An excellent tour that is not rushed and gives you a more in-depth experience than you we could have achieved by ourselves. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a day to remember.

Had a great time exploring Tallinn with Herrmann. Small group of fellow travelers and a day where the weather got progressively better. It was a good mix of local and regional history and how the past helped shape present day Tallinn. The setting (mostly in the old and upper town areas) were lovely for looks and charm. Herrmann was very knowledgable and amenable to lots of questions. An all in all good time. Highly recommend.
Hermann was our tour guide and did an absolutely fantastic job! He is a native Estonian and gave us an accurate perspective of Tallinn, not only today, but what it was like under Russian rule until 1991. I highly recommend this tour, and if you're lucky enough to get Hermann as your guide, you will enjoy this tour immensely!
It takes you through the old and new town and shows the incorporation of both architectures. The knowledge of our guide was excellent and very informative telling us much about the medieval history through to modern days.
Herrman is a very knowledgeable guide. Provides a lot of history about Tallinn and Estonia. In addition to sights in old town he took us to modern area outside the old town which was amazing and which we would never visit if not for this tour. Highly recommend this tour.
Marta is very knowledgeable and diligent. Tour was very enjoyable and educational. Highly recommend.
Herman was an outstanding guide. His informative and entertaining manner was well received and he covered all questions with super knowledge and insights about Tallin and Estonia. With my poor hearing, I really appreciated his enunciation and strong voice and excellent English.
Extensive, educational, individual walking tour by an experienced, knowledgable guide. Hermann was in the top 1% of all guides I have had. His depth of knowledge, willingness to share detailed historical and cultural insights, and lived experience through the drastic changes in Estonia over the past several decades made this a tour to remember. Thank you, Hermann, for an extraordinary experience.
Our guide Katre was excellent and so knowledgeable. She explained and took us to all the key points in the old town and nothing was rushed. Small group definitely a way too go. Great experience Stephen and Georgia from Australia
We really enjoyed our time and conversation with our guide, Hermann. We learned a great deal about Estonia and about the old town.
Our guide, Herman, was fantastic. He shared so much information about Estonian history and culture, as we walked through the various areas of Tallinn, including the seaport, upper old town, and lower old town. It was a really great experience and I highly recommend this tour. Do it upon your arrival in Tallinn, and you will have an overview that will allow you to self-guide the rest of your visit.
Our tour guide Martha was amazing. Very knowledgeable and went into details about the history of Tallinn. Truly enjoyed the walking tour with her.
It was quite slow paced And very dofficult to here of all the viatpir a walking towards iwe have taken This was my least favorite because we stood around so much and couldn’t hear a lot of the information
This tour was so insightful to the rich history of Estonia. Learning about all the cultural influence in Estonia and it oldest roots to rebuilding past WWII.
Femme was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and super friendly
An excellent introduction to all aspects of life in Tallinn and Estonia generally. Covered more recent history, relationships with key countries, showed us the different styles of buildings and key historical sights. Well paced and some good anecdotes and facts. Excellent English and dealt with all questions well.
Femke was a great guide! We covered a lot of ground both inside old town Tallin and to other great neighborhoods, we might not have gotten to quickly. She provided a lot of interesting information and was a lovely person! Highly recommend.
We loved Tallin. The tour was informative and interesting. I love taking tours bc I feel that you learn a lot and without a guide you would miss little details .
Informative and pleasantly presented tour of the old town of Tallinn. The tour leader was well informed and conveyed the narrative in a manner that was able to be absorbed .
Marta was a wonderful guide - full of interesting history of Tallinn across many centuries . It was a most interesting experience . I was supposed to be accompanied by my husband who had been injured the day below so it must have been a challenge 1:1 for Marta but I found the experience enchanting and would recommend Marta to any future folk- her English was faultless
I ended up being the only person on this tour and Marta was absolutely brilliant, showed me all around, with a lot of knowledge of the town, she gave me recommendations of where to visit and places to eat and have a drink, she was so friendly, covers everything in one tour, would thoroughly recommend, thank you Marta it was a pleasure to meet you.
Fabulous tour. Marta was so knowledgeable and she has so much passion for history and her country/culture. She also never complained about the pouring rain! We would definitely recommend this tour and we feel that there is so much more to see that we would love to return to Tallinn
We arrived to find out there were only the four of us for the tour , so it was extra private, and Marta was amazing. She taught us all about the city and answered all our questions.! beautiful tour highly recommend!
The walking tour was great over the cobblestone streets. The guide was very knowledgeable and had excellent command of the English language. A worthwhile experience.
Marta, our local guide, was so interesting and knowledgeable about Tallinn, Estonia, and the whole region's history. Highly recommend.
Excellent tour, our guide, Marta, was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable, she was full of stories about the history of Tallinn. We had a lot of questions and she answered all of them with ease and charm. Very worthwhile experience.
Time well spent getting to know the history, consequences and impact still today. Martha was patient and enjoyable to be with - very engaging. We had walked the city before our tour - walking with Martha made it come alive.
I’ve been on many walking tours, but this one was OUTSTANDING! My guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly passionate about Tallinn. Thank you!
Marta was a executional tour guide! Very knowledgeable and witty, she made our walking tour a total delight! Got to see all the old town sites and she even shared some secret bars and her favorite places. Would totally recommend this tour!
We had an outstanding tour of Old Town Talinn with Femke. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. We hit all the highlights and learned a lot about Talinn and Estonia from Medieval time, the Soviet occupation, and present day. Highly recommended.
Great tour guide - amazing knowledge and love for her city- there was no question she did not know the answer to and customized to information we were interested in - also changed the order of the tour to accommodate us - cannot say enough good things about this tour and Marta as a tour guide - 10 out of 10
Femke was a very knowledgeable tour guide, lots of stories and interesting history! It was theee full hours well spent.
Our experience with Amitylux tours company was just wonderful! Our tour guide was Femke and she made her city the high point of our vacation. She brought us to many amazing cobblestoned streets and told us stories about historical buildings and people who lived there, showed us magical views from various lookout places in the upper city and went with us through courtyards and narrow ancient streets full of ancient, almost mysterious beauty. Thank you so much!
We arrived to this small group walking tour to discover we were the only ones in the group, which was already special. Despite the pouring rain we were able to get a terrific overview of beautiful Tallinn. The tour covered all the main sites, was well paced, and covered both medieval and more recent history. Our guide, Femke, was pleasant, helpful, and most importantly, knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour from Amitylux for a solid introduction to Tallinn.
This was a very informative and engaging tour. We got lucky that we were the only people on it so we basically got a private tour. Unfortunately I don't remember our guides name but she was originally from Belgium and she has short hair. She was fantastic and you can tell that she loves Estonia. Tallinn is a beautiful city and this tour is totally worth while to get to know it. We definitely recommend this tour.
Fantastic experience today. Herman spoke great English, knew loads of history and anecdotes and had a great delivery
This was a good overview of the old Town as well as a bit of the surrounding area. I appreciated the history of Estonia. Hermann was generally a good guide. My concern was that he was very opinionated about global warming (felt it was a hoax) and Covid (hoax as well perpetuated by the pharmaceutical industry). He is entitled to his opinions and I respect that but I felt he should not be that open on a tour. He took us through a tunnel under the road which was very sketchy. I was not comfortable there. The tour finished at the train station. I’m not sure if that is the usual termination point but since he was catching a train out of town maybe we finished there to accommodate him.
My family and I greatly enjoyed our afternoon touring Tallinn and hearing about its history from the perspective of a local. Hermann was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Showed us around the old city and some newer sites. Highly recommended.
I did the 3-hour walking tour of Old Town Tallinn. I always take a guided walking tour of a city’s historic center and this was one of the best. It was a small group of six and our guide, Herrman, made the difference. Amiable, knowledgeable and witty, he was one of the best I’ve experienced. Highest recommendation.
We unfortunately missed the tour but this is a compliment to the fabulous tour operator ! So communicative and understanding. I can only imagine how fabulous the staff are of the tour company is this excellent. Well organised and quick to respond. Thank you.
The tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable in his explanations. The sites visited were perfect for beautiful pictures.
Our tour guide was not only funny and entertaining but also incredibly informative. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Tallinn - Absolutely Loved It! What a fantastic tour! Saw the old town, lots of cool little shops. Great vibes! Would highly recommend!
This was one of my best tours ever. The city in itself is beautiful, and the people are so nice. We really enjoyed our time & will definitely come back. :)
