done, she left us at the town square and said the bus would pick us up in 2.0 hours. We were close enough to walk back but not what we expected.
We were picked up from the port promptly. Our tour guide took us to various points of interest. She was very informative and even though it was sunny she told us it was going to rain. No more than 30 mins later it was pouring… the part that I didn’t like. You said she made us walk in the rain. Overall a beautiful city I would love to go back..
Gardens and parks were beautiful Tour started at 10 and ended at 2. If you wanted a beer tasting that could be added
