Not sure why we booked skip the queue tickets as we still had to queue behind everyone else! Nice view but not worth the money.

Itinerary
Come to the TV Tower at the appointed time (we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes earlier and enjoying the exhibits on the ground floor) and wait your turn. The electronic display board will notify you when it is time to head to the lifts. In 2012, the newly renovated TV tower opened its doors to visitors once more, and it has since become a new tourism magnet in the city. In addition to excellent panoramic views at the height of 170 metres. Please note: • No refunds are given for tickets that are not used within the allotted time • All rooms at the Teletorn are wheelchair accessible, except for the 22nd floor terrace • Baby carriers we ask you to leave the 1st floor wardrobe

It was beautiful to see the city skyline from the tower. The art exhibitions were made special having the opportunity to meet the artist. The little cafe was a welcomed surprise to sit and enjoy a warm cocoa
A bit on the pricey end, but the tour provides a nice insight into the history and significance of the tower to the city. The sight from the top is also phenomenal, and would have been even better if the weather was a bit nicer.
What a place, steeped in soviet history. Great views from the top and when we went there was incredible wind on the terrace! Losing a star due to price. Unfortunately because of the price we couldn't stay for a drink at the top. But would recommend for any first time visitors to Tallinn.
Decent, great views, and you can walk outside for a small section. There’s a cafe above the viewing platform. Only a short drive from the centre of Tallin.
I think it's very nice. The museum part of it is very interesting and interactive, and the overall experience was super nice. The people working there were super helpful as well. You do need to have more time dedicated for it, because it's further away into the city, and it will take time to look around and get back.
Great visit … interesting information and interactive activities to learn about the tower. Amazing views from top as you’d expect. Nice cafe to enjoy drink/cake and the awesome view.
Amazing views from the top of the tower. On a clear day you can see the whole area. I visit on a Monday, very calm day no queues practically empty only school excursions, perfect to see everything without disputing a space with people...
A surprisingly fascinating insight into Estonian history - and great views. Worth allowing more than the 1-2 hours suggested.
Such a fun experience, specially at the balcony with the high winds! All the staff so friendly and nice. At the top they have see through holes that might be scary for some to stand on, but so fun!
Very enjoyable, fantastic weather also helped. Very friendly staff. Views amazing and we also visited the Botanical Gardens (a short walk from the tower). Highly recommend this too.
The view from teletorn is nice. The tickets are over-priced why we felt disappointed. For that price, the view itself is not enough as an experience.
Terrible customer service don’t honor their coupons And when asked their reply was guess your out of luck
You get a chance to get a view of entire Tallinn. There's also some interactive things for children.
The fantastic views! I hadn't realised just how flat Estonia was. And how Green! We went by bus from the old town. Getting a Tallinn Card for travel and entrance fees was great value.
Great view. I always enjoy the possibility of ascending TV-Towers for having a good look of the wider city area. The tower is located outside of the city centre in the middle of the woods.
Amazing. What an experience. An icon from Estonia's Soviet past. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant was very pleasant with the best view in the whole of Estonia. The young man serving behind the bar did so with the upmost of courtesy. I had a lovely meal and the best brownie I've ever had the pleasure of coming across. He was also very helpful with some travel advice that I had planned for a day in the East and a town called Narva. I would visit this again in a heartbeat. Its set in the most beautiful of woodland and a real pleasure to walk through and find. Don't miss out on this if you visit Tallinn.
As with any TV tower, it is always a must do. The views from the top are, of course, incredible. There are lots of information systems to tell you what you are looking out and you can see for miles and miles. There is also an outdoor area which gives you a bit more of an outdoors frill at the top of the tower. Go and do.
We first visited TV tower in 2013 and it was an exciting experience then. Downstairs there was touch screens that tell the history of TV tower. You could also watch a mini movie on 3D and record the video of yourself reading news with your chosen background. Lots of fun for kids! The lift then took you to the 21st? floor and the little screen showed all the floors you passed. Upstairs more touch screens and an amazing view to the city. One floor up there was an outside viewing area, a simple bit affordable caffe with delicious cakes and a restaurant. We visited again August this year and what a disappointment it was! The girl in the gift shop selling tickets, seemed uninterested and bored. She directed us straight to the lifts to go to the top, if we hadn’t been before, we wouldn’t have known that there was the first floor area with the screens as well. The cinema room is still there but they don’t show the film anymore. Neither is the video recording equipment working. We then made our way upstairs, the screen in the lift was not on this time. Upstairs the view is still great and the touch screens are still there too.
Great view of the area from this Soviet era tower. There are photos and multimedia info tables that help identify the sites and history too. You can see the Baltic Sea and forested areas as well as new houses being built and industrial sites too. It really gives you an idea of the size and layout of the Tallinn metro area. Bit of a travel back in time museum in the base.
We saw the tower first when arriving by plane, and again from our hotel. We decided it was a must do whilst in Tallinn, and we were not disappointed. We were in Tallinn for only 3 days, so went there and back by taxi (not expensive) to save time. We paid and went straight in, then up in the lift to enjoy the wonderful 360 degree views although it would have been good to know in which direction we were looking. After taking numerous photos, we went up to the restaurant for a glass of lovely warm mulled wine! Then we went outside for the 'real' view in the windy conditions, and took a good video of the experience. All in all we enjoyed it all and felt it good value for money.
Amazing views....If you've got a head for heights...! Bit out of town but worth a visit, bus every 15 mins.
The Tallinn TV Tower is about 25 minutes by bus from Tallinn's Old Town. If the weather is good, I'd recommend the trip. After taking the elevator to the top, the views are impressive, and there's even a nice lunch counter up there.
Ticket cost was €13. Tower gives lovely panaromic views of the city. There a few bits and pieces to do downstairs then an elevator whisks you up to the 21st floor, which is an indoor observation area. There is an exhibition round the area about cells and DNA, interesting but would've been more informative to tell me what I was looking at outside as I walked round. You can take the stairs up a floor and walk on the outside balcony which only covers about a 1/3 of the 360 view you got downstairs. There is also a cafe and restaurant on this floor. To give you a rough idea of price a muffin is €4 and an espresso €3. Overall I found it too expensive for what it was.
After all these years I finally got myself in the Teletorn. It is just so far out from the city center that you might not go there if you had something else to do closer. With one visit I experienced the views around, somewhat short history lesson and a dna exhibit. I certainly enjoyed them all. The history lesson was short and approximate but gave a point of view to some things. Dna exhibit did not give much new information since I am already a customer of 23andme.com. But the views out the tower were great. It was absolutely great to see how everything is situated in real life. Map tells you something but a bird view is something else. Fantastic! Still it does not take the fun out of seing the city center from a tower/roof closer to the city. Teletorn is so far that the details of the old town and Tallinn in over all are not seen the perfect way. There is also a small display of historical tv studio equipment.
I went to vist with 3 kids. Youngest 9mnth old. As usual you prepare, give them a talk what you will do. Got there. Two kids in stroller, bit tired. On ticket counter I was told no stroller allowed. I had 71cm.wide double stroller. I said its not possible to go with baby without stroller. I said I have small one (airport handluggage size) in car that I can use instead. Then an old man was called. He simply stated I can't go in with stroller. My mum is in wheelchair, so I asked if you send people in wheelchair back too. They said no. So my mum alone is allowed. DON'T GO, HAVE COME ACROSS SO RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY SERVICE FOR LONG TIME. ALSO LEAVE KIDS HOME, EVEN THOUGH IT IS MEANT FOR KIDS
We took the number 34A bus out of town. Lovely scenic route past the seafront and through some forest. Got a of at teletorn bus stop and the entrance was right there. No queues brought our tickets there. Up to the viewing platform lots of interactive games for the kids. We then went up to the outside viewing platform they have blankets as it was a lot cooler up there. My son had a fantastic instructor Karl who took him around the outside.....my legs were then shaking even more. Fantastic views we did not do the exhibition or explore outside but there was great play areas for younger kids. I loved the view holes the most... torturing my shaky legs. There is a lovely cafe with a full bar had a lovely hit chocolate to round it off.
Visible for miles, the Tallinn Television Tower is well worth the 13 euro entrance fee (despite what other reviewers have said). A lift takes you up to the 175 metre level, from which there is a fantastic view. On a clear day you are supposed to be able to see as far as Finland, but the slight haze the day that we were there prevented us from seeing that far. Great restaurant at the top, 360 degree view, amazingly comprehensive DNA exhibition (not sure of the relevance, but excellent nevertheless), some small glass plates in the floor giving a view straight down for 175 metres - I couldn't stand on those, but did go out of the enclosed area to the outside (still perfectly safe) but no way could I do the 'walk on the edge').
Very interesting and amazing place The food is good Beautiful view from top Staff is amazing and freindly
Must go on a clear sunny day. Lift to top, 21 floors. Interesting info on cells (of all things?) at the top. You can walk round outside and take photos. Combined this with the botanical gardens nearby. Great day.
The Tallinn TV Tower has one of the tallest viewing platforms in Europe, this doesn't necessarily make it good or scenic though. The view was very high and was nice to a certain extent but because it is so far out the view is not as scenic as some of the many other vista attractions in Tallinn. All the other vista attractions I visited offered a more pleasurable view than this for the reasons stated above. This is also out of the way to get to in the Pireta district of Tallinn. We caught an Uber there and back. The cost of Ubers in Tallinn is super cheap. The cost of this attraction is excessive for what you get at 13 Euros a per person. It is an iconic building so it is probably worth doing once, just to say you have done it but like the Atomium in Brussels it is overrated,so I want be visiting for a second time. I also found the rudeness, incompetence and the disinterest of the staff employed there to be a bit rich as well. Firstly there was the confusion with my tickets which I bought from Tiquets.com. They thought I had ordered from a different website and it took them ages to scan my my mobile tickets. Once that was done that was it,you were on your own - no explanation of the attraction or where to go ,no information leaflet.Total disinterest in the paying customer, which is why I am reducing this review from 3 Stars to 2,as the customer servcice was poor to say the least at the Tallinn TV Tower. On the plus side we did take some decent pictures at this attraction from the deck, but they were some what spoiled by the protective fencing.
Enjoyed both the Botanical garden and tv tower with the same ticket. Price was reasonable;n only 8 euros when you are a student or retired. For the youngest of the family, there were many little information spots made in a nice way. Also, the see-through holes up in the tower were an exciting experience. View over Tallinn was beautiful. The tower was worth visiting.

Worth the treck out of town, good views of the surrounding area give prospective.

Most people go for the views, but the exhibition on the top floor is also very good. From where the elevator drops you off, you can still go up one more floor and go out to the terrace.
Very exciting experience! Love heights. Good restaurant with good food and cappuccino. Exhibition. Blew something incredible outside.😅 but good panorama outside and inside.
We took a bus and drove about 40 minutes from the old town. We visited this tower 300 meters high. We climb in elevator halfway up because the rest is just a huge emitter. This tower was originally built for the 1980 Russian Olympics. At the top nice panorama of the city and the forest at the foot.
We went up 21 floors to 170 meters. Once at the top, everything looks pretty rocky. Some floor windows down were blind. We were lucky with the weather and the sun. Therefore, we had a beautiful distant view. In 10 minutes we were around once and went down again. We could have saved the EUR 28.00.
Skeptical at first but then I had to change my mind, a nice walk out of town (not too much) with Tallinn's efficient transport, and I arrived at the Tallinna Teletorn. Helpful and kind employees, I could admire Tallinn from the 21st and 22nd floors, and have a really interesting 3D experience (7euro). I was absolutely satisfied with the visit
We visited the Tallinn TV Tower on Reservation for Dinner. Large free parking available immediately at the exit. The tower stands in a beautiful park. At the base there is a small shop. Before reaching the panoramic terrace there is a floor in which the history of the television tower is illustrated where experiences for children are also available. The view is really very nice; you can see Tallinn and suburbs from the highest point. Prices in line with experience.
The tower is far from the city: we arrived with a Bolt on the way and returned by bus. It is similar to many other TV towers and the entrance is certainly not cheap (18 Euro each), but the tower is the tallest building in Estonia (314 m) and the view from the top of the area is very nice. On the ground floor, in addition to the shop, is explained, with large images, the history of the Tower, built in the 70s and finished at great speed by the USSR which, meanwhile, had been selected to host the 1980 Olympics. When Estonia declared independence in 1991, an armed contingent of the USSR tried to take possession of the tower which was defended by people who rushed there to obstruct the Soviets. A small number of Estonian soldiers barricaded themselves on the floor where the communications equipment was and blocked the elevator. Climbing the stairs wasted the Russians' time, and so the tower was saved. With a very fast elevator you go up to the 21st floor, a large panoramic room with some "portholes" in the floor, from which you can see the void under your feet, and some multimedia or experiential equipment. We could not go to the terrace because of the wind (and the cold!) but we did not mind. There is also, upstairs, a restaurant. But of course the most beautiful thing is to look at a green territory (and in our case, being winter, also very white!), flat as we are not used to, and that is lost in the sea...
Unmissable, entry included in the Tallin Card (fortunately because it is quite expensive), the elevator ride is quick and from the (covered) room at the top you will have a 360° view of Tallin and its surroundings. Impressive, don't forget to walk on the portholes provided for this purpose (don't get dizzy). It is possible to access the upper circular panoramic walkway, crossing the restaurant, the wind at this height takes your breath away and jostles you, what an experience!!! Naturally a visit to make in case of good weather it enhances everything, otherwise in the mist, I dare not imagine!!
A little outside of Tallinn. The view was nice, the selection and service in the restaurant could be better.
Koko paikka oli hieno. Lapsi tykkäsi ulkona olevista leikkipaikoista ulkona. Ravintola oli siisti. Hieno paikka.
Very great view, well maintained complex. Unfortunately a bit remote and a not so good bus connection at the weekend, but really worth a trip
Totally useless restaurant. Poor service and no good food. No napkins. Waited 30 minutes for a pie to be heated. Drink came in when we finished eating
The tower is really an experience, great information and interactive stuff inside the tower. Windows recessed in the floor allow you to look down. Unfortunately it was not nice weather that day, so I could not look very far. The tower is far outside the center, but the Hop On Hop Off bus goes there, otherwise by bus or taxi.
A few miles from the center of Tallinn. The view is magical and breathtaking. You can easily get there by bus. There is a coffee shop serving delicious sweets. On the ground floor there is a souvenir shop. Anyone in Tallinn is worth a visit.
The exhibition on the 21st floor includes interactive whiteboards, you can view the city through outdoor cameras in real life, the history of the city. There's also educational and entertaining interactive material about the human genome. Going to the balcony from the restaurant allows you to enjoy the sunset, sorry, the telescope is not working. The food in the restaurant is generally quite decent, but we were unlucky: the sauce to the mussels was oversalted. Waiters are polite and friendly, but waiting for their dishes, plates and dessert is a test of patience, very slowly. Tablecloths would decorate the hall (for my taste).
Great view over the city of Tallinn and surroundings. In the restaurant, unfortunately, the air conditioning was set so low that it was uncomfortable and we did not linger long.
The tower itself is nothing special and Tallinn is visible in miniature, so it is a half not recommended. But if you get there on foot from Tallinn, passing through Kadriorg Park, doing a stretch on the seafront and returning to the woods with trails all mapped out on google maps, you do 10 km in nature and on arrival climb the tower and you see the view. Avoid the restaurant, if you have not booked they do not even give you a bag of chips.
