Tour agency offered alternative slot next day as our flight was delayed and we couldn't make it to original slot. They are not obliged to do so and we were grateful for the offer. Great guide and enjoyed the tour!

Itinerary
The tour starts at Town Hall Square. The guide gives general information about the excursion, route and history of Estonia. You can tell us your preferences so that the guide can highlight them during the tour. (5 minutes stop at the point + 3 minutes transitions)
The Church of St. Nicholas is one of the oldest in the city. At this stop you will hear amazing stories about this church and the surrounding area. (10 minutes stop at the point + 2 minutes transitions)
Freedom Square is an excellent location for talking about modern city life and amazing statistical data. (8 minutes stop at the point + 5 minutes transitions)
The space in front of the impressive section of the fortress wall with its various towers provides an excellent backdrop for the story of medieval defenses. You will learn to determine the age of towers by eye. (8 minutes stop at the point + 3 minutes transitions)
What does the word Toompea mean? Who is Long Herman? Where did the knights live? What is the system of government in Estonia? And why our guests often call the Estonian parliament cute? You will learn about this and much more on Palace Square. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral A constant favorite of our guests is the majestic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Let's talk about the features of the building and its difficult fate. (15 minutes stop at the point + 3 minutes transitions)
Using the example of the oldest mainland church in Estonia, you will learn what Tallinn Gothic is and why wood turned out to be not the most reliable material for construction. (6 minutes stop at the point + 4 minutes transitions)
No spoilers: just the best view of Tallinn. Let's count spiers, weather vanes, high-rise dominants and ferries. (7 minutes stop at the point + 3 minutes transitions)
Another observation deck, but a completely different view. You will find out how many islands there are in Estonia, how many towers surround the Old Town and why it is impossible to get from here by train to other European countries. (5 minutes stop at the point + 5 minutes transitions)
What does the Danish national flag have to do with Tallinn? Why are there no faces on the monk sculptures in the garden? Such different questions and such interesting stories. (5 minutes stop at the point + 1 minutes transitions)
Short and Long Legs are not parts of the body, but entire streets of the Old Town. You will walk along paths that in the Middle Ages were the border of two different cities, and the streets were separated by a wall of mistrust. (4 minutes stop at the point + 4 minutes transitions)
The most cozy of the squares of the old city now and one of the most important in the Middle Ages. The territory of the Great Guild is replete with historically important objects. What are guilds? And what role guilds played in the life of a medieval city, you will find out here. (5 minutes stop at the point + 3 minutes transitions)
Katarina's Lane is the most atmospheric corner of the old city, which is not so easy to find without a hint. Local craft shops, stunning views and, of course, incredible history (This place is not a must-see. It all depends on the comfortable speed for the group).

Lana was a great tour guide, and we learned a lot of history about Estonia, and the old town. I would recommend this tour!
Was very nice and intresting tuor
Our guide, Elena was really well versed in the history and kept the tour very conversational. I really enjoyed learning all the history and how the town came together and grew over the years.
Tour guide was amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly funny! Made this magical city come to life even more!
Max was a wonderful guide. He was incredibly well informed and personable. It was a terrific tour and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about the history of Estonia.
Max was a nice tour guide and gave us facts about the city. I felt like the two hours had a lot of quiet moments, which made it feel dragged on. I wish there was more fun facts and more engagement during the walk. At some point, I did zone out as there was too much facts and it felt like textbook. I did still give it 4 stars as we hit a lot of the must sees and view points, tour guide did seem to have good intensions just more engagements would be nice.
Max was fabulous. Having a linguist with a passion for history really brings Tallin and Estonia as a whole to life. Definitely recommended.
Elena (sp?) was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. She gave us a great introduction to Tallinn and Estonia’s history while walking us through the Old Town. I learned so many new and interesting things about Estonia that I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. This was a great walking tour to get familiar with Tallinn before exploring more on our own. Highly recommended!
Max was a super interesting guide who was happy to answer any questions we asked. The tour was great, taking us to a number of the major sights in the Old Town, including two viewing platforms near Parliament House, which gave us great vistas over the historic centre and beyond. Highly recommended!
Nice overview of Tallin history. The town is beautiful. Our guide Oksana was lovely and knowledgeable. Lots of walking up hill and on uneven cobblestones. Do not attempt if you are not a strong walker.
Excellent guide! Max was very knowledgable and very welcoming of questions and had answers to almost every question. In fact, I think he had an answer to every question! It was a perfect pace, fast enough, but at a pace that included everybody. The group of 12 made it easy to hear everything Max was saying. Would highly recommend!
Max was the best. The tour was the perfect balance of history, fun facts, pacing of climbs and viewpoints
This tour was amazing. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and a pleasure to listen to. She was quite passionate and made the tour fun. I really loved learning about the walls and the entire history of the city. This tour is a must it really opens your mind to how amazing the old city is.
Max was a wonderful guide and very informative.
Must do in Tallin. Great way in short period of time to understand Tallin history. Highly recommend.
Excellent knowledge and pace by our guide Max. He really knew his stuff and loads more besides. Answered all questions confidently and was very well informed about all aspects of Estonia in general. It was a great tour to do on the first day as it really informed the rest of our time in Tallinn. Highly recommended.
This was a great tour. The guide was so knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. I learned a lot and didn’t realize how interesting Tallinn’s history is
Tallinn is an exceptionally beautiful city and our friendly guide was very knowledgeable about Tallinn and Estonia's history. Definitely recommend this tour
Eliana (sp?) was an excellent guide. She covered the points of interest with historical perspectives and paced the walk well.
8 in total. Perfect size of group. It was very informative.
This was absolutely one of the best tours I have ever been on. For two hours, we walked around the beautiful city of Tallinn and I must say, our guide, Max, was brilliant in every meaning of the word. He was engaging, enthusiastic and interesting. He encouraged questions and was extremely (and impressively) knowledgeable. Even the pace was perfect. We learned a great deal of information and enjoyed every minute.
Seeing most of Tallinn’s sites in two hours with a good guide named Alex was smooth and informative. I could listen to Alex for hours. She gave the insight of a local without bias. The history of the city is interesting and the food was good. So glad I decided on this tour. Long enough for vital information but short enough to not eat too much of your day. Be aware that there are many steps and cobblestone walkways.
Nice nice of the old city. Instructive and clearly worth it. Nice and knowledgeable guide, Elena, who is a local.
Elina was lovely and knowledgeable. This was a great introduction to Tallinn. We covered a lot of areas in short time. Great experience.
Really great tour and guide, absolutely recommend!
Great tour with Max exploring the old town with about 18 people in our group. Very informational and it’s also very knowledgeable as he’s native here. Great sense of humor as well.
Great tour guide. Highly recommend recommend!
Excellent tour. I appreciated that our tour guide walked at a reasonable pace and took questions. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly.
Very informative tour with a friendly guide who could answer many questions. I would highly recommend if and when visiting the city
Svetlana was an excellent guide, energetic, enthusiastic and tried to engage everyone on the tour equally. She is a credit to her country and one can tell she is very proud to be Estonian. Thanks to her for attempting to fill us with all her extensive knowledge of her city and country.! Highly Recommend.
Fantastic guide highly recommend
Our guide, Svetlana, was so interesting, loved telling us about her country, and was incredibly knowledgeable.
Max was amazing. He managed to keep all of our attention while giving us a wide variety of history and stories pertaining to Tallin. He was patient with each of us, keeping the same pace as the collective group and also was able to keep the group moving forward. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Thank you
Our guide Max was awesome. It was a solid 2.5 hour walking tour. Bring water as there really aren't any stops other than photo ops. Wear sensible shoes as the cobblestones are quite rocky in Old Town.
Coming from a place of little knowledge about Estonia, I am now in awe of the history. The old town blew me away and despite the rain, it was a fantastic tour.
Max was a well informed and engaging guide. Definitely enjoyed his storytelling and answering some of our toughest questions. I highly recommend for anyone but especially if this is your first time in this charming city.
She talked too fast and with an accent that sometimes were hard to understand and gave too much information. Tourists couldn't absorb all the details.
It was wonderful, a lot of walking, beautiful sites on every corner. Several souvenirs shops, get to to know the rich history of Estonia
We really enjoyed this walking tour with Max. His English was perfect, he was incredibly knowledgable and was willing and ready to answer any questions, regardless of whether they were related to the tour in Tallinn or Estonian culture, politics and life. His tour was informative and very entertaining. Thanks very much Max, we learnt a lot!
Max was an excellent guide, very knowledgable and very interested and passionate about Tallinn. He was happy to take questions at any time and always gave great answers. His history knowledge was also great and I learnt a lot about the city - perfect !
We very much enjoyed this 2.5 hr walking tour which was limited to 10 clients and so easy to hear and engage with our guide. The historical and cultural information was delivered with humour and deep knowledge. I highly recommend this tour.
Max was such a great guide! So knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions—he even encouraged us to ask! The tour gave us a really good look at Tallinn and its history and some interesting things about the Estonian people, all presented with a bit of humour. I would definitely suggest this tour to anyone who is visiting Tallinn.
Lovely walking tour, very interesting seen all the main spots, great guide who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Really enjoyable
Very good tour with Elena. Informative, entertaining and at times funny. 2hrs covering the upper and lower towns. Small group of 12 people.
