Excellent tour. Full of amazing history, culture, and facts. Elena our tour was great. She shared so much information and captured the historical detail of Tallinn while keeping it interesting. Without her knowledge and professionalism we would have missed so many fascinating sites. She was also able to share so much about the culture of the people who live in Tallinn and Estonia. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and Elena.

Itinerary
The heart of Old Town, Raekoja plats, where Tallinn City Hall is placed. How the courts were held, how decisions affecting the entire city were made, and why only two people were executed in this square throughout history - let's start the tales of Tallinn right at the meeting point.
Cat's Well - unique for Medieval Tallinn wheel well. Try to hear whispers of the evil water spirits, who are still living there according to legends.
One of the oldest churches, which was built in 13th century, it was the main place for Tallinn citizens to meet each other. NB! Ticket is not included into the tour price, but visitting it is not mandatory
The shortest way to the Upper Town is really unique and was used by pedestrians only.
This garden is completely different for any others, and you will know, how it is connected with Danish flag and what is celebrated here every 15th of June even now.
That's not a medieval building at all, but still very important for Estonia - here our parliament are making all the country-level decisions.
Well-built and richly decorated Russian Ortodox church, it was builtt mostly because of political reasons, and also has the largest Tallinn's bell - around 15 tonnes. If you are lucky, you will hear its voice.
Simple outside and so rich by history point of view - here you may even find gravestone of Swedish king's daughter. NB! Ticket is not included into the tour price, but visitting it is not mandatory
The most beautiful view to Tallinn opens here. The best place to make some photos, and, of course, listen a few stories.
Northern viewing point of Toompea hill - enjoy red roofs and modern part of Tallinn from here, in all weather. We recommend to visit it twice - in winter and summer.
Longest way to the Upper Town was used mostly by horse-transport - perfectly saved, it dives you into history of Tallinn from first sight.
The oldest cafe in Tallinn, which is still working, is unique in interior as well - it wasn't changed since 19th century.
Imagine that 600 year ago you wanted to trade in Tallinn. The first place to get an approval on your way - Great Guild Hall.
Tallinn Town Hall Pharmacy is the oldest pharmacy in Europe that has continually operated on the same premises - since 15th century.

Tallin is a fascinating old town, with Hanseatic buildings, cobbled streets and an old World charm. The walk, from in front of the Town Hall, meandered through the lower part and then climbed up the hill to the area at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Throughout, our guide gave us information on the own and the quirks of Estonian society. We ended up with a magnificent view of the Old Town from the heights. Altogether a good guide and value for money
Maria was so knowledgeable - she made the whole your so interesting and gave so much information about Estonia and it's history. Loved the tour, did not know how the time passed by!
Maria was amazing —she was engaging , informative and oh so knowledgable Came away with a true appreciation of this beautiful city and its unique history
Great tour! Visited popular landmarks and learnt about their history, also got to see some amazing viewing points of the city. The highlight of our tour was Julia, our guide. She was great. She was very knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humour. Highly recommend when visiting Tallin.
Our guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable Helsinki is a beautiful city so glad we booked this tour.
Did this tour getting off the cruise, so let me give you the good, the bad, and the ugly 😂 The good: I actually think we would’ve missed some things if we were on our own. It was also nice getting some history and context about the places we were seeing instead of just walking around like, “Yep, that’s a building.” 😂 It was about 2 hours, which was plenty of time. The bad: She didn’t really give us enough time to stop and take pictures. Like, lady, we’re tourists… we came here to collect photographic evidence! 😂 She also needed to speak up because it was sometimes hard to hear her. The ugly: Her stories were LONG. 😂 You could tell most people had mentally checked out and were just waiting for the next stop. Some stories felt like they had a beginning, middle, and a sequel nobody asked for. 😂 Overall, I’d say it was worth doing once, but next time I might just grab the highlights and explore on our own.
Guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. Great overview on your first day in town. Very compact old town, very scenic.
Very comprehensive tour of old town in Tallinn. The guide was super helpful in detailing the history of Tallin
Amazing walking tour! Cedric was great at telling stories with so much passion and humor. It was wonderful all the way through! It was a fun way to learn about Estonia, Tallinn.
Great experience with local guide Archibald. He was knowledgeable & informative about the history of what we were seeing, took us to excellent vantage points for panoramic photos over Tallinn, and provided recommendations for the best places/museums for an in depth visit.
I was very happy with this guided tour. The guide was very patient with me, as I got a bit late to meeting point. The guide was very informative, knowledgeable & friendly. I would definately recommend this guided tour.
Really enjoyable walking tour with enough knowledge to appreciate what we were seeing with out being overloaded .
Enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Recommended.
Excellent walking tour with Maria. Very informative and covered all major sights. Maria was very friendly, funny and helpful either way additional tips and advice
If you are visiting Tallinn, you absolutely have to book this tour. Archibald didn't just give us a standard history lesson; he brought the entire city to life. He possesses an incredible depth of knowledge, seamlessly connecting medieval history with fascinating insights into modern-day politics and life in Estonia today. He was so generous with his time and actually stayed with us much longer than the scheduled tour just to make sure all of our questions were answered. You can tell he is genuinely passionate about his city, and his storytelling kept us engaged the entire time.
Very interesting and informative guide .Beautiful city .Would definitely recommend .
Lovely guide . However, she was very reserved , didn't smile and did not stimulate us at all with her tour .
Our guide was really good and very well informed. He provided lots of information in a fun way that kept us entertained. Tallinn in a beautiful city with such an interesting past it was good to start our stay with this walk to help us get our bearings and decide what other sites and museums we wanted to see.
Guide was very knowledgeable. Interesting stories, histories, sites. Wear good sturdy walking shoes. Area is cobblestones and steep.
Great tour for learning about the history of Estonia. Really enjoyed the guides stories about growing up here in the 80's. Great price and perfect amount of time for the tour.
Great guide. She was very knowledgeable and explained the complex history of Tallinn well. Some folks might have a problem with the cobbles and uphill but it was fine for us.
Excellent walking tour! Our guide gave us the fascinating history behind Tallinn. Well worth the time and money. Beautiful city!
Informative...good pace....covered lower and upper towns. Meeting spot was easy to find. Good suggestions on where to explore further and to shop.
Karina was our guide for the tour of Tallinn. She was very well informed, being from the Old Town of Tallinn. She was very engaging and answered any questions that were asked of her. She was very passionate in describing the history and stories of Old Tallinn. Anyone who is fortunate enough to have Karina as their guide will have a very pleasant experience.
Excellent tour by friendly, well informed and humorous Elena. Covered the upper and lower old town in a leisurely walk coupled with a stream of facts and stories that brought the city to life. Highly recommended.
Julia was a good and well informed guide who is a local from Tallinn. We saw places we wouldn't have otherwise seen and got insights into Estonian/Tallinn life and history. It was a small tour so there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions as we went along which was great and we appreciated it even more as we saw the other tours with many people Two hours was the perfect time and we can recommend
Maria was knowledgeable on all matters historic and social. We came away with a good understanding of Tallinn and Estonia.
Visit different scenic spots, informative, well organized route, but finished a little bit earlier than expected
The guide was a local (grew up in Tallinn), which is nice, and overall she was pleasant enough. From a content and delivery point of view, she seemed a bit short on details and was a bit soft spoken (but we were only nine so it was easy to draw close and hear what she did share). It may have been her personality, but it also seemed as if questions weren’t really welcomed… or at best were a bit of an inconvenience. She did answer some questions, and occasionally there was interesting new content in her replies, but she appeared a bit put out when answering them. Also, I noticed some of the information she provided left out some important details or differed notably from other sources I had read prior to the tour. It was an average tour with a local guide who seemed to be going through the motions rather than being enthusiastic about what she was doing. Not horrible by any means, but I felt there was definitely room for a better experience.
Julia gave a perfect overview of the history of Tallinn and had excellent knowledge of several fields of history and culture. I really would recumbent this tour. Thank you for creating good memories
Elina took us to some beautiful and scenic places. The medieval city has many beautiful buildings and she filled us in on the history of the city. It was a great tour.
Wear good walking shoes and there are 50 steps up to the upper village Maria was a well informed guide and a pleasure to be with
Had a wonderful tour with Harry. Great to see a bit of Finland outside of the city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed this tour of Tallinn. Our guide, Elena, was very engaging and informative about Estonia and its history from the 14/15th centuries right up to the present day. We would highly recommend this tour during your visit to Tallinn.
Maria was a marvelous guide.. The group was small and therefore more personal. I always have a lot ofquestions, and Maria gaveus more in depth answrsrs and information. Tallis so rich in its history. We lived the tour!
Perfect pace. Friendly and informative.
Guide had lots of information, his English was excellent and we had a great 2 hours learning about Tallin's history and tales
Informative. Small group. A good way to get to know the city.
Our guide, Katerina was very knowledgeable about Tallin. She told us very interesting facts about the city, country and its history. It was really cold so only recommendation would be to have more stops inside. I would recommend this tour!
I'm not a big fan of crowds so going in winter was ideal for me. There were only three other people on the tour with the cobble stones and snow old Town looks very pretty in the winter. We had time to stop for mulled wine as well that was delicious.
Very good walking tour our guide Karina was very knowledgeable and spoke beautiful English. Just over two hours long we did it on our first morning there and it set us up well for our stay
Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and was even willing to change some of our itinerary based on our interests and preferences. Well worth the money spent.
Our tour guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. She has a real passion for Tallin, Estonia and history. She was charming and the tour was very well paced with moments inside to warm up.

This was a great way to see highlights of old town and understand a bit of the culture of the city. I recommend it for first-time visitors.
Our tour guide Alina was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She found a place for lunch for us and helped us to the ferry terminal.
We had a fantastic time exploring Tallinn with Sergei - not only was he a wealth of information, but he was also funny and very accommodating! He helped to make our time in Tallinn much more enjoyable than if we had tried to navigate it ourselves. We would highly recommend this guided tour :)
